The room was big and clean. We got daily house-keeping, which was appreciated. The check-in / check-out was fast. The breakfast (although terrible) was served early in the morning, just as we like it. The afternoon tea and popcorn was appreciated. Overall, it was pleasant, for the most part it was quiet.

The breakfast was terrible: coffee is powdered mixed with water. It ended on our last day. There are no healthy choices, all options are packed with sugar. No vegetables, no cheese, no sugar0free options. The location is a bit more to the north which required an extra 10-15 minute drive thru the entire city.

the staff were friendly, location was right on the main road and near the Living Desert Zoo; place was clean; breakfast buffet was excellent. Front desk recommended some local restaurants, which we were able to try out.

toilet worked great but flush was so intense that there's no way to go to bathroom in the night without waking anyone who was staying in the room with you. Had a repeat issue where our keycards stopped working, but the front desk was very quick to fix/replace them.

Clean, spacious room with king bed and sitting area. Looks like recent reno in bathroom and halls. the baseboards were off and the carpet looked new. Breakfast was plentiful with variety, all in working order. The staff was over the top friendly and offered housekeeping every day! who does that these days? The lobby was cheerful, decorated for fall. There was popcorn offered in the lobby every evening. My favorite snack. There is guest laundry on site. The property is on the north edge of town, right next to the hospital. It was quiet and convenient to everything but the NPs are in the other side of the main strip. It’s a matter of minutes to get through the area.

The shower leaked water through the doors onto the tile floor. Couldn’t be helped so we got a new mat and towels each day.

Bed was very comfortable, shower was great, and the breakfast was exceptional

Our rugs had been washed that morning and when we took off our shoes our socks and feet were soaking wet. They did not have another King room available, so we laid towels down to soak up the water. The next day, we get back and the room hadn’t been cleaned up. We were told they only clean every 3rd day, although that isn’t mentioned anywhere. We had to ask for new towels because they were all used and the woman that brought them to us looked angry about it. That didn’t go over well with us because we cleaned everything up ourselves and just handed her the towels and bagged up trash. We did not ask to have any cleaning done. All the other employees were wonderful. No discount was given for the wet rugs in the room.

Super clean, nice room, really good breakfast, the complementary popcorn, lemon water and coffee was great, and comfortable beds.

The price was outrageously high for a single night there. We had a front desk clerk who denied us a refund when we needed to cancel a reservation and we had to have her call a manager to help us(due to medical reasons having been there due to a family member being in the hospital there and being transferred to Lubbock). Her attitude sucked. It is also Very sad that the hotel is that close to the hospital yet there is no medical stay discount of any kind was disappointing.

Super nice staff everywhere we went in the hotel! Everything worked! Everything was clean! Loved the cookies and milk! Appreciated the popcorn too! Breakfast was so good. Real eggs and tasty bacon! Beds were soooo comfortable! Loved and appreciated the couch, the fridge and amenities! We will be using comfort suites a lot more often than we were..

Everything was perfect!

We stayed here with our two young grandchildren and were in one of the suite rooms with the sofa and two queen beds. The extra space made our stay a lot more comfotrable. My grandchildren really loved this place, especially the breakfast. It was clean and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Its really a nice place with a level of service you would expect at a much more expensive hotel.

The hotel is new and easy to access off the highway as you enter town. There is a small outdoor pool and hot tub surrounded by trees which was a great place to spend the afternoon after traveling all day. As the windows of new hotels don’t open, this was the best spot to get some sun and fresh air. The breakfast included was a good selection to include eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy and cereal. There is a small city park within walking distance just past the old cement irrigation canal flue. Make sure to also visit the city park in the middle of town at Carlsbad Lake.

The hot tub had really heavy use Saturday and needed to be cleaned/ water changed.

Nice hotel with comfortable bed and clean.

Not the fault of the hotel, but it is at the Northern part of Carlsbad, so it was not convenient to go to Carlsbad Caverns or Guadalupe Mountains National Park. It took a good 15-20 minutes to drive through town and the 4000 traffic lights. Although early in the morning, the traffic was light and one day I made most of the lights. Also for some reason I had all kinds of trouble with the room key. It took two sets the first night and then the morning of my check out, the key needed replacing. I hope they fix it for the next person. After a long drive, the last thing I want to do is ride the elevator up and down several times to get my key to work.

the rooms were big, location was easy access and the beds were comfortable. they had a nice pool and a hot tub for guests that was shaded throughout the day.

the breakfast was not good and could be improved. the price for two nights was also pretty extreme at 198-199 a night for a hotel that is only a 3 star.
