The rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated. The mattress was very comfortable and lots of pillows to choose. The bathroom was very nicely remodeled with a walk-in shower. Appreciated body wash, shampoo, hair dryer, fridge, microwave and coffee maker being provided. Nice to have the option to borrow the bikes. Front office staff was super friendly. The air filter in the room was also great to have.

Parking was an issue. It said 1 space per room but it seems some may have had more than 1. Spaces are also very tight. We were a little surprised to find that dogs are not allowed on the rooftop terrace since it's a dog friendly hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 3:45pm but the code to the room didn't work until 4pm. I understand it's electronically programmed that way but it would be nice if the room is ready that access could be given early.

The location was excellent. The decor was stylish and amenities including bikes and beach passes were all great. The bed was huge and very comfortable and most of all, the Boarding House was dog friendly.

The pillows were flat. Housekeeping would be better every other day rather than every three (for stays of more than three nights), particularly as the place is dog friendly.

The room was squeaky clean, the bed was very comfortable, and much information was supplied in the guide. The shower is spacious and easy to use. Our host in the reception was friendly and informative. We enjoyed tasting one of the wines he offered. We also liked the rooftop patio that looks out at trees and sky. We don't have a dog, but there was no sign of dogs having been in the room.

I can't think of anything to improve.

Was walking distance to eateries, shopping and a supermarket.Was able to walk our dog in a field across the street.Room was comfy, clean.Morning coffee and happy hour were nice.

The bed was too soft for my and hubby’s liking. It felt like sleeping on a large feather pillow that sunk in, was hard to get out of and to turn in bed.

Everyone in other rooms nearby was very super friendly, Ambiance was great, everything was very convenient including the parking right out front room, the 30 ft walk to the room, no check-in or stopping in office, just parked and entered digital door code that was sent to me day prior and that was it. Rooms were very clean, modern, comfortable, and all Decor is very well done with nice finishing touches. Bathroom is also very nice with a walk in shower that never lost hot water

I personally felt that it was very comfortable but my companion you stayed in the second queen bed next me thought the mattress was uncomfortable. Seems to be a memory foam mattress that really conforms to your body and sucks you in so to speak. This is probably the main selling point and a great feature to most people, I can see how it would be tougher to turn over or get out of potentially due to the fact that really hugs your body.

They literally thought up everything that someone would need while staying in Cape May. The staff were exceptional and extremely helpful. I would recommend the Boarding House to anyone who wants to stay in Cape May.

Parking in the lot is a little tight and limited, but there is ample street parking on Lafayette.

Very clean, have everything we needed in room. Love the accommodations including beach towels, complimentary beach chairs and umbrella , coffee in the morning, even includes Happy Hour for Beer and drinks! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful very knowable hosts. Liked the refreshments upon arrival. Liked morning coffee. Liked the ability to have beach tags and bikes. The roof deck was nice. Dog friendly was a big plus. With open space a cross the street and a dog park 1/2 block away.

Room was beautiful, staff was very friendly. Happy hour was wonderful after coming off the busy roads after the holiday!

There was non stop dog barking, we knew it was pet friendly, but the barking was so loud we couldnt hear TV and left for a bit came back and Dog was still barking.

The room was exceptionally comfortable. Extras like free bike use, pour over coffee in the room, more coffee in reception and happy hour with local brews and wine were nice touches. Most importantly Chet was a terrific host with spot on tips for dinner and cocktails.
