We loved the s’mores, the bohemian vibe around the fire pits and the size of the room.

our room didn’t have a window (only 1 single patio door) so our room was extremely dark. the pool area was full of pine needles, and should have been swept frequently throughout the day and there is no in-room cleaning so you are paying hotel prices but making your own bed every day. And finally, the bar only stocks wine, a small variety of IPA and some other canned spritzers - there are no spirits .. so no chance of a G&T

centrally located, beautiful property with an outdoor fireplace. walking distance to the heavenly gondola and loads of food options! we loved the nightly camp fires and s’mores, and the good selection of drinks/coffee at the bar and lounge for breakfast everyday

rooms were a tight squeeze for 3 people + a dog. unfortunately there was no daily housekeeping so the room did get a little bit dirty after a 3 full days worth of skiing/snow shoeing. would be nice to have more hooks on the wall for guests to hang wet clothes because there wasn’t sufficient space!

The decor was trendy, modern, eclectic, phenomenal location (walking distance to center), quiet and lots of relaxing indoor and outdoor seating areas. The pool and jacuzzi area is quaint and relaxing with the lighting especially at night! They offer free pool towels and it’s right next door to the bar, food and fire pit areas.

If you’re looking for complete quiet at night, you’re not going to get it with the thin walls, but for us, we like the hustle and bustle of people! Also, keep in mind where you stay because they have accommodations across the street which I hear are very nice but further away (very short walk) from their main amenities.

Hotel was great, I love the design on the common areas which makes everyone socialize and have a good time. Also the evenings eating s'mores was a plus and the private beach for sunsets was amazing! Also the kitchen was great to gather at night and have dinner or breakfast. The location was great, close to everything.

We had a small window and curtain was too thin and sun in the mornings was beautiful but strong and unable to get full sleep, but overall is a great hotel.

Location is superb and has a cozy vibe! staff was also super attentive. It has really the mountain vibes, we enjoyed our stay. The Smores in the evening is a nice touch - it would have been even better with 2 fire pits and more chairs to acommodate more guests. But it’s 100% a place I would recommend.

We travelled with my in-laws and my father in-law had an important meeting early in the morning eith Europe. We tañked to people at reception, but the hotel had no facilities before 7h am - when reception is open. I think it doesn’t impact people on holidays, but is not friendly for remote work and maybe an important factor to keep in mind if you plan to work during your stay.

We loved the location because it was away from majority of the tourists. It was mostly quiet.

One of the vents was really dusty. It looked like it has not been dusted and cleaned for months. We had to wipe down a lot of dust away with our own clorox wipes. There were not enough trash bins. And the TV did not work. They had an apple tv remote but it did not let us choose or select a different setting or even choose regular cable tv setting. I also wish they had a better selection for breakfast items. The waffle was excellent but not the breakfast burritos, unfortunately.

We liked the location. It was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The AC in the room was amazing, but didn’t need it often. It was very quiet, no noise to speak of.

For the price we would have expected to be in the main complex of this motel. Instead, we were across the street in a second complex. There is no coffee machine in these rooms, some water glasses, but no mugs even. You have to cross the street to reach the complimentary coffee and tea areas. Their main complex is quite nice. We were not aware there were two areas to this hotel. The nearby beaches had fees to enter.

So much to love: the communal bar/cafe area where people gather for a beer, to play games, or just read by the fireplace. The outdoor fire-pit with s'mores was fun, especially covered in snow! The rooms are so stylish and cozy with all the basic needs, the location is fantastic (just a few blocks to the lake), and extra points for being pro-dog (love the dog guest book!). The staff was friendly and gave great restaurant recommendations.

Not really anything other than the upstairs guests being really loud at 2am with their boots on, but I think that is standard acoustics in some of these motor lodges. When I mentioned it to the person at reception, they were nice enough to offer me a slightly later checkout. All in all, the experience was great.

We’ve stayed at the Coachman several times but this was the first time staying at the new building across the street. We loved it! it has the same cool and cozy vibe of the “old” rooms, but with a little more space and a nice balcony! We never stayed in any other hotel as many times as we stayed at the Coachman, and the reason why we always come back (I think this was the 7th time) is because it has it all: it’s super cozy, it’s chill, it has a super cool lobby/patio to hang out at, welcoming and great staff, clean and comfortable rooms, really good complimentary coffee, fair rate, walking distance from bars and restaurants… it’s just the perfect getaway and it never gets old! Plus, it’s in Tahoe… beautiful all year round!

Beautiful community spaces we enjoyed very much. Very friendly and helpful staff. The property is truly welcoming. We enjoyed the coffee, hot chocolate and smores! The pool was heated. Community spaces were clean. We loved the day passes to the private beach too!

The only hiccup we had were the twin beds - the mattress were very thin and wore down, you could feel each of the springs from the top. We had to call for extra bedding to pad them before our daughters could sleep. If those were replaced, there would be no complaints from us!
