The room and bathroom were clean. It was comfortable. The breakfast room person kindly assisted with a box to enable to easily take breakfast to my family.
I advised the front desk as we’re checking out that mom’s room was cold and unable to adjust thermostat . I felt there was unnecessary defensive / combativeness that took away the charm of the facility. A little more customer service training

Close to subway stop; lots of small delis/restaurants/bodegas nearby. (One even had a bodega cat!) Walking distance to a very vibrant neighborhood on 5th Avenue near 40th Street.
To exit from the lobby, you need to go through two sets of doors. You push the first set to open them, but you have to *pull* the second set of doors to get out to the street. This is not only a bad idea; it is, in fact, a violation of building codes in some states (such as California).

king size bed and city view was great!
the front desk staff member took a very long time gathering information from both my husband AND my IDs while also holding our credit card upon check in. this was a little suspicious as no other hotel stay I’ve experienced such diligent information checks. when I asked what information he gathered from the cc and ID he replied with “just needed to verify the booking name on file”…. that shouldn’t have taken 10+ minutes of him possessing our bank card and licenses. I am definitely going to keep an eye on my bank and other channels for fraud over the next few weeks.

the hotel has everything we needed for our stay. it’s perfect if you’re out and about all day and are not planning on spending too much time there. the facilities were fair and the room was clean, which was the most important aspect for us. The location is perfect, very close to the subway and convenience stores. Industry city with lots of restaurant options is only 5 minute away. Do make time to visit it!
breakfast was beyond basic as other guests mentioned, really poor quality but gave us the chance to enjoy pastries from Baked in Brooklyn instead! really rare to have a hotel with breakfast at this price range anyway! some hotel guests were loud in the late night. the hotel staff could make more of an effort giving tips/local recommendations. We almost missed Industry city just a couple blocks away, not even mentioned on their site. This should be a selling point!

I like that this hotel accepts cash. Majority of the staff go out their way to make sure my stay is perfect, especially Mendy. She’s always great help.
It wasn’t too much I didn’t like about the property, except for one front desk staff member. I took very much offense at how he treated me when I went to the front desk. I went to the front desk to ask for new towels and tissues. This man asked me what happened to the other towels? As if I had took them or something…smh I clearly had used them if I were requesting new ones. Then to add insult to injury, I’m from the south so I have a thick southern accent, he started mocking everything I said by trying to sound like me. We’re both from different cultures I just didn’t find it funny nor entertaining. I didn’t mock him especially when this wasn’t the time nor place for this, so treat me with the same respect.

It was very clean. There was a train station close by. Parking was decent; behind the hotel, or on the street. It was close to restaurants and lots of deli's. The view of the Manhattan skyline was amazing from our room! Elevators worked good and the front desk was staffed 24hrs; even though you do need a room key to get in late at night..
The breakfast could've had a few more items. It was a weird juice (according to my kids) and a muffin, bagels, coffee. They did have cream cheese so that was great! Near our room there was a whole patch of wall taped up.

Great location with metro subway station a 5 min walk away for trains into Manhattan. Friendly staff members and extremely clean property.
Double room for 4 adults was on the smaller side, nevertheless was suitable for our travel needs as did not need to spend much time in the room. Breakfast was only toast, cereal and muffins but again was acceptable for our travel plans.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I didn't like the fact that room service was only done when you asked. I think bed linen should be changed at least every other day. I stayed for 5 days and linen was only changed once because I asked. Overall the service was good. I also think that there should be a variation to breakfast, not the same thing everyday. I will definitely come again.

Clean and wonderful staff. Free parking and free lite breakfast. King size room had frig and microwave No closet space, but it still was a great stay. Restaurants right in the area. Seafood right at the corner, which was good. Also, Spanish restaurant food was good. Great price for the hotel, and we will be back. Great deal for sure
You had to go to the breakfast area to get ice. But that was no big deal.
