The location is perfect, close to Cooperstown Dreams Park. Very convenient location for the baseball fields and to the town of Cooperstown, along with the lake beach. Great restaurants close as well. Upstate Bar and Grill and Bocca are both excellent. Double Day restaurant in Cooperstown provides both good breakfast and lunch. The staff, Brian and Carl were very friendly, informative, and great to chat with each day.

The only two changes that would make the rooms better would be different pillows and a larger bathroom. The door to the bathroom in our room made it difficult to move around especially when two people are trying to get ready at the same time. bring your own pillows if you are particular. the room bed pillows are a less desirable.

I called ahead to inquire about the pool and hot tub and was told they were open. When I went to use them 2 days later, when I arrived, I was informed that they were closed. I feel a heads up would have been appreciated. While the rooms were spacious and clean and comfortable, the water in our room (including the bathroom and kitchen sink ) smelled like raw sewage. I am on immunosuppressants for Lupus and was scared to brush my teeth or use the water for bathing because I didn’t want to get sick.

The location is perfect! Just outside of Cooperstown proper and perfect for all the activities I had planned. The view is unbeatable, I could barely sleep because I just wanted to take in the view at all hours. The lodge style was beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. Price was right, staff were super friendly and helpful.

A tiny bit more attention to detail such as cleanliness of the shower curtain rod, rust stains on the washcloths & towels, vacuuming behind furniture. Otherwise perfect!

We loved staying at the lodge. It was quiet and comfortable. The room was a good size and loved having the patio space on the back with the adirondack chairs. The view was lovely. We did not get a chance to use the fire pit or the hot tub; but we will on our next stay.

About a week before our arrival date, my niece, her husband and two children decided to join us. When she arrived she informed the person at the desk that she was part of our family and requested that she would be put in an adjoining room or near us. She was told the rooms were booked. When my husband and I arrived we made the same request. No response to our request was given but when we got to our room we found my niece and her family were on the second floor and we were on the first floor. We also found we were the only cars in the parking lot until the next day and then there were only two other vehicles belonging to guests on the property. That was disappointing and I think it would have been nice if our request was honored.

Staff was very acommadating. View was fantastic. Great fire pit. Screened in porch very nice. Went in fall so no pool or hot tub. Bbq grills nice and clean.

This hotel is the perfect place to stay when exploring Cooperstown, NY. It is a 2 minute drive to the Cooperstown Dreams Park and a 10 minute drive to Downtown Cooperstown or Ommegang Brewery. This is an absolute alternative to the major hotel chains in the area as it has something for everyone. It has a swimming pool, air hockey table and a playground for children. It has a jacuzzi and shared gas grill for the adults. The location is peaceful and tranquil. We will be back again!

The AC/Heater unit could be loud especially at night.

The location was great. Very quiet area close to the ball fields and restaurants. The rooms were large with a porch.

The people on staff were not what we expected. When checking in they didn't know how to split the room charge for the 2 rooms. When we were checking out, we had to wait for the staff to get back to the main building for checking out and ended up putting the two rooms on one statement. The breakfast was very limited and consisted of coffee, packaged muffins, bananas and apples.

The location was beautiful with spectacular views of the valley. Fall foliage was breathtaking.

Not enough insulation in between rooms as we could hear people talking. Putting on the fan when we went to bed helped.

The breakfast was fairly standard. No prepared food, but cereal, cereal bars, yogurt, coffee, etc.

I could hear conversations from the room next door, and the in room coffee was insufficient.

It was an amazing place to stay. Very quiet and out of the way of the city. Beautiful area and nice pool, which we had to ourselves. I would stay there again in a New York minute. All staff was wonderful.
