This hotel is in a great location if you are going to Lake Tahoe for the first time. You are just minutes away from the Gondola and many shops and restaurants as well as other casinos. You don't have to drive everywhere if you need to purchase something. There is a 24-hour CVS pharmacy and a couple of restaurants open all night as well. The hotel is a short-walk from the Lakeside beach (only one mile away) and you can definitely enjoy the walk and the view without having to drive there. There are tons of options to move around including renting bikes and/or electric scooters through a mobile app. We were in a smoking room and the floor was quiet. Going at the end of September helps you explore many areas with way fewer people around but the Gondola was closed for the season. I would also recommend to go Virgina City and Reno, Nevada as well. It is just a one-hour drive from Lake Tahoe.

The staff was efficient but not super friendly. Be prepared to pay all the extra resort fees and taxes that are included in your final bill. They don't have room service at the moment (end of Sept. 2023) so if you get hungry later, you will need to get out of the hotel to grab something to eat. The shower in the bathroom was really small (just a shower head and no extension) and the water pressure was not strong at all but you can take a shower fine but it would be nice to have an actual nice big shower in a hotel that charges you all the resort fees. No bathtub in the room but maybe this is safer due to health matters or Public Health Safety measures.

Very nice area and wonderful facilities

Ended up charging more than had signed up for. Charge $40 per room for 2 rooms per day and had one car. For parking .They told me after I asked it's for each room,car or not was not informed on that. Also increased my resort tax more than was advertised on booking.com

We loved everything: - The room was nice and clean, with a huge bathroom - The staff was super friendly, caring, and helpful. We were staying in Vegas just two days earlier and it was such a striking contrast to the tired and borderline rude receptionists of the two hotels on the Strip that we stayed at. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, lovely people working at Bally's! - Great dining options without having to leave the hotel: the food was delicious and affordable, the choices were varied, the staff was awesome. - The indoor pool was "the best we've ever seen" according to my two children :). It is pleasantly warm, deep, and beautiful. There's also a hot tub that has three different areas with varying temperature! And on a Monday morning we had it all to ourselves. Yay!

Nothing to complain about. We initially were placed in a smoking room by mistake, but they moved us to a different room right away, without a wrinkle - very efficient and helpful staff.

We really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The staff at the reception is very friendly and very helpful, they gave us a lot of great tips and recommendations. The room was great, very large, at the top floor and with an amazing view of Lake Tahoe. The casino is small but very nice. You actually have the time and space to play a table game, if you like that, and interact with the dealers. The location is great and still close to all the other nature attractions around Lake Tahoe. It was my first time at Lake Tahoe, and the hotel experience contributed to the fun we had there.

I liked the shower room the most. The bathrooms seem to be new, and they have done an amazing job! So spacious. The room was lovely. Not a fan of carpet in any place I stay but this was ok. I would have preferred a view of the lake, but the lady had trouble finding one, so we just stuck with the side view of mountain. Some small issues with the lift, they definitely need more. Heard lots of complaints around check-out time just trying to get down. Gym was well equipped and the pool was a good bit of fun. Pool a bit cold, jacuzzi a bit hot but everyone's preference is different, right?. Wish I had time to try the escape room and axe throwing. Overall, this was a lovely hotel and would 100% definitely stay again.

More lifts if possible

You guy's exceeded our expectations, Sal and Francisco were amazing. We are making this hotel a yearly visit! Room was beautiful, clean and the view was spectacular. We had the endless pasta bowls in restaurant, food was so delicious. Indoor pool was fantastic too! Cant find one thing to complain about! Thank you Bally's!!!!

My wife and I could not find anything to complain about. We are very particular and you guys get 5 stars from us. Cant wait to come back! :-)

We enjoyed the hot tub, the pool and the restaurant. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very clean. The arcade was great for my granddaughter!

First of all the picture on this app is completely deceiving! This picture makes it look like Ballys stands alone, with a beautiful view of the lake and that’s not the case! I feel completely deceived by this picture and probably would’ve booked a hotel closer to the lake.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of towels. Beautiful view of the mountains

The shower head had no pressure, took far too long to rinse off. The round table in the room was very wobly and unsafe. Three of four elevators were down when checking out and the wait was 30 mins. No communication to our rooms letting us know. Need much better communication. There should of been someone at each floor advising of this or communications sent to your cell.

The bed, linens, etc were exceptional. Very comfortable and fresh. We had a very top floor room and the view out over the lake was amazing. The pool was quite nice and very refreshing. The shower was lovely and huge!

The hot tub wasn't working and after the long drive would have been really appreciated. The main dining room wasn't open that night, so food choices were limited. The interior on the main floor was a bit dark, but then, it is a casino......

The staff at the Ciera steakhouse in the casino were absolutely wonderful. The room was nice and we could tell that it was a non smoking room. It did not stink

FYI I couldn't tell if there was a tub, there wasn't. In the pics it looked like there was a balcony/slider but it wasn't mentioned in the room description, there wasn't. It looked like there used to be, but was no longer operational. The website said there were massages available in the spa, but when we got there we were told that they don't have massages
