Everything about this Barrister's Bed & Breakfast was fantastic! The owners were warm, welcoming, informative, and shared in great conversations with us. The breakfast was amazing, and there were also cookies and beverage available the rest of the day. The accomodations were cozy, comfortable, charming and also elegant - the style of the Bed & Breakfast building as well as all of the decor was also gave the feel of being back in the time of "It's a Wonderful Life" which isd why we were staying there {the annual festival celebrating the movie and it's connections to the area). The parking was on site and plentiful and the B&B was close enough to downtown for us to walk to everything we participated in while there.

There wasn't anything we didn't like except for perhaps the fact that they book up so quickly, we hoped to return there next year and the year after but will need to wait and see if there are cancellations. It's obviously a very popular place and we definitely can see why!

My stay at Barrister's was one of the best B&B experiences. The weekend I went was a difficult one for me, personally, and being greeted at the door and welcomed in, I immediately felt at ease and at home by Ken and Diane. After a long and tiring car drive, it was very much appreciated. My room was so lovely and such a comfort. I loved the story behind the girl the room was named after and how thoughtfully it was decorated. The remodeled bathroom is very tastefully done with modern fixtures and decorative touches. Everything worked great, hot water ran right away and the shower pressure was perfect. The breakfast was made with love by the cooking and baking duo :) and was delicious and varied each day. I also sat on the front porch each morning, which was delightful. I truly had an exceptional stay and would stay here again if I visited the Finger Lakes.

Room was really comfortable. Our room was not huge, but well thought out, and the bathroom was recently redone which was a pleasant surprise. The rooms also have split systems which allowed for great temp control. Great front porch and parlor. If you like Victorian decor, you will love this place. Great attention to detail on the interior. Incredible breakfasts.

Only thing I would change is they should put some sort of divider to the neighboring properties because the neighboring properties were unkempt.

The house was beautiful. When we arrived we were made to feel very welcomed in there home. Our room was Grandmothers. It had family pictures on the dresser, doilies on wooden furniture. The king bed even had a bread spread ! Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning and heat. Even a fireplace in our room. We only got to have one breakfast there. It was delicious. A couple from Denmark asked if this was a tradition breakfast here. It certainly wasn’t we explained In the morning we had to leave at four a.m. She had homemade muffins and coffee with travel cups waiting for us

The only problem with other B&B’s we stayed at is no way to get our heavy luggage up. Barristers was the only place that offered to help us So nothing here we didn’t like. Wished we didn’t live so faraway

What an amazing place to stay. It was our first time at the Finger Lakes and loved every minute there. The bed and breakfast place is beyond gorgeous. Diane and Ken were so kind and courteous. They are truly two beautiful people that made you feel like family. I know Dave and I will always keep them in our hearts, that's what family does. The breakfast 3 course meal each day was beyond any words can describe, simply scrumptious, amazing and beautiful presentation. Diane and Ken made our visit to the Finger Lakes a dream to remember. We definitely will be back to New York and now have found our second home at the Barrister's Bed and Breakfast!! ❤️ Carol and Dave

We just loved our experience at Barrister's. We had a large well decorated room in a charming area. Very clean and quiet. The B&B is close to good restaurants (owners recommanded 84Fall which was exquisite). Ken and Diane just greet everyone as if you were family. They make sure you have everything you need. You feel at home. Ken is the creative breakfast Chef using mostly local quality products (he comments on origins of ingredients) with imagination. He should consider participating to Masterchef. Diane completes Ken perfectly as she serves us with a smiling professional touch. She makes sure every one is well taken care of and ponctuates the breakfast with interesting anecdotes. The two are very generous of their time and kind. This place is not just a B&B, it is a rich human and gastronomical experience. Thank you very much Diane and Ken !!

The b&b is an oasis in the middle of the Finger lakes! You hear birds singing in the morning, the hosts treat you like family, and the house is nicely furnished to reflect the 19th century style yet it also offers modern amenities such as a clean and renovated shower. It’s situated in a row of Victorian houses in a quaint village that’s the birthplace of women’s rights. We had a little hiccup with our car unrelated to the stay and the hosts went out of their way to help us. Definitely recommend!

The room could have been a little bigger (but some other rooms in the b&b are bigger) but it was comfortable and absolutely fine for two people. Otherwise, no complaints. We really enjoyed our stay and the historical yet familiar touch of the house.

this bed and breakfast was awesome. it’s in a good location, and it’s so comforting and warm. it’s so much better than staying in a hotel. and there was a jacuzzi tub in our room which was awesome. it’s super clean, the bed was so comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing. Ken and Diane are so friendly and do a fantastic job running this place, and they gave us recommendations for things to do on our trip which we appreciated. it was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast like this(and it was our first time at the finger lakes) and it exceeded our expectations.

The hosts made us feel at home right from the start. I felt as though I was in my Grandmother’s house. The gourmet breakfasts were a treat each morning. The bedroom had a king bed with an updated bathroom. The restaurants in downtown were just a few minutes walk. Many wineries in the area are just a short drive away. It was a very memorable stay thanks to Ken & Diane.

The home was lovely and beautifully decorated with antiques with colorful wallpaper, original woodworking and stained glass windows. Bed was very comfortable and air conditioning kept the temperature nice and cool in the hot weather. We enjoyed sitting on the front pouch and visiting with the other guests and walking around the historical neighborhood viewing the other lovely homes. Especially enjoyed the breakfast and elegant place settings. Our visit was relaxing and enjoyed hiking in the state park’s surrounding the Finger Lakes.
