Quality price ratio is amazing at this hotel as you are getting a nice hotel room at a decent price. The main disadvantage, the location (apparently far from Manhattan, NY) is resolved very nicely by the bus that has a stop right in front of the hotel. Paying 3.50$ for a less than 40 minutes (at rush time) or around 20 minutes otherwise trip to Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan, New York, which is very close to Times Square, is simply amazing. Room was what you expect at this kind of motel style hotel, the area around is ok even at night and there are a couple of restaurants right across the street. The reception staff was very friendly and they kept their promise to return the deposit quickly.

5 days stay and there was no room cleaning during this period, change of the towels and anything related.

The staff was really polite really chill place no bothers. Everybody is out for the day and back for the night. Felt safe as a woman alone for a week. Nice view on water with picnic bench and ducks. Always a place to park your car.

Stayed a week in dirty sheets I asked to change them they put me on schedule to change then and an other time to clean the room but both days they did not come. The room it self is in a dark spot, in a U shape and I was facing inside the U, so not the brightest , I could not open the curtains because there was always curious ppl looking in the room when passing by or hanging around the room(most days i was out not not a biggie). Bathroom was nice but a bit dirty (you know many ppl have come before you. You always know but it's fun the have an illusion that you are the first to use it or no trace of previous host)

I really don't get all the negative reviews about this hotel. It was spotless clean, no "roaches" or spiders, floor was clean (yes, old carpet, but clean), clean sheets, clean bathroom, comfortable pillows, huge bed. I was terrified by the reviews and was ready to make a fuss about the service, but everything was amazing. Oh, cleaning service.every.day.

OK, it's not the newest building with the most modern facilities, but it servises its purpose, that is to relax after a long day in the city. Also, for non driving peeps, mind you that the bus is 20mins away, so yeah, this can be a put off.

I had a king bed room and it was clean. I could have the room cleaned as often as I wanted or skip it and just get clean towels or whatever I needed everybody was very friendly except for maybe just one of the desk clerks very little bit of an attitude but maybe she just had a bad day. But I like this place is a good value I see two weeks

My stay was for 6 days I asked the housekeeper for supplies on my 3 day she was very rude and unprofessional her exact work “ stop bothering me ask the front desk for towels”

There was no breakfast. The location was close to the train station and American Dream Mall.

We used the elevator and on the first floor it opened next the laundry room, so sometimes we had to maneuver around the large carts for dirty laundry.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The room and the grounds were clean. We noticed maintenance folks everywhere making minor updates to the property which is always a good sign.

Just be aware, this particular location allows pets, but the pet friendly rooms are in a separate part of the building which is fine. They closed their lobby and all transactions had to be performed through a little window in a side room with the vending machines. Not sure why that was the case (covid and/or safety) but it was a little odd at this particular location and this stage of covid. This is a 3 floor motel style building with all the doors outside. I believe this location is supposed to have an elevator, but I did not see one.

Very good place to stay at a very reasonable price for the area. Room was very comfortable and plenty of transport routes are available to NYC from the hotel.

The vending machines are very unreliable and sometimes did not dispense the products that I purchased after paying for them.

I lived there for over two weeks. Everything was fine. If I came to New York next time, I would choose this hotel. Affordable price for an eastern european. I had a room facing the river and beautiful greenery outside the window. I recommend

The staff were so kind, the room was spotless with a great view of the river. Loved the location, felt very safe and nice and quiet and not too far from new york but just enough to leave the hassle and bustle in the evenings.
