What we loved the most about the hotel was its position, right at the corner with Fifth Avenue, and Bryant Park, very good various metro connections, and Penn(sylvania) Station on a reasonable walking distance. Hotel and room were cleaned, the size of the room at the limit (manageable space to store 2 luggages, despite its general size smaller than what you find in Europe for the money). We were pleased being able to make a late check-out and leave our luggages to be picked up at later our, and get a 2nd blanket (a king bed provides only one). The shower and the water temperature and pressure were good. the dedicated wardrobe a bit small, the sufficient hangers (incl. for trousers) paid off. We also had an iron, which was useful.

A pricy stay in general, but given the conditions, the location in the heart of NYC Manhattan, and the period of Memorial Day, I think we ended at a good price for a short notice booking. We would have valued having a tea machine in the room, a small fridge and a bed slightly bigger. While the room was equipped with a bathtub, the shower system was fixed on the wall and this has an inconvenient while taking showers. The airco system is very noise, we were glad we did not require it during the night, we left it run during the day, and switch it off when we went to sleep (there were 22-35 degrees outside when we stayed here: end of May - beginning of June). Have seen the same airco systems at all hotels we scanned for our stay.

Location; the hotel is located between east 40th St and 5th Avenue, in front of the New York Public Library, 3 mins walk to Bryant Park, near and easy walking access to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and subway among others. Very well located with easy access to some top attractions without the noise that means staying near times square (for example). The hotel is old but very clean, well maintained and the rooms are very comfortable (beds, space and bathroom). The service from the hotel staff was exceptional. Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again.

one older lady at the reception was very rude but others were ok. we had two rooms and I asked for one to have late checkout at 12. her response was I didn’t do it for VIP guest why would I do it for you! and she said we’re not living in early 2000s and we’re strict with our timing !!!

Location was perfect for us since we were coming in through Grand Central. Room was ready when expected, spacious & clean. We appreciated the size of the bathroom which was big enough to turn around in and also room to place toiletries on sink counter. Plenty of room for 2 people. The concierge FRANK was especially friendly and helpful and it was nice to be able to leave luggage for a few hours while we went to bkfast nearby.

The price $$$ was a bit steep for what you receive but we get that the location is within a high real estate area. Its just that when you walk around you realize there are many many Marriott's to choose from.

The hotel was in a excellent location, near the Library and Bryant park. The walk to Times Square, Empire State, Grand central station and the Rockefeller Plaza were within easy reach. We had a family room (2 adults & 2 children) with 2 double beds, the room was small but clean and adequate for our needs. There was a nice free coffee machine and water dispenser on the mezzanine. We used this daily for our morning coffee/tea/hot chocolate, there was usually a small queue but this was manageable and moved quite fast. I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again if visiting NY.

There was Scaffolding outside the hotel entrance, however this didn’t really cause us any issues.

Location in Midtown was perfect for sightseeing and exporing New York. The room was huge, the mattresses were incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was a perfect for my family. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful when we needed them.

The air con unit was very loud, but it worked perfectly and we were very grateful for it given the very warm temperature in NYC.

The location and staff are great; the gym is very convenient. The coffee machine was a great addition. The room has plenty of space to put your things. It was my third time in the hotel; I'll keep returning there. Great value for money.

We asked for a room for three persons; we got a double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed is uncomfortable, and I don't think they should suggest accommodating a third person there.

We enjoyed our stay at Courtyard Marriott. It was very clean and comfortable. The room and bathroom were good sizes for four people and the water pressure was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The concierge Frank was extremely friendly and helpful. Security presence was good. You must use a room card to access functions of the elevator and to enter the front door after hours. This is a great safe central NYC location for running around the city.

The door to the room didn't seal completely down the sides, so there was a small crack of light that came through. Thankfully, we were in a corner room, so no one was passing by. The door lock worked perfectly fine.
