The views and setting are wonderful! Quiet, peaceful and just what we were looking for. True to the pictures shown. Our suite was clean. shower water pressure was good and yes the furniture is dated, but you know that reviewing the pictures. Internet connection was good and there is a tv in the living room that worked but don't miss out on enjoying the views, you can watch tv anywhere;) The picnic / commons area has several seating areas for guests to enjoy. There were guests grilling steaks and enjoying the evening.

There is no air conditioning but there are ceiling fans and oscillating fan to use and the cool breeze in the evening cooled off the room with the fresh air coming from the 2 sliding patio doors. The drive to the inn would be steep for motorcycles but the road is paved the entire drive.

Rooms were outdated. In order to have the best view, it had to be on the top floor, which is fine, but in the winter, with snow and ice, it can be dangerous. The stairs were not salted or scraped, making going up and down very slick. The heating system was very outdated and only had heat in 3 rooms, nothing in the bathroom. Had to use a small portable heater. Was able to purchase a small bundle of wood from the front desk but would not light as wood was wet. Had to wait to check in exactly at 3 p.m., not a minute sooner, and check-in person was 30 minutes late.

When I arrived in Ruidoso for my stay the facility manager called me to inform me my room had been flooded out. With the horse races going on a decent room was scarce to say the least. Cody Arrowsmith, the facility manager, assured me not to worry that he would take care of me. Next thing I know he had me set up in a nice place without any effort on my end. Very professional and courteous. I will be going back to stay at Tiara Del Sol on the sol fact of how I was treated. I look forward to it!

As Always, the view is just gorgeous! If your looking to get away from city life, like me, then this place is it! Its secluded and quiet, and so cozy! I would stay longer if I could!

The only things I dont really like is that the rooms could be a bit dated. Last time I stayed I got one of the newer rooms and this time around I got a much dated older one. There was also quite a bit of dust and alot of spiders on the cielings and corners. Granted I didnt mind them but still.

Sami the property owner is super nice and very friendly. it had snowed and we managed to get stuck. he made sure to get us pulled out to safety and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The furniture in the unit is old school but super comfy and very clean. For an older property I didn’t not expect it to be so clean and I did not expect it to stay very warm but I was quite shocked on both ends it’s super tidy and we stayed plenty warm. The view here is amazing wish we could stay longer.

The trek up the stairs to the 3rd floor was a killer but doable none the less.

The views are just beautiful, it is very peaceful and just sitting outside on the balcony and taking in the view is worth the money. Wonderful experience as long as you don't have a team of little leaguers renting above you, lol. Would definitely recommend to all my friends.

Nothing bad about the facilities themselves, we just had a team of little leaguers renting above us, and let's just say they had a lot of energy running around late at night, lol.

The view was amazing! We thought at first going up and down the hill to the property would be a pain but it wasn’t at all. The view was worth it and LOTS of wildlife. Now it is a bit outdated, so if you need a new place, then this isn’t your place. it’s dog friendly and the property manager is great!

it’s not that I didn’t like it….climbing to the 3rd floor gets you out of breath….and I consider myself “in-shape”. Just letting others know that if climbing stairs isn’t your thing…. get a unit on the 1st floor.

The view was AMAZING! Driving up the mountain side was so nice! The wild life comes basically to your door, definitely recommend staying!

I swore on the website they had ac as an accommodation. Me and my husband were trying to get away, so when we heard a fire place what better way to be romantic? Ended up not using the fire place due to it being so warm inside the room. But during the winter months this would definitely be a little romantic getaway.

The property is an absolute delight especially you’re looking for a homie and serene view. The view is magnificent knowing that you’re only 10mins away from Ruidoso Downs.

The property definitely needs updating since some amenities like heater is not working and the water got cold during shower. However, they provided some space heater. Those mentioned are not reasons for us not to book again, though, because the rest of our stay was nonetheless amazing. Adding a vending machine too would be nice.

These rooms are spacious and clean. With everything you need to vacation there. Kitchen well stocked, even had coffee and pot. It was very quiet even in the weekend. The manager is very nice. The propane grill was an added bonus. At 1st the location seemed so far from town, turns out it's not.

There are stairs. Stairs and more stairs. The enterances are in the back, and even the ground floor has stairs. Toaster broken. Many needed repairs including a leaky jazz tub that didn't work. Missing/cut/damaged screens. There in no elevator. If you are non ambulatory you can't stay here, even the check on is 2nd floor.
