I was happy to see the updated white bedding and curtains. It seems the whole room was updated and the bathroom was spacious. It was nice to have a large kitchenette even though the room wasn’t too big! It was very clean and comfortable.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful and accommodating to our needs. The pool and hot tub are very nice. It is a short walk to both the beach and the center of town as we hardly used our car. We are repeat visitors here because The Beach Club on Madison Avenue is a great place to stay in Cape May.

We understand that this property is going through buy/sell and will be remodeling in next few months however, the room we stayed in could use a few updates until then. The current rug could use a good cleaning and both the bedroom and bathroom doors wouldn't close all the way. Having stayed at the Madison a bunch of times prior we were ok with this room, but these issues may cause new visitors to think twice about coming back if they are unaware of the upcoming updates.

I liked that the living room, kitchen, and bedroom were all separated. I also like how close the place is to the beach and the shopping street!

The couch was uncomfortable. The refrigerator wasn’t cold enough, so food went bad.

It's really a great hotel for the price. It's not in the center of town, but that doesn't bother me. The staff is always friendly & helpful. The rooms are currently fresh & clean.

My main issue with this hotel is that the beds always lean down hill from foot to head. I know this sounds odd, but in every room that I've stayed in here the beds are all the same. The mattresses are fine, they just lean down hill toward the headboard. Very odd and honestly it's a bit annoying. I always end up using the extra pillows to put under the mattress (at the head) to level it out. Maybe the hotel is on down hill slant .... I haven't been able to figure it out. Other than that, Great place to stay for the price : )

Everything was as expected but I noticed because of staff shortages the shower around bottom of trim needed cleaning. Wasn't a big issue but others may complain. The closet in bathroom is shallow so using hangers you cannot close the door. And this is my 4th time staying @ Madison Ave and I wish there was some sort of table or small chest in the bathrooms. It may not be your responsibilty but the curb at the exit is very rough to get to the street. That maybe a city ordinance so now I am aware I take care because my car sits low.

OOPs I put my opinion in the wrong block! I do love how quiet the area is and and how friendly people are. I appreciate the outside ash trays also! We will be returning again next season God willing!

location and the Hot tub were really nice. Enjoyed my stay the location is quite convenient within 5 blocks from shopping eating and the beach side.

Nothing really wrong since the accomations Such as Ice machine only one floor. It is moderate small motel. I feel since it is small. They ought to get others small ones to work together as one. This would possibly help provide more services.

The pool was well maintained ed and enjoyable. The facility was less than a mile .... easy walk or bike ride to the beach. At the of Madison Ave., across from the beach was Harry's Roof top bar that had music and great bar food, so you could go right off the beach to either go to the bathroom or have lunch, etc. The motel was close to Washington Street and otrestaurants that you could walk to them.

At their pool, they need more umbrellas .... only one. The location of the ice machine needs some cleaning up. It looks a little seedy .... not too bad, but it definitely not to usual standards. The metered parking sucks .... couldn't get the app working, so called ... that didn't work ... was now getting late for my dinner reservations, o left to secure .... came back and had a ticket .... ugh. My friend had the same trouble at rhe Beach meter .... fortunately close enough to breakfast place to get change.... not good advertising for Caoe May.

Surprisingly, it was my 1st stay in Cape May. The Location was a short walk/drive to the beach, shopping, restaurants & the sights. The Front Desk Staff, Kirsten was Exceptional - Accommodating, Courteous, Engaging & Professional. My Room was PERFECT - Very Clean & Comfortable. The Heater was GREAT ! My Stay was during an unseasonal weather snap. I will definitely return to Cape May again.

The WEATHER !

This was our third stay at the Madison Avenue Beach Club. The location is great, out of the hubbub but close enough to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although our room had a definite musty smell. Comfortable bed and good sized bathroom, all was clean and in working order.

Definite musty smell in our room this time. Other than that all was great.

The price was great for a Saturday night. It’s a short drive to the restaurants and grocery shop. Room was equipped with fridge, microwave , coffee pot and silverware.

When we checked in There was leftover food from the last guests that was not cleaned out of the fridge. The room seem cleaned but there was a bleach cleaner odor the was strong. When we checked in and got into the room there was a huge discolored bleach spot on the carpet. Not sure if that’s why
