We loved our stay at the green ash yurt. It was so comfortable and cozy. We had all we needed with the full kitchen and enjoyed eating breakfast on the deck. The tile shower was nice and roomy also. The bed was comfortable and we slept great. The location was great and close to everything. I highly recommend staying if you've never experienced a night in a yurt! We hated to leave! The staff was great and very quick to reply to us.

The only thing we didn't like was the sun shining directly in our faces from the skylight on the top every morning plus you could feel the heat radiating from it making the yurt hot. I would recommend tinting it with a reflective tint so you could still see out but keep the sun from shining so bright inside and helping to keep your yurt cool in the summer months. The lawn service needs a little work also. It needed cut before we got there. We stayed 7 nights and they finally cut it the day before we left but didn't weed eat or manicure it. I would also recommend putting a rod to hang clothes in the closet where the hot water heater is. I had to use the curtain rod

This was a last minute summer getaway with my daughter and dog. We needed a peaceful retreat, which was exactly what we experienced. The owner/manager, Chasity, was responsive and extremely pleasant. She even upgraded us to the Honeymoon hideaway, which was a very special spot and much appreciated. If you’re worried about yurt camping, this is truly a luxury yurt! Central air, dishwasher, ALL the creature comforts. WiFi, electric fireplace! Seriously! Maggie Valley is a quaint village, in an absolutely beautiful setting. It’s a great “home base” for an outdoor-centric vacation. We visited Lake Junaluska, explored the national forest and Blue Ridge Parkway. We also took a trip on the Great Smoky Mountain Railway, from Bryson City, which is highly recommended. Restaurants are unpretentious and offer inexpensive, home cooked food. Yum! Loved everything about the town, setting, and beautiful accommodations! Thank you!

My husband and I went to Maggie Valley and stayed in a yurt for our 22nd anniversary. The yurt was literally nicer than most places we have stayed over the years and I mean resorts, too. They have thought of everything for your stay. The TV was large, the bed was AMAZING and the ac and water were great. The shower was nice and big. Everything was spot on and clean. Once when we got there we couldn't figure out the tv but the owners are very receptive and helpful. The location was near everything but with a secluded feel and we could hear the creek. We would definitely stay here again!!

The wifi was a bit slow

The privacy was very nice. The place was spotless. The AC was great. Very nice place

The bed needs a small box spring or something woke up with back and neck pain. I'm a contractor and I noticed a few things that will cause y'all problems. #1 the shower has white pine wood that will rot and cause mold. Needs to be PVC or waterproofing. Also the right side shower wall where the soap goes needs silicone in the joint so water doesn't get behind it and rots it out The ceiling fan in the center needs to be wired correctly. The light flicker's. The barn door isn't level so it slides open. The roof over the front porch needs some carriage bolts through the 6x6s 2 on each post. And one very important thing is the dead tree behind the yurt will fall on it and would hate if someone was in there sleeping. T Other than those few things this place is very nice and awesome 👍.

I liked the convenience of our "party" being able to stay in their own cabin. All together we had 11 people in our "party" that was separated into 3 cabins. Chasity was the lady that helped me with the whole process during our stay. Chasity is AMAZING!!

I expected it to be small, but it was almost too small for some of our family. There were two guys that were at least 6'2". I'm not saying this to try to leave a negative review, because the pictures do resemble a "tiny home". Just giving my honest opinion. We had a hard time getting the door to unlock, I felt so bad calling to ask for help getting us into the cabins. This goes to the easiness of the keyless entry, but maybe those can be updated 🤷‍♀️. Again, not trying to be Negative Nancy just being honest.

This is our second year staying here and they are all around great. Fully equipped kitchen, basic bathroom utilities provided, cozy. Great area.

Both years we've stayed there has been enough dog hair on furniture to make us a little uncomfortable. It would be a great idea to make some of the cabins no pets and some allowing pets. I'm assuming there are people out there with allergies or people who don't like to sleep in other people's dog hair. There was a random sock under the bed, and dried up poo under/beside the couch.(not our sock and we don't have pets). We LOVE the place and have tried to overlook these things because of how much we enjoy our stay. If you don't mind dog hair though, you should have no issues at all.

My family and I had the best experience. The property was perfect. We took advantage of the fire pit every night we stayed, and woke up to the sight of the biggest elk right outside our door every morning. The host chastity was real nice and helpful we truly enjoyed our stay and definitely will stay here again

The only downfall I believe was the fact that the closest town was over 20 minutes away. Otherwise everything was great.

Great location and easy to get to. Perfect size for 2 people and super cute. I had some issues with my key code working when we first got there, but I called the number which she answered right away and gave me a different code that worked. Will definitely be back.

It is a tight fit, so if your a wider person it might be difficult.. But then again it is called a tiny home.

I had never stayed in a Yurt before...didn't know about them or even seen one. I was very pleasantly surprised Clean, neat everything you would need to stay there. Better than a hotel motel. Owner is very friendly. There is a shelter with a fireplace you can use also and a grill, comfortable chairs. I liked the deck on the Yurt. Not like staying in a hotel with people on both sides of you. This is more private. We will most definitely be back.

There was nothing I did not like.

This was my first time staying in a Yurt. It was a great experience!! It's so fun telling friends and family that I stayed in a Yurt. They are all very intrigued and ask many questions.

The Yurt became quite warm durning the afternoon but the fan helped manage the temperature. The mornings and evenings were very comfortable.
