Simple location to find, next to a dollar general and small restaurants. Clean entrance and breakfast area. Our room was clean except the real deep clean most hotels miss, the edges of the bathroom could have been cleaned better. I disliked that there was only one outlet in the room. Well 2, if you count the bathroom. There was outlets on the lamps for phones. But if you have a ton of devices to charge then you’ll have to pick and chose. The beds were comfortable and clean and the mini fridge got real cold. It was pricey but I was happy with my 2 night stay.

The staff was WONDERFUL - front desk help went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed. Kaz turned a potential bad experience (needed the handicapped room but elevator didn't work - my husband can't do stairs) into a very positive experience by arranging for a comparable room on the ground floor for us. The breakfast food was excellent - breakfast burritos were wonderful, and my husband was especially impressed by the biscuits and gravy served on Sunday and Monday. Jennifer (breakfast staff) was efficient, restocking needed food and supplies quickly and making sure things were clean immediately after a spill. All were extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely consider staying again.

could have used another desk chair, the easy chair was a little too short and not firm enough, so not very comfortable

The beds were comfortable and great amenities. The staff, especially the man at check out was amazing, kind, and friendly. Definitely made the experience that much better.

The cleanliness and it's really close to needing upgrades. I had to clean all the surfaces as they looked really dirty, the side table especially had some substance that looked disgusting. There were also crumbs everywhere and the shower, well let's just say we all had to wear shoes in the shower. Did check for bugs on the bed and there weren't any and the sheets and pillows looked clean.

Stayed here on a weekend trip to see the caverns with my family. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was great and the attendant kept it very clean and well stocked. My kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. It is a very small pool, but if it is not a crowded weekend, it is not a problem. There was a refrigerator and microwave in our room which was great. There was plenty of space to put all of our stuff (drawers, closet, room under sink in bathroom). I feel like the price was great and we would definitely stay here again.

The TV remote didn't seem to have been cleaned and there were smudges and hand marks around the door and on the wall so I'm not sure if they clean the high touch points. The bathroom was definitely cleaned well and the bedding was clean though.

The location was great (near Carlsbad Caverns) and the breakfast was good. The beds were comfy. The staff was nice. The room was modern and clean.

The price was a little expensive for just one night. We paid almost double for this location as our previous hotel for the evening (for a one night stay). I think most hotels in the Carlsbad area like to jack up the price due to their convenient location to the Caverns.

I liked the hotel was very clean and new. Breakfast was decent. They serve eggs, sausage, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, toast, bagels, waffles, pancakes, boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt and the usual coffee and juice.

The beds were small and uncomfortable and the room was extremely small. Barely enough space to get around.

Hotel was new and clean. Front desk clerk was welcoming and helpful with tips of dining. Breakfast was decent and dining area was spacious and clean.

The king bed was comfortable but mattress sloped to middle a little bit. Furniture was not great quality but with hotel being new it was fine for now. In future, not sure how it will hold up.

The breakfast was delicious. We liked that the location was at the beginning of the city where we were coming from. The staff was very nice. Our beds were very comfortable.

There were some stains on the carpet and the office chair in our room, just gets u wondering what they were. Otherwise, everything else was clean.

It was in a great location. Clean for the most part. the beds are amazing and the rooms are very clean.

We stayed here back in September and it was the best stay we had in a long time. the breakfast was amazing and the staff was great. unfortunately this time the kitchen staff was horrible, the food was horrible, the dining area was very dirty and nothing was stocked. I asked the kitchen lady for wheat bread because they were out and she brought me back a loaf of bread and said here when your done bring it back to me. 😡 She was very rude to multiple people and we had to keep asking for items because it was out.

The hotel was immaculate! Very clean, very nice, and has an INDOOR pool! The breakfast buffet was very good! And the front desk had fresh baked cookies, all day!

One surprising issue was a complete lack of USB ports. Most hotels have them, but this one had ZERO. Due to staff shortages, our room was not able to be cleaned daily or resupplied with fresh towels. However, this was explained, and we could still get fresh towels at the front desk.
