The location is exceptional. The beach is right across the street, almost all of the restaurants we tried were literally a 6-8 min walk. We enjoyed two trolley tours (day and night), a mansion tour, dolphin sunset cruise, Washington St. mall and the Wildwood Boardwalk. Even squeezed in a trip to the very efficient Rio Grand NJ Motor Vehicles office. This hotel's location makes all of these adventures a breeze. We appreciated always having available parking too. My highest compliments go to the staff. All front desk people were super friendly plus, I had made a mistake in booking my reservation and the front office bent over backwards to fix this for me. I greatly appreciated how graciously they handled this (especially since the messed up reservation was my fault). Combination of excellent location and exceptional service makes this a place where we will return to in the future.
I felt that the price was high - I understand the value of the great location but the room itself was just ok.

Location is excellent, walked everywhere. Staff very friendly, helpful. The room and hotel were very clean, and beds super comfy. Kitchenette looked stocked (pots/plates/glasses etc,) but did not use much. Liked the rocking chairs on balcony. The pool/restaurant looked nice, but did not get a chance to use.
The balcony, was very small , pictures made the balcony and sitting area seem a lot bigger. We were able to walk everywhere, but seemed limited on parking, so did not want to lose our spot.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was so nice to have a heated outdoor pool and hot tub available even in October. The air was slightly chilly, but the pool temperature was perfect. The location can't be beat - ocean views from every room yet just a short walk away from all the shops downtown. Breakfast is very reasonably priced and you can bring it to your room to enjoy on your balcony. We'll definitely be back!
The parking situation might seem daunting at first, but there are actually 2 lots behind the hotel, one is further back behind another building. First floor rooms are pet friendly, so you might hear occasional barking.

Proximity to beach (you only have to cross the road), and within walking distance of restaurants, town center, and activities. The room was very comfortable and clean and looks like the bathroom was fairly recently updated. It also had a little kitchenette with a microwave, cutlery, dinner ware, sink, small fridge, and coffee machine. The balcony also faced the beach so we had lovely mornings and evenings watching and hearing the waves. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The bar below can get quite noisy for folks who don’t fancy music during their evenings and if they go to bed early. We enjoyed it quite frankly and were able to sip a glass of wine sitting in our balcony while enjoying the live music below. The pool was small and was cold. But nothing you can’t get over.

Love the Barefoot Grill that is attached to the hotel. The hotel is perfect. It is in the middle of everything and so clean. Even the pool and spa was impeccably clean. I enjoy this place. Wish it was a bit cheaper. Price is right for the area. But I can only afford one night.
Price is high. Which it was a little more affordable. I understand because of location and the great service and cleanliness but can only stay one night. Little steep. Especially in the summer.

Outdoor bar towels elevator food all were good. Staff helpful. Issues encountered but hotel management refunded 1 night charge for inconvenience.
The in room phone didn't work was told keeping a list of rooms with same issue and will be fixed over the winter. Common area had condensation dripping from ceiling. Needed to leave overhead fan running and set to 72 degrees.

The room was nice and neat. We were surprised by the mini kitchenette in our room and the extra space with the couch and balcony. The price was doable and we liked the location since it was right in the middle of everything so we walked to all our destinations. We liked Cape May :)
Pillows in the rooms could be more comfortable and we saw ants around the sink in the kitchen which was unappealing. It also smelled like bleach in every hallway so it might be a good idea to use nicer smelling cleaning products. Our door to our room would not close and we had to pull it shut each time we went out that was a big struggle.

We knew the room was small, which didn't concern us for one night. But the layout was great, especially the window to the balcony. Everything was clean and attractive. Although the bathroom fixtures were old, they were well maintained. Shower was great.
It was a bit noisy. could be because we were near the elevator. The room heat/ac unit was loud also.

A good hotel all rooms with sea views . Cooking facilities . The bar is on the front of the property we were 3 floors above which was a little intrusive but also entertaining at times . Good parking .Fabulous views .
They should advise you to use the Barefoot bar to get there , using directions from the booking ap takes you to the wrong place 15 mins away. The decoration is a bit tired and grubby .

The location was excellent. It is a relatively older hotel in Cape May, but well kept and maintained. The room included all that you would need for an enjoyable stay. The staff was professional and courteous.
A couple of items, but not material. #1 -- it is a relatively older building so if you like staying in brand new places you may be disappointed (I personally like the charm of the hotel); and #2 -- It is one of the nicer hotels on the beach so it could be pricey in the summer.
