It was just the perfect staycation for our 30th Anniversary. The location was perfect. It was in the heart of the Blackstone Midtown Crossing area. Downtown was just a few miles away. The pool area was very relaxing and beautiful. Our room with the balcony was clean. It was nice to enjoy breakfast and dinner on the balcony. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast choices were great. We got the package that included breakfast. We ate onsite at the Committee Chophouse. My husband enjoyed his steak. My favorite was the brussel sprouts.
Our Anniversary is around the July 4th holiday. Therefore, unbeknownst to us, The Kimpton is a very popular staycation venue during that time. The pool/bar area was a little crowded for us. We wanted a more relaxing vibe.. If you enjoy a good socially packed atmosphere, you might enjoy it. We would definitely go again, but probably not during a holiday week.

This property was literally one of the best I have ever stayed at and I am someone that travels often. The outside of the building had an older feel but the inside was so well-taken care of and absolutely beautiful. The whole property had a very relaxing vibe to it and great amenities. The pool area was dreamy and the drinks we had from the outdoor bar were delicious. The fitness center was a good size and had a wide variety of equipment. The hotel even provides yoga mats for use that have been cleaned and sanitized. The staff was exceptional and so accommodating. Sam was awesome at getting us checked in quickly and making sure we were all settled. Our room was so cute and the beds were so comfy! We also had several windows and I'm a lover of natural light so it was great throughout the day. We would definitely stay here again!
This hotel was amazing so we don't have any complaints but maybe some know-ahead things: 1. Right now (July '24) there is a lot of construction and some that blocks the main street in front of the hotel from one side. 2. The rooms are pretty dark at night, which is great for sleeping but there was not a lot of light that could be made in the room from the two lamps we had. Bathrooms were very bright but rooms were very dim.

The Orlean’s Bar was fun. Loved the cocktails and staff. The fixtures and decor were elegant. The neighborhood is up and coming. I’m looking forward to see what Blackstone becomes in a couple years.
Lovely stay at a nice hotel. It is starting to show some wear and tear. Little things are starting to add up to wear its luster. For instance, the tiles in our shower were loose and could be pulled from the floor. Door jams were knocked and chipped. Nothing major but collectively they took away from an otherwise gorgeous hotel.

Pull up to the building to valet and are greeted by a beautiful lobby, it was rainy and there was a warm fire going. The staff was amazing, could simply text them and they would take care of anything we needed. Amazing area to stay in, plenty of places within walking distance. We did not dine at the restaurant within the hotel but the smells coming from there were amazing. Rooms are super clean and very nice.
The pillows...so so so soft...almost too soft, only thing I would change.

Beautiful, clean location. Even with hosting a wedding the venue was very quiet. Loved that they had multiple places to work and eat from. Staff was extremely friendly. Even the coffee shop gals were willing to help with questions! Would 100% come back.
Sometimes there were limited dining options in the afternoon and later evening hours.

The entire atmosphere/vibe was fantastic. We stayed for the 2nd Annual Wine and Whisky Tasting, which was very well done, simple, classy, and fun. Our room was great (standard king), bed very comfortable, decor modern and fitting. I loved the art throughout the hotel. The bar in the lower level is a must see. Breakfast and all staff, from front desk, valet, servers, bartenders were amazing.

We thought the location was convenient for our schedule. Most places we wanted to see were within 15 minutes drive from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and check in/check out being very efficient. We loved the overall "motif" of the hotel and found it very clean. It was great to have a few options in the hotel for eating and really liked coffee being available in the lobby area early.
Not much to comment on, but I wish the chair in our room was more comfortable, but the bed was fine.

This is the third time I stayed at the Cottonwood and I would say it is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. It doesn't really feel like a hotel and I like the architecture and environment.
I would say that the breakfast there is okay but could be kicked up a notch.

Beds are incredible.
Expensive parking - $35/night for valet and $25/night for parking across the street. Sink did not drain properly. No coffee service in room - need to call for espresso machine delivery or room service coffee.
