Coffee was ready each of the two mornings at 6:00 am as advertised. Good coffee too. Great location in Elko for getting on/off freeway and finding food. The person at the counter was very nice, very helpful. He allowed me to pick a downstairs room. The TV selection was good.

The room is old/dated. The floors are REALLY spongy and it felt as though I might fall through (even on the ground floor). The toilet was SO CLOSE to the door and bathtub I had to really squeeze in there to take a number 2. Needs a hand held shower head so I could use less water and actually rinse the soap off.

Despite how it looks on the outside, the inside is surprisingly tidy and looks renovated? It's one of those rare Days Inn where the inside looks way better than how the outside looks. I know they dont have real breakfast here, but we were leaving at dawn so it didn't really matter anyways.

As seems to be a pattern with Days Inn, the outside of the motel is a bit shabby and in need of updating, however the room is much nicer inside than the outside would indicate. Very nice sized room, clean and comfortable. I have not had the breakfast yet but saw in the lobby where it would be available in the morning. They do not have a breakfast room so it's either grab and go or take it back to your room to eat which is ok with me. I did not see where they will offer any hot items, it looked like only bagels, yogurt, maybe fruit and coffee. The manager seemed nice and was very helpful when I had trouble getting my room door open. Operator error on my part but he didn't rub it in! LOL There is a wonderful restaurant right next door. I ordered a rib eye steak dinner. The price was $38.95 plus tax. The steak was tasty, thick and HUGE. The meal came standard with soup (Clam Chowder since it was a Friday), salad, bread, baked potato, green beans, rice and spaghetti! Everything was delicious except the spaghetti which had an odd sauce on it that tasted like pork and beans to me. Their menu had many choices including a number of seafood options, lamb, pork among them. The staff provided outstanding service.

Outside of the building is shabby and located on a busy highway. Quite a bit of traffic noise but quieted down later in the evening.

The room was clean and neat. Everything was neat and tidy. The tables and desk were in good locations and useful. It was very impressive.

The motel is located on a very busy and very loud street. It is difficult to ignore the noise at night since the trucks begin roaring down the street at about 3:00 AM.

Stayed twice in two weeks. Other than the person on the top floor making a lot of noise it was a great place to stay. The person at the desk was very nice.

NO sleep button on the TV. The toilet was in a CRAMPED location.

On ground floor, car right outside my door - easy to get my stuff in and back out again the next morning. Very comfy, great amenities, extra bits if needed (refer, iron and ironing board, etc.) Best value for my money of any domestic hotel I've stayed in (including international travel in that statement).

Not trying to be picky, but the door was off or something - had a gap big enough at the bottom to let light through; outside voices were easier to hear. It wasn't an issue later at night - Elko's Idaho Street is pleasantly quiet at night.

The location is perfect and easy to navigate to and from. There are several restaurants within an easy walking distance. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. The sheets were fresh and super clean smelling. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

The upstairs guest was loud and the floors were noisy and creaky when they walked on them. The continental breakfast is meager but for the price point, I'm not really complaining about that.

A first for me -- this Days Inn in Elko rates a Perfect 10!!! ... The best hotel for price paid so far on my two+ months road trip! The very nice man in the office (from Fiji!) was truly remarkable in his welcoming and helpful attitude. I can NOT speak highly enough about this hotel. Absolutely a top-notch, well run and managed respite for any weary individual traveller or family. Amenities were exceptional and plentiful. It is not a reach for me to believe that after recent Covid-era cost increases, this fine hotel is LOSING money in pleasing the guest clients. Yes, really!

Absolutely, positively NOTHING negative to say. ZERO COMPLAINTS!

it says it’s a three star I’d say it’s a 2 1/2 star or close to a three star depending on the room, but for the value it’s a great deal it’s still was clean and comfortable
