Although the property is in the midst of renewal, I was pleasantly surprised by the room I received. Very pleasing to the eye with new flooring, paint etc to create a welcome feeling. Also surprised to find a welcome note with a coffee cup filled with candy from the staff. I was told at check in that I was the first guest to stay in the new updated rooms. although I did not get the names of all the employees, Ricky handled all my questions with a smile. Thank you for the popcorn, it was just what I needed.

Could not use the pool yet, not opened for the season. On going construction on 2nd floor, noisy. no direct access to lobby from the third floor so had to walk from back of building, outside to get there.

They were very friendly, but I had a problem with the booking and had to double pay and I am now waiting on a response to how it will be resolved.

The beds were too high and the toilet was too low. The toilet was like a child's toilet. It is hard for old people to get down that low.

Housekeeping to clean after 11 am

Housekeeping opened the door 3 times before 9:30 a.m. until we got up so they could clean. Housekeeping continued all three days of my stay to come early and clean before 10 am to clean. Other than that, I have no complaints.

The staff at the Quality Inn in Matthew’s was the best part of my stay. The cleanliness of the rooms common areas breakfast bar and cafeteria was outstanding. The friendliness and staff kindness was monumental to my good spirits. I was under a lot of stress due to relocating to Charlotte from Miami and the staff eased my burdens.

The gym didn’t have weights.

Location was right where I needed to be. I was staying in the new construction area so that part was good.

I got charged twice for the $50 fee so I am hoping I get the $100 dollars back. The other was it was under construction so not too many places to park. Breakfast was cold.

Due to covid they have bagged breakfast that included a drink, a granola bar and a pastry. It was a nice touch even though its not very healthy. We were there for a football event so the kids used it as a snack. The pool was open and they had chairs and umbrellas for shade, Decent sized mini fridge which is a must when traveling with kids. Easy access to main roads and close to food and shopping.

There were no clean pool towels and the dirty ones were left laying around the pool deck for a good period of time. We only had 2 bath towels so we had to call down for more since we soaked them with swimming.

Even with the ongoing renovations, we had a very pleasant stay. I got to enjoy the pool each day and the room was nice and quiet when we returned in the evening

Room was bigger than the first stay. Plus the elevator to get to the second floor.

Old out dated furniture and lighting. People sitting in foyer, begging for money and rides.

very dirty, the room had cob webs and not keep up.

Nice Hotel fir a quick stay.Good breakfast

Although not the Hotels fault,everytime I came out of my room all I could smell is weed coming from the rooms next to me
