Location is great. We like being in Canal Park when staying in Duluth. Breakfast was good and typical of what I see for places that include breakfast. I was impressed with all of the staff we encountered. Front desk person that checked us in was great. The gentleman managing the breakfast area was very friendly. We came in midday and were eating caramel apples we had purchased and he offered all 5 of us a cold bottle of water which was completely unexpected. Thank you!

Nothing really comes to mind. You met all of our expectations.

Great location, clean, neat. Enjoyed our view f the lake.

Our check in person could have been more friendly, we felted like we were just a number checking in. Later that night we had to go to the desk for some information and there was a new person there she was so kind and welcoming and was telling new guest more information than what we received at checking in. The same person that checked us in checked us out. She was unfriendly and didn’t even say anything about our stay or even say Hope you enjoyed our time just what’s your room number and that’s all I need and she was off. But the rest of the stay was great.

Lakefront location. Option to have daily cleaning service. Newspaper selection. Fresh coffee. Cookies in the afternoon (though they were often out). To go bags with bagel, apple. Fresh fruit at breakfast.

The eggs/omelettes were disappointing. I believe they are made from powder rather than from fresh eggs. i always want protein for breakfast. Everything else was carbohydrates and sugar or fat. Also, the price for our room was ridiculously high.

Our room was beautiful. The view was outstanding. Our room was comfortable and clean.

Dogs need to be kept on one floor. We didn't appreciate the owner of a dog not cleaning up after it in our hallway to the room. A hotel employee cleaned up after the dog which is disgusting for them to have to do.

The beds and pillows were super comfortable along with the bedding. The view of Lake Superior was fantastic. Breakfast was good and had great variety. Nice location and walkable to the lift bridge and shopping. Staff were super nice. Overall wonderful!

The actual room was kind of small.

The location was excellent! We were able to walk to most of the places that we wanted to go, and it's right by the lake. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great too! The facility was clean and beds were comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again!

Nothing that we didn't like.

The hotel was clean the bathroom was a nice size, it was not too noisy even though we were there for part of the Fourth of July weekend. The location was superb!

The Staff at the front desk left a lot to be desired. At check in the receptionist was combative and gave me the wrong information. The next day the other was on the phone and left me standing for seven minutes without ever acknowledging me even with eye contact.

The breakfast was good some days and better on others. I really like the idea of not cleaning the room when it is not requested.

The walls and floors are not very soundproof. Families with noisy kids stomping around the room really should be kept on the first floor.

The breakfast was good . We had to leave early prior to breakfast hours but it was ready early so we grabbed a small plate to go . Would have liked to enjoy more breakfast time

Elevator floor was absolutely filthy dirty

It was a wonderful stay at the Hampton- such a great way to see Duluth in the heart of Canal Park and on the Lakewalk! There was a lot of details that were nice additions. The view of the lake, the cookies in the evening, the free tea/coffee/bottled water, and the breakfast were wonderful!
