I recently stayed at big pine mountain motel and had an excellent experience. The location is superb—it's close to the center, within walking distance to restaurants, and just a 5-minute drive to the beach. The room was good, and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful upon our arrival. They made sure we had a room that accommodated our family's needs. I appreciate their service and highly recommend this motel for anyone looking for a budget-friendly option to enjoy Tahoe with their family.

My mom and I recently had an emergency situation come up. And we found this motel near Stateline. When we got here we were emotional and exhausted and we literally collapsed for a few days. The staff here is incredible! They’re kind and accommodating and the couple that run the motel are gracious and caring and very good at their job. We’ve actually become friends. If anyone I know wants to come to Tahoe I will send them here. The beds are comfortable and I live with chronic pain. The rooms are big and clean. There are little fridges and microwaves so you can keep your food or leftovers fresh and they have nice televisions if those things are important to you. If you’re used to staying at a hotel or a luxury accommodation, this may not be the place for you. However, if you want a clean, comfortable and safe place to be. This is it!!! We actually stayed one night in another motel and we came back because we felt safe here. I just love the staff, as I stated and would not stay in another motel. There’s a pool and it’s family and pet friendly. Stay here… stay here! You’ll be happy you did

To whom it concerns: we came to the Big Pines late at night tired and travel worn from a long day.. We were greeted by Iftee and his wife. Can't say enough about how professional both he and his wife were and how quickly we were accommodated to our room! Our stay at your motel was very pleasant and we can't say enough for Iftee and his wife who were kind enough to bring extra towels, and answer all are questions. Thank you, we will be back. It’s really close to convenient stores, gas stations, restaurants and downtown Staff really friendly, helpful, accommodate to your needs

Our room had no outlets for phone charging the ones that worked and available were in the bathroom or connected to the microwave/fridge already

Ana was delightful. Easy check in. Family paid for our stay but was not with us. We did not have to show a credit card and we're thankful. The card holder was not with us and does not travel due to age. So that was helpful for our family.

The bathroom was way to small. In the 45+ years I have gone to Tahoe we never paid for beach passes. This year we got to the beach and they told us quote un quote " we offer either vouchers or passes... The big Pines chose the vouchers over the passes. So it costs to enjoy something that is free.. I am native and that is insane to charge for mother nature. To enjoy what God put here. No they don't watch the beach better there. People feed the birds it's isad because they people at that beach are usually drunk and act awful because they think they have more money.

it was good it’s close to everything, the kids love the place and it’s good that they have pots to cook .

we did stay 3nights but they didn’t allow housekeeper while you check in which is we us for cleaning our room .it’s 4 burner but it’s just 2 are working so my husband had to fix it to work the 4 burner .

It was very clean !! The staff helped me with an issue that I recommend everyone to stay here !!! So happy and they made my vacation even better … Thank you to the staff of the Big Pine mountain motel !!!! A . Taylor

We loved the convenient location and friendly staff. Room was comfortable and spacious. Only thing lacking was there was no breakfast, but there were many good restaurant close by. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

It was within easy walking distance of all the restaurants, coffee/taphouses and other South Lake fun. The beds were super comfortable to sleep in.

The fridge door didn’t close well. A bigger coffee maker would have been better. No noise control after 10pm.

The location is great and within walking distance from the casinos and Heavenly Village, . The rooms and amenities were good. We highly recommend this place and will stay there again !
