Very comfy beds.
Arrived 10 minutes before check in and was rudely greeted by person at desk, telling me check in is not until 3:00. I had just driven several hours and only said hello to her. After she started a line of people waiting to check in , she left. Apparently her shift was over and left it all on new person who had just showed up. Line of about 30 people waiting to check in had eventually formed. Took a very long time to get checked in after that. No onsite parking. $50 valet is ridiculous.

it’s a nice hotel, located close to shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly, however they gave me a room facing the wall. The room was clean and it has a nice layout. the beds were comfortable and nice pillows. The breakfast was nice. The coffee was good. check out at 12!! the hotel is really close to a public parking garage which is $12 daily. the hotel has valet parking but I think it $39. ( I don’t like when other people drive my car+ I always forget something there and I had to go back and get it) so parking garage is best for me.
no microwave nor refrigerator. Getting the WIFE was a little hard, the fields to fill out the info didn’t pop out automatically. Before going to bed I’d like to take a bath, I filled the bath just to find out how dirty it was. I called guess services to complain. they said that no one is available to clean the tub, so I have to switch rooms. I had to change and get down to get the key, picked up everything and we moved to a different room, I went to the bathroom straight away to check the bath and it was dirty, hairs all over. just filthy! I wanted to call again but I knew every room was going to be the same. thank goodness I had flip flops so I just took a quick shower. This time the room had a nice view at least.

We thought the desk staff were absolutely the best. They gave us tons of helpful information about Cleveland, they were friendly, and all of them were just nice to deal with. The rooms were clean, and in good condition when we arrived. The Valet parking for the hotel was an excellent way for us to get the car taken care of during our visit. They were quick and had our car ready on time.
We did not like the fact that housekeeping tends to the room every other day. We arrived on a Sunday and left on Wednesday, and they never serviced our room. Our trash was full, and we had to ask them for fresh towels. Another thing that will make us think twice about Hampton Inn's in general, is the policy that all rooms must be pet friendly. The folks at the desk told us that was the new policy of the Hilton group for Hampton Inn. We have a family member who is super allergic to animals, and unless we can be assured of a non-pet friendly room, this will probably be the last time we stay at a Hampton Inn. That is a shame as it is our favorite hotel chain.

The electric shades that you can control to open or close.
There's only one valet person checking-in and getting cars. So it took at least 15 minutes to get the car back. Also, there's only one person working the breakfast counter setup and she's overworked and underpaid. These two (the valet) and breakfast counter person deserve kudos and great recognition for their hard work. The downtown traffic noise is very loud and the window does not block that out. You can hear loud motorcycles roaring through the night.

The room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was a full menu and the food was hot and tasty. Lots of choices.
We arrived around 7 PM on a Sunday. In a large city like Cleveland, you would think there would be some place to eat in walking distance. That was not the case. Everything was closed at 8:00 PM on Sunday. Also, multiple bums and homeless people on and all around the Hotel property. A few were very aggressive and some shouting and vulgar language was used by them. Not directly the fault of the Hotel but not great either.

Decent hotel in a good, central location. The room was nice and what we would expect for this brand.
Upon arrival we were charged a different price than what we booked through Bookings.com. I showed the woman my confirmation email with the total price, and she told me 'that was booked through a third party' and that my actual price was different. After I spent time calling Bookings.com to have this addressed, the hotel staff was then able to change my rate to the rate I booked. For some reason, the woman at the desk seemed to have a lot of attitude with me over the fact that my reservation was for a different price than what she was telling me, despite the fact I was showing her my confirmation. It did not start our stay off on the right foot. The rest of the staff was very nice.

The location was great - we were in town for the Rock Hall ceremonies and this hotel was in walking distance of Rocket Mortgage Arena (where the show was held), the Rock Hall itself, and the restaurant we picked for before the ceremonies. The staff was wonderful as well. Always friendly and super helpful both when we arrived and when we checked out.
I can't really think of much not to like. We had no issues during our stay.

Location in downtown CLE was excellent, walking to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Progressive stadium, Browns stadium, many restaurants so close. It really is an ideal location. Breakfast was premade and was generally quite good. Room (2 queen) was fairly sized and beds were comfortable (although a little creaky).
While location was excellent, our room faced E 9th St, which had emergency vehicle traffic and loud obnoxious motorcycle noise we could hear (8th floor); although that was balanced with a gorgeous view of a Catholic Church directly in front of our window and a partial view of the lake as well as full view of downtown.

Location. Staff was helpful with questions about area and friendly, not just front desk associates, but including the few run ins with housekeeping and maintenance as well.
Could use a larger table/desk, an additional chair and larger or more pillows in room. Had a tiny desk area, 1 chair and the pillows were too soft, almost pointless. Also, the bags of water bottle at check in counter with handwritten signs are not attractive to see as well as the fact that they are labeled for specific Hilton members and not all guest on hot summer days. Move to another location out of view. It’s tacky!

Good breakfast
Parking at the hotel was valet parking only at $45. Self park is at a parking garage round the corner. It said it was full, but I found it on a parking app. It cost $25, but had to be prebooked, which I did pulled up at the side of the road. On entering the car park it was empty!! It would have been helpful to know this in the hotel info, instead of finding out when we pulled up at the hotel after a 4hr drive!
