The motel was very close by car to the center of the town, and the parking place was sufficient. The owners were very nice and helpful, the room was big, and it was good to have a microwave in the room. The shower was good, too - hot water is coming with a bit of wait (I saw this being mentioned in other reviews, so I found it important to mention that we had no problem with it).

The AC was indeed noisy, but I saw it in several places around the area. The checkout is also 10.30, despite what is written on Booking, or even in the room. This was not an issue for us as we left earlier, but please count with this. We also encountered with a very loud and aggressive guest who was shouting at 2am and didn't let us sleep. This is unfortunate, and not the fault of the motel, however this may be part of the motel experience around the world.

It’s very close to the mountain and minutes away from New York restaurants! Where the motel sits is extremely private and exceptionally quiet. I LOVED THAT! We had a snow storm and they cleared out the snow in a timely matter. A plus was the heater was hot, so we were comfortable throughout our two night stay and our ski gear dried over night, another plus was they allow pets. This place as perfect as I may have made it seem, has its negatives! However for the price we will definitely return.

Early check in allowed but late check out is not! We were woken up at exactly 11am and forced out! Theres no phone in the room only in front of the office so you have to leave your room and walk a few steps to ask for extra towels and such, which you will need as you’re provided with basically nothing. The staff is just one kind older gentleman who barely speaks English. Something to take note of is the motel is at the top of a STEEP hill, during a snowstorm an average car won’t make it up. Also the soda machine only gives back coins not bills and it also gave us the wrong soda.

Ate breakfast in Vernon at the Crystal Springs restaurant. Great breakfast, a lovely restaurant. We were here for a wedding the next day in Warwick NY but would love to come back to explore more of this beautiful area. Met a coupe leaving the motel who were getting back on the Appalachian trail. They started in Georgia months ago and will end in Maine.

The motel doesn't have drawers for storing clothes so you will need to leave your suitcase open. Very clean, great shower, nice owners. The bed was a little harder than what we usually sleep on so my back hurt in the morning until we got moving around.

The room was clean. The room had all the modern conveniences that a traveling hotel needed. We also liked the proximity to the Appalachian Trail.

We are hiking the Appalachian Trail. We have no vehicle. It was a bit remote for someone who did not have a vehicle. The charge of 10$ for laundry per person was a bit much. It was cheaper for us to go out and get an Uber.

Nice, friendly, scenic, clean, comfortable, affordable, helpful manager, great location, easily accessible to restaurants, fast-food, gas stations, drug stores, Mountain Creek, and just about anything else I can think of. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The location was perfect for our needs about a mile from the Appalzchian Resort. For a small motel that I'm guessing was run by a couple. They seemed to do e everything themselves the room was clean & comfortable. Lots of outlets with USB ports. Hair dryer, mini fridge, coffee all bonus.

Confirmation said checkout at 11. He wanted us out at 10:30. We needed to.be out by 10:30 so no matter. But didn't like that.

I was using a walker, but every one of their rooms are handicapped accessible, which is great for me.

They have an air conditioner/heater that is very noisy and was turning on and off every 20 minutes. Other than that, you can't beat the price.

It was below freezing outside. The heating unit was effective but noisy. And it took a long time for wam water to reach unit at first. Probably both would have been fine with more normal temperatures.

The location was convenient to my sister's house. The owner was polite and responsive.

The wall unit for AC was not working properly. The buttons did not always respond to your input, and at some point it turned off for hours. When I finally got it back on, it stayed no cooler than 75º.

Very comfy rooms, updated bathrooms. Easy to have instacart and doordash deliveries, as we didn’t have a vehicle, we are Appalachian Trail hikers.

Language barrier a little difficult but very patient and kind proprietors!
