The room was comfortable although not as clean as I would prefer. The breakfast was good, although the service was lacking ( I had to track someone down to restock the bowls and spoons and refill the water).

Check-in staff wasn't very friendly. They weren't rude but it would be nice to see a welcoming smile and have a polite conversation. I was the only one at the desk so it wasn't as if they were busy. When I tried to ask a question later in the day, the staff obviously saw me approaching but decided to turn away and go into the back area. She came right out when I called for her which tells me she didn't have to leave in the first place.

Breakfast was typical, nothing special or having the "wow" affect. The location was easy to find. The room suit its' purpose; even though I left a day earlier.

Upon reading and researching the room I selected. It was suppose to have a king size bed in one room and two queen size beds in another. The reservationist I spoke to confirmed this by stating, yes sir, you have a suite. I booked through booking..com (a 3rd parry). The room I received upon arrival only had two full size beds in it. Although it clearly stated and I saw a king size bed and two queen size bed in their advertisement. Renters beware! The price was too good to be true!

The location was perfect with easy access from Independence Avenue. The room was clean and had both a microwave and mini-fridge. The water was hot with plenty of pressure. The breakfast was plentiful and had both hot and cold selections with excellent coffee and juice. The staff were amazingly friendly!

The room was a little small and the bed was just a touch hard for my taste. Not horrible, though. I slept well with no noise.

The room was for the most part clean, they had a small and terrible selection for instant meals and snacks, the breakfast was subpar and I didn't get a chance to use the pool.

There was a random hair in my bed, and that weirded me out, the breakfast was subpar lol, the wifi was not very strong.

Excellent facility, very clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was a plus. Having noon checkout was great. Well priced. Convenient to Ovens Auditorium. Highly recommend.

We were on 3rd floor, and it sounded like a bunch of kids running back and forth above us. I had been out til about 11, but my Mom said had been going for a while. Stopped about midnight and started again about 8 a.m.

This beautiful facility is sparkling clean with very attractive decor and a wonderful, full, hot breakfast! The staff was friendly and helpful “ above and beyond” any expectations! Mikie and Aiesha were both so kind to immediately show me how to set up Uber Ride on my phone and safely use the app to call for a ride to and from our event! My husband and I are elderly and never tried that app before; and, were it not for Mikie and Aiesha, we would have been nervous wrecks driving in Charlotte traffic! We are forever indebted to these amazing young people for making our weekend so great and relaxing!

We loved everything about our stay!! We are so thankful we chose Fairfield Inn and Suites-Matthews for our weekend trip! There is no better staff anywhere!

On arrival there one staff person checking everyone in and managing already registered staff. The young lady was extremely patience and was doing an efficient job.

Did not have silverware for breakfast. Although the staff was very nice and went to the local Walmart to obtain some, however, due to our time constraints we could wait for it to be placed.

Everything was amazingly clean and beautiful! Mikey was the Guest Service Rep from Heaven :) All that answered the phone in guest services were amazing! I truly did enjoy my stay! Breakfast was really good. I loved the sitting areas.

Housekeeping doesn't line the trash cans with trash bags instead trash bags are just laid on trash can. Never seen that before. Not a big fan.

Overall this is a 4 star. Good location if visiting friends or family on Matthews. Good basic shopping and restaurants nearby. Easy access. Very comfortable bed

Slightly more Attention to detail overall would have made this a 5 star. Plastic bags just laying in the trash baskets for me to install, coke in the lobby was $3.47! Breakfast was weak with few options with a 89% health rating.

I’ve never stayed anywhere where all of the staff have been so nice and friendly. Truly a very refreshing experience. Very kind and helpful people.
