Proximity to beach, restaurants and shopping very good

Hotel restaurant was not open first 2 days of our stay. Was not mentioned online that it would be closed, we may have stayed elsewhere if this had been known. Room design not great. Bathroom door very awkward, very heavy ,would not stay open or closed. This was our 2nd time staying here. Last time umbrellas and chairs were available on site. We had to purchase own umbrella and bring own chairs. Rooms are expensive, these Extra amenities would have been nice. Not sure if we would stay here again.

Right on the beach! You can't get better than that. Free coffee available at standard ours. That's always a plus. The pet friendly rooms are all on the 1st floor. That was a definite plus! The side exits were all set up for room card re-entry. Good security measure. Staff was very friendly and professional. A restaurant/bar was on site also.

The breakfast buffet on Booking.com looked way better than the actual buffet. Only one type of eggs was available - scrambled, finger sized biscuits, the bacon was definitely greasy, and the gravy was runny. The buffet was way smaller than the picture depicted. The cable also lost most of the channels on our second day. It was never corrected, and no one gave us a reason or status update. Toilet seat was loose, and the shower was rather week. Not what you would expect from a respected name like Ramada.

2nd time staying here! The hotel is nice enough. The staff is friendly. Housekeeping is great. The location can't be beat! Right on the beach, and minutes to shops, restaurants, and other attractions. Clean room, comfortable beds, great water pressure and temperature adjustment.

I must have picked the WORST week ever to visit! Weather sucked! Of course, that's not the hotel's fault. But, they're also renovating, which is great - glad to see improvements and upgrades! During renovations, the pool was closed, which was a downer, since it really was too cold to enjoy anything outdoors. Because of construction, it was also very noisy. Our room (on the top floor) also had water seeping in from somewhere. Many of the vinyl flooring planks were loose. I did alert the front desk. Overall, another comfortable stay for us. I do look forward to staying again once the construction is done. Hopefully, it will make a good stay even better!

Location of property was on point! Beach front with tiki pool, bar, and restaurant attached. Access to local restaurants literally across the street.

Only thing did not like was that there were no lounging pool chairs. All the parents would need to sit on bench which was uncomfortable. I ended up laying my towels on concrete to lay down and tan and watch my kids while they swam. Also Pool towels were tiny. Bigger ones would make the guest feel more welcomed and luxurious.

The view was nice from top floor. It was clean and nice. The soaps and shampoo left in the room were dove, which was great because usually hotel soaps are terrible and leave my skin irritated.

The bathroom was so small you couldn’t open the door fully because it would hit the shower curtain rod. The beds was hard. And paying $2115 for 4 nights I did expect a nicer bed. The pool was closed our entire stay and didn’t get any kind of discount - pool was one reason we picked this hotel.

The hotel location is perfect to get to restaurants, shopping, and activities! The accommodations were wonderful...very clean and smells great. The staff was so friendly...from the front desk to the maids. I've stayed here several times and am always very satisfied. I'll be using this hotel again, for sure!

- The pool is closed due to updating. - The window seal in #524 is broken, looking out to the beach. So, it was like looking out through "rain". I reported it to the front desk.

It was amazing having a door in our room where we could take our pet out without going through the whole place.

Plenty of parking even on a summer weekend. AC worked great in room with outside temps in the 90s. Beds comfortable. Mini frig/micro/coffee pot in room was convenient. Spacious main room. Very clean. Good coffee in lobby

TV seemed oddly small for such a nice room. The bathroom was very small and hard to move around in because door only opened so far due to being blocked by curved shower curtain rail. shower head could stand an update but towels were large and plentiful

Everyone/staff is so nice, and the facility is clean and fresh! The beach is wide, and the outside sitting areas are fantastic! Even though I had the "Do not disturb" sign on my outside doorknob, the housekeeping staff always accommodated my requests. It's so convenient to have a restaurant within the hotel, even though it's closed on Sundays and Mondays. This is my second visit to the hotel (May and October 2022), and I plan on coming again and again!

I wish the access from inside the building to the beach was more direct...less steps to get outside the building. But, it's worth it once you get outside to the beach.

I come to the Outer Banks nearly every year. I usually stay in Duck, but this is my second time staying in the Nags Head/Kill Devil Hills area. And this is my first time staying in a hotel, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I read a lot of reviews, but I take everything with a grain of salt. Some people simply want to gripe and moan, and couldn't be satisfied regardless of what the hotel could/would offer. So, with that being said: - The location can't be beat! You are right on the beach. The oceanfront room provides gorgeous views and relaxing sounds. - Even if you don't want to make the hike to the beach, the balcony is pretty amazing! - The room was clean, the beds comfortable. I didn't hear any of these "paper thin wall" sounds that so many others mentioned. - The bathroom was a little tight, but provided all you needed - toilet, vanity, countertop, tub/shower. - Staff was friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping came by regularly. - The pool was perfect for the evenings after the sun goes down. The restaurant and bar even had live music, which we could enjoy while in the pool. - Plenty of vending machines and ice available. Trash bins are located on each floor. - While I didn't realize it until almost the end of my stay, there is laundry available. All in all, we had a great stay, and will definitely keep it on our short-list for return stays!

There was really nothing to complain about. Most of these poor reviews are pretty much cosmetic and aesthetic whining... A few suggestions for improvement would be: - Updated art work, furnishings, and decor - most was very dated - Swap out the peel and stick vinyl (some was starting to buckle) with click and lock vinyl - There appears to be enough room for a larger mini fridge/freezer - ours was pretty small and appeared to be a fridge only - A few more wall hooks to hang wet shorts and towels - Add ventilation to the bathrooms - the shower/steam leaves everything feeling muggy - Since there's naturally a lot of sand being tracked in, perhaps providing a small, handheld broom and dustpan in each room.
