I love this place. We only stayed one night, was traveling on our way home. I wish I had taken some pictures. It was this quaint little village of rooms just in the middle of the mountain pass. Absolutely adorable. I can see having a wedding reception out there. The staff was amazing. They have a nice little set up where If you come after hours there are little mailboxes where they leave the keys to your room. There is a restaurant that serves food till like 11:00 pm. Just an adorable place in the woods/hills of North Carolina.

Really can’t think of anything.

The property was beautiful and in a wonderful location; not too far from the city, but not so close that you’re in the middle of crowds of people. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly. We visited the Nantahala Outdoor Center that was just a 5 minute drive and had dinner at River’s End and enjoyed the beautiful river. After dinner we enjoyed a nice walk exploring the property at Nantahala Village. Then we visited the on site Kallisto Restaurant and Lounge. The bartenders were excellent and we ended up with a second meal. It was a very laid back and beautiful lounge.

Pleasantly surprised at how nice the facilities, including restaurant and bar, were. The king suite with gas fireplaces, both inside and on the porch (through french doors), was very very nice.

No one present at the front desk at check-in at 5:00pm. Had to wait, and find other staff to locate someone to check us in. Called to inquire about a late checkout. There was no answer so I left a message, but got no return call. At 11:00am checkout, no one present anywhere near the front desk. Had to leave the keys behind the counter.

This was such a lovely get-away spot. It was very close to the NOC and only about eight miles from Bryson City. We went up to enjoy the fall colors and were not disappointed. The Inn is well maintained and the staff were beyond friendly and accommodating. The onsight restaurant is, apparently, a lease operation and is presently closed, but they hope it will reopen in the spring of '23. They do offer sausage biscuits (which really smelled good) and coffee in the lobby for breakfast, but we chose to go into Bryson City and eat at the Everett Street Diner. If you travel there in October take note that many of the restaurants close early. Some as early as eight, more at nine, with only a couple staying open until ten. We got our reservation with a great last minute online deal through Booking.com. We would definitely stay here again.

I would say the only mild inconvenience, and something to be aware of, is that the front of the Inn sits fairly close to the road. The rooms that face the road do have a little road noise, but it wasn't bad to us. Some very light sleepers might be bothered. The rooms across the hall face the pool and the property and would be quieter and have a nicer view.

My husband and I are from Florida and we were planning on going to Bryson City and I looked on Booking.com and saw Nantahala Village and the price was right and the reviews were great so we made reservations. From the very beginning, Gigi at the front desk was wonderful to work with and so accommodating! It's like this picturesque lodge in the mountains and off the beaten track which makes it even better. We got up early the next morning and she had sausage biscuits for us before we went into the city to take the train ride. She also had coffee for us at 6:00 in the morning when she did not have to. Our room was lovely, large, clean and we couldn't have asked for anything better. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderfully picturesque place to stay! Thank you Nantahala village! And especially to Gigi!

Beautiful Location close to Bryson City and NOC at Wesser Creek. Very nice rooms with comfy beds and great views, well above and beyond a regular 'hotel' room. Deb was so helpful at making sure I had access even though arriving late. There's also a wonderful family owned horse stable on the property that's been in operation for at least 30 years or so.

When I chose the 'mountain view' room, as opposed to the 'pool view' room, it would have been nice to know that the 'mountain view' room required climbing a flight of stairs to achieve the 2nd floor 'view'.

We stayed in the lodge. The resort has an old rustic feel but is very clean and updated. The room has a rustic feel but is very clean, comfortable, and updated. The mattresses and pillows were perfect, soft yet firm. The bathroom door was solid wood, obviously from a previous era where craftsmanship was important. The shower was hot. The pool was beautifully kept. There weren't many people in the resort probably because we were staying Mon, Tues, and Wednesday.

Pandemic related effects for some of these items. The on-site restaurant and bar were closed - no staff. Disappointing. We were told about the restaurant across the street...mediocre at best. The "fountain" in the middle of the resort wasn't working, not a huge deal but filled with algae, kind of an unsightly look. I went to work out in the "gym." Everything was pushed against the wall and was not operational. The "game room" had billiards (2), ping pong, a foosball table, and some Crane games. Game room overall was OK. Numerous bugs (mostly flies) were a distraction for my daughter and I. And the missing foosball was noted. Seems small, but its one more thing noted by guests including myself.

I enjoyed that the property is not a chain hotel. this provides more personable stay and care of rooms, the ability for you to speak to staff, them to get to know your needs and help make the experience just what you need!

The fishing pond and pool were our favorites! Very relaxing to be in touch with nature.

We stayed in a unit with a loft. The air conditioner was not strong enough to cool the upstairs. Possible it was broken. We opened the windows but that didn’t help. Told the office and nothing was done.

We arrived late at night (beyond the office hours) and Amy stayed later than usual to make sure to assist us to find our cabin. Amy and Deb were more than welcoming to my husband and I. Deb received us as we picked up our breakfast; coffee & sausage and homemade biscuits. They both made us feel like we were family!
