We stay here a lot, and have for over 10 years. We love it here. However, it has gone down hill somewhat. And starting to show just about everywhere on the property.

I know these have been tough times, and can see you're trying to do a few things to improve the property, but it's going down hill faster than the improvements to keep up. Needs updated really bad, and cleaned up a little better on the grounds. OMG, THE BATH TUBS, REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!! all chipped up and some touch up paint. Looks nasty.

Views are nice, grounds are nice for walking. Gym was nice. Liked that indoor pool was open 24 hours but hot tub wasn't heating. Movie theater was neat.

No shuttle service to beach. We wanted to go but parking lot was full. Shuttle would have been nice. Also we asked what time fireworks were so we could be back for them and they told us 9pm and we were back at 8:45 and we missed them! Also rooms need a microwave. You have to rent one for $20/night?? Ridiculous. Microwaves should be standard.......can't pop a bag of popcorn for a late night snack. dumb in my opinion. Indoor hot tub was not hot, think heater was broken.

We were very impressed with so much about this hotel! The grounds were meticulously manicured, the food at the grille was delicious, our room was roomy, clean and had a great view of the lake and the movie theater was a really fun touch! We really enjoyed our stay and we were very pleased with everything.

The food in the grille was delicious! But quite expensive for the portions. The appetizers were so small and so were the meals. I never finish any meals at restaurants because the portions are usually so large but this evening after two appetizers shared with my husband and my own meal I was still a little hungry. Either way we thought it was delicious and the service was excellent. The only other thing we were a little unhappy about is that we paid extra for a lake view room and the view was wonderful, but we had to enjoy it from outside on the balcony (in the heat) or with the door open because of how the windows on the doors were very cloudy and we couldn’t see outside too well through them.

Location and overall property, bellman are the best and friendliest and most recognized staff.

Staff to check in or for other matters are extremely unfriendly and oftentimes not knowledgeable about the hotel or what’s going on etc. The bellmen make me feel more welcome to come back than any regular staff I have ever encountered and I’ve stayed at the Chateau probably 20 times now. As for room cleanliness, the rooms are straightened up but not cleaned. Always trash behind the trash cans, they are extremely heavy and I move one and found used qtips and tissues and the sides and under beds are never vacuumed.

Great hotel, happy that outdoor pool was open even though website said it wouldn't be until 5/24. Liked movie theater, sweet shop, nearby free parking. Nice sink/coffee setup next to bed.

I was disappointed that my room had such a tiny balcony. Barely room for the 2 chairs. Also, rooms should have microwaves. Room decor somewhat dated in style. Website said "resort fee" included 2 free bottles of water each day, that turned out to be incorrect. Hotel desk said they "switched" to selling bottles of water in the rooms...for $5.50 each!!!

Loved everything about the Chateau.

Loved everything about the Chateau. Only one issue and that was the food. Dining room menu too limited. Not enough choices. Ordered Burgers & Fries to take to room. The burgers were rare and not medium well. They refunded my money but the food was what I really needed. Of course, they offered to recook them but once you bite into rare ground meat you lose your appetite ( it is the texture that causes the loss).

It has great atmosphere with ponds, birds , restaurants and a place to get your sweet tooth satisfied with pastries and ice cream. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We were dissatisfied with the lack of any ice machines on several floors that were not working nor repaired during our 4 nights there. They charge an extra $25 a day to use their amenities and automatically charge your credit card $75 to cover any expenses you incur during your stay but I believe it would be more customer friendly to only charge your card for what you actually spend and not pre charge . It is redacted if you don’t spend anything . The Château is far from anything so you must drive everywhere to see the sights in Branson. Unfortunately, our room was above all the air conditioning units and exhaust fans so our view of the lake was beyond the noise from these units.

It was fine

I was sent a txt the first day (we arrived on Monday) asking how our stay was and on Tues I told them we had noisy neighbors with kids jumping and yelling and nothing was really done about it. Believe the family were above us. We put up with this the entire four nights while there, guess I should have initially requested a quiet room. When we left on Friday the lady at desk didn’t ask us about our stay at all, think she was having a bad day. The rest of the staff seemed very nice and friendly especially those serving breakfast.

The bed was so comfortable!! We slept amazingly both nights. The room was nice and large although we didn’t spent much time in the room.

The hotel pool had a bar outside near the pool for a couple of hours throughout the week but it closed really early (comparatively speaking) and was not available through the weekend. This meant that folks either brought their own or had to go inside the hotel to the restaurant on the 2nd floor just to get drinks.

Fantastic location, great pool and marina. Loved the balcony.

We had toilet issues. They did come by twice to fix it but they were able to fix it quickly, thankfully. We went to see a movie in the hotel theater but they weren’t on time opening it, even after requesting it, so decided to take the kids swimming. They did open the movie later but unfortunately several families left before it was open. This is just feedback for the hotel.
