Location near Grand Central station and Times Square was good. Room (Premium Double with City View) was comfortable enough to keep a large suitcase open although there wasn't really a city view other than the street and the next building. Toilet counter was a bit small but wasn't a big deal. Rooms were also cleaned really well every day.

Absolutely zero help from the bell boy on duty. Extremely sullen young man who just hung around behind the reception area. Don't bother booking airport transport through the hotel - driver doesn't come into the arrival hall to wait for you, he just waits for you at the Uber pick up area and charges extra for credit card payments plus a tip. Probably better off just actually calling an Uber.

Great location, very friendly staff, spacious room, delicious breakfast. I can highly recommend this place. Very nice hotel with Amazon and friendly staff. We will come back.

The room was spacious. The bathroom was renovated and very clean. Water pressure was considerable. We could have a peek on the Empire State Building from one of the windows. The air-condition worked well. No city noise was heard while the windows stayed closed.

The decoration of the room is a bit depressing. The iron does not work. The service is not so good: we asked for an additional blanket, but never got it and gave up. When the show gel was finished we needed to ask for refill three times till we got it. The breakfast was a disappointment: the bread was old and dry - and in this part of the city you can get any breakfast you want for better price.

Friendly staff, clean and quiet room. The location of the hotel is just incredible! Right in the center of New York! It was the Best breakfast during our trip! Wide range of dishes and very delicious. The same thing concerns to dinner. And.... background music in the restaurant! We don't know the person who made the playlist. But he/she seems to be a musical genius! :)

Parking problem. The hotel does not have its own parking space or garage. They have a deal with one of the garages a few blocks away. Even though it is very small, the garage staff will place your car themselves. And of course, the price for parking is exorbitant (about $70 per day). But this is NY...

Great location. Just to name two, the Empire State Building and Bryant Park are at spitting distance. Room was small but clean. Note: small for general US standards, but this is Manhattan). Bedding was fine. The A/C is a bit loud even with the fan on „low“, but we were so tired we slept as corpses. We did have a Nespresso Machine in the Room (guess only in the superior rooms). Sound proofing was very good.

Oh well, you can‘t have it good AND cheap. So it was a bit of an expensive stay (and breakfast, as usual, not included). But it‘s in the heart of Manhattan and it‘s an NH Hotel. Oh, and i‘d have liked to have a night table (or even a shelf) on both sides of the bed. ☺️

Great location and fairly central to most main attractions. Guest keeping kept room very clean everyday with fresh water, towels, nespresso which was appreciated.

Faulty toilet which did not flush so had to use facilities. No hand soap topped up during visit. Faulty tv or remote control meant it was hard to use TV and chill out in room. For the size and amenities provided, I’d say this is a fairly expensive room per night for type of room we was in. NH Collection Hotels usually offer good quality rooms at a good rate, this seemed expensive vs other cities NH Collection Hotels.

The location was excellent. I would also like to highlight the breakfast and staff working there. The rooms are small, but has everything you need and the bathroom has good size. It’s really quiet and you don’t get disturbed with noise from the outside. A new complimentary water every day was nice and appreciated. The gym was good - has the things you need for a good workout.

The first impression is important, and the lady working in the reception was efficient but not so friendly, you didn’t feel so welcome. We booked the room months in advance and got a room on the 3rd floor (I guess that was bottom floor), and you couldn’t see anything except some big ventilation machines. We were traveling with another family and they booked 2w before and got a room on the 10th floor

The location of this hotel is excellent, and is within walking distance to the Empire State Building and many other sites. The staff were all friendly and the restaurant Serafina was excellent. The buffet breakfast had a good selection. The air conditioning unit in the room was rather loud but it was powerful and kept the room cool. Housekeeping was excellent and the room was kept clean and refreshed every day.

The room felt quite small and the twin beds were on wheels which we kept having to adjust. Glasses for water not provided in the room, however they do provide a 1 litre bottle of still water per day. We paid for a city view but on the 8th floor this doesn't really exist as it just faces an apartment building. No room service, which is surprising for a four star hotel.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, and close to everything! Rockefeller Center, Time Square, and Central Park were about a 15 to 25 minute walk. Or we could just hop on a bus and it was minutes. The price was $100 cheaper than all the other hotels in the area. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to store our bags several hours before check in.

The room was a little small but fine for my daughter and myself. It would be crowded for more than 2. They have a breakfast buffet for $20, but we skipped that and grabbed breakfast across the street at Rico Bagel.

Really loved the Quad room for families. It had a full and two twin beds and a nice sofa. The staff was great. The room felt "spacious". Staff was very nice. Especially Eric the bellman helped store our luggage after we checked out but while we walked around city before our flight, and got us a ride to the airport. The rest of the staff was very nice as well and the hotel was very clean and had a comfortable lobby while we waited for kids to wake up.

There was nothing we didn't like - this will be our first choice of place to stay next time we travel to NY. It was maybe a 7 minute walk to subway station, but maybe that helped that the area just felt safer than when we stayed right near Penn station.
