Cleanliness

It is pretty noisy. The walls are paper thin. Gaps in the doors. You can literally hear the neighbors' conversations.

We really appreciate the room layout as it keeps the room quiet. Having a couch between the beds and the bathroom is so smart. The beds are also a little further away from the door. The blackout curtains and the ability to control the thermostat are fantastic. The room is also very clean.

The last two times we stayed breakfast has not been hot. The eggs were cold 3/4 days that we were there. There is no microwave to heat them up again. I also missed having hard boiled eggs which are easier to eat cold. The breakfast buffet has many choices even for someone who must eat gluten free but you need to figure out how to keep the food hot. I believe there was a family above us this time. It was very loud early in the morning. It might be an option to keep families with children on the first floor.

The check in was a breeze, the room was ready and clean. The layout was very inviting. The over all room was very usefully laid out and the bed and pillows were wonderful. The breakfast was just right and loved the pancake machine :)

With everything else looking great it was unfortunate the grout in the bath and entry was dirty and appeared stained. it made the bath and shower area appear unclean and not kept up (black grout always looks moldy wether it is dirt or mold just looks icky and unclean. The signage from the main road off highway was not clear and so entrance was missed the first time.

I had booked another hotel originally, however, when we added guests to our party - this option popped up as a special hidden deal and offered the same room at a lower price and with breakfast available. We were very satisfied with the daily price and offered amenities, We do quite a bit of travel and this is one of the best locations we have stayed. The staff was very friendly and the room was well maintained. We stayed 4 days and had a variety of breakfast choices with same standard items always ready. The location was also very easy to find, park, and get to local options. There is a fitness center, large foyer area for meeting up with people, pool and hot tub (which we used). The parking lot was very large and easy to get around. The room we had was a double/double/pull out option and was nice to have for our "longer" than normal stay. The room was very clean and the TV had a lot of choices. I also loved the option of several charging stations and outlets, and a small desk in the room so that we could work while we stayed and had plenty of areas to plug in. The bathroom was very large and there was a hair dryer and Dove soap/shampoo/conditioner - which was nice to not have to use our travel sizes. The staff was very friendly at check in and anytime we needed anything and they were always pleasant to people we saw in/out of the hotel. The local area was very clean and safe and well lit and several shopping/eating choices within walking distance or a short ride. We didn't use it - but there was a small area for purchasing drinks/snacks and coffee was always free and available. There were Keurigs in the room and a variety of pods.

I had just a couple of minor complaints - the hot water in the shower took about 10 minutes to heat up and use each time we showered, so that was a bit troublesome, thank goodness we weren't in a hurry! We also had asked that a different credit card be used vs. the one we booked with - however, when the charges came through it was on the card we asked NOT to be used - which pulled funds directly vs. later - so we had to make adjustments that way - luckily I check my account several times a day or we wouldn't have noticed and been overdrawn.

Updated, friendly staff, comfortable, excellent breakfast choices, within 30 mins of tons of family friendly activities.... I just have to say whoever cleaned our room and made the couch where my 8 yr daughter slept was exceptionally amazing! She has high hyper adhd so trips at times are very overwhelming for her! I forgot to place the do not disturb sign on our door so I was nervous (she doesn't like her things moved or touch at times) BUT it was beautifully made up with her own blanket on top then her stuffed animal placed nicely on top and her other toys beside it all!!! She was extremely excited and made her nite from an extremely busy hard day plus was one of the hottest days of all summer!!! So I can not THANK YOU ❤️ enough for that detailed eye on creating our room into a home during our stay! We will definitely stay again!!!

The last time I wrote a review, I complained about the breakfast being cold. This time it was hot both days! Thank you! We appreciate how the rooms are laid out so that the sleeping area is as far from the hall as possible. This makes the room very quiet. The ability to control the temperature and the dark-out shade is a bonus.

Kids ran up and down the hall but this wasn't the hotel's problem. They did eventually settle down and we had a good night's sleep.

We always stay at this location. It is a little out of the city but it is quiet and we feel safer than some of the other hotels. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the full breakfast is a great bonus!

Kids screaming and running in the halls at night. Not really the fault of the property. Just wish we were not on the same floor as them. Otherwise it was a great experience. Also was hard to get a handicap spot.

Cleanliness the most. Desk staff was very helpful. Love the dove soaps.

Light bulb out in couch area; one of the usb charging plugs was not working. One of us cannot bend over, it would be great to consider raising the fridge a foot higher.

Location was very quiet and serene with a pond next to. The breakfast was great! Eggs, bacon, sausage, omelettes, pancakes, rolls cereal etc. Many choices for everyone.

I’m wondering where the $2 per day comes in for a safe in the room. Didn’t even know there was one in the room and still don’t know where it is!!!

Just that the morning desk employee didn’t let us know that the shuttle to Mayo broke down and wasn’t coming to get us to take son to Mayo Clinic. I came in asked if there was a number as the shuttle was late and that is when he told me. I suggested they put up a sign or verbally let guests know verbally that if they are coming down for shuttle it wasn’t coming. This in no way a negative reflection upon the hotel itself it was a very very nice hotel and enjoyed the stay
