We loved EVERYTHING about Scotty’s Motel! But, more than the location and its room, we truly loved the hospitality from its owner, Tom. He went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one: care and quality, incredible cleanliness, and even helped plan our activities and meals! His recommendations were excellent and we are truly looking forward to staying with him again! We already meet a family on our trip and just recommended Scotty’s on their upcoming trip to Munising!

As soon as we arrived we were greeting by the employee to check us in. She was so friendly and nice. She interacted well with our son which was the reason we were on the trip for his birthday. We are from Kentucky and have stayed in alot of hotels along the way and we will definitely recommend your place over other places we have stayed just for the friendliness of your staff.

Excellent motel. Friendly staff. The room was very clean and we had covered parking! There is a sauna and a greenhouse room and a large fire pit with endless wood to burn. Bicycles were available. Beds were comfortable. On a side street in town so quiet and cozy, and easy walks to restaurants. Very short drive to Pictured rocks Park and beaches. We will come back!

Great location within walking distance of restaurants and amenities. We brooked 3 nights but the weather cleared up and we decided to get out a backpack on the NCT. We asked if we could cancel the 3rd night and get a refund - no problem at all.

Great staff that were very helpful. Nice to have a Micro and small refrigerator in room. Great bed, nice towels, and the water was hot. This is an older motel that has been refreshed. Still maintains a quaint charm in a location close to restaurants and grocery.

Scotty's is a quaint little motel. It is located within walking distance of all the restaurants and breweries that Munising has to offer. Our room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. We would stay again.

Great location. Great staff.
I checked the filters in the air conditioner and there was easily ¼” of debris. I cleaned them myself and replaced. It was also a noisy AC unit and made gurgling sounds between kicking in so sleep wasn’t easy.

Staff is amazing. The young lady at the desk, Kaylee? She upgraded us for free cause someone else cancelled whenever she found out we just got engaged. Super friendly and super accepting. Loved her!

The staff made my first impressions wonderful. Between the sauna, the fun little green house to sit in when it was raining and the ability to walk to resurants, I couldn't go wrong.

It was clean. Had an older room, but the beds were comfy.
The water pressure could of been better, and if someone else in another suite turned shower on ours went cold for a few mins
