The Holiday Inn Express at the Yukon location is exceptional; 10 miles+ to downtown, sufficient parking with lots of lighting throughout, short walking distance to restaurants, nice outdoor mall, Target, Lowes AND an Aldi grocery store is around the corner! The Freeway is less than a .25 of a mile and easy to get to. The hotel facilities are top notch; very up to date, modern simple decor; the room we stayed in was fresh and clean, bright beautiful view of local surroundings, has a mini keurig coffee machine, mini fridge, iron/ironing board. The beds are modern, extremely comfy and fresh bedding and a flat screen TV. The Bathroom is modern with plenty of clean, fluffy towels and, can I just say...the soap hardware feature is the BEST IDEA EVER...they keep the hand soap and haircare contained. The Dove skincare line is an awesome automatic win for me. The lobby is well designed for many patrons to sit and the breakfast area is well stocked, there's even a 24 hr access refrigerator of healthy foods, drinks and microwaveable items...very nice touch! The employees are cheerful, very professional and knowledgeable and ready to help. I find this location is  perfectly located and priced well! I can't say enough!

The a/c unit...the temperature was too cold, you can't adjust the temperature...however, If you just switch on the fan feature (not the a/c) you get air circulation which will help greatly. Fortunately, the room wasn't warm and humid despite the very warm weather. The first night my husband and I stayed, it was brutally cold, but we figured with just the fan on, we slept very well. I dont really watch TV, however, my husband does, lol. You can't get Netflix or YouTube, etc or cast from a  phone or smart device. You're relegated to watching cable TV, i.e. local news.

The staff were so friendly and helpful when people started smelling someone smoking on our floor! They got right to work finding the people who were doing it, but not sure they were ever able to find the culprit because the entire floor reared of cigarette smoke!

That as the front desk was being told that someone was smoking on that floor, and told the whole floor smelled like cigarette smoke, we were sent to that floor as our room was located there. Then we were immediately called and reminded that smoking was not allowed in the rooms. I assume because that’s how they were trying to handle the issue.

The breakfast had many options and was always kept full and clean! The morning staff was very very friendly! We traveled with my service dog (thats still in training) and the hotel staff was very friendly to her! The room was very well lit! Lights placed in places that normally are not lit! That was a surprise! We will definitely stay here again!

Everything! The staff, the cleanliness, the quality of the entire facility. I loved that they had quality shampoo and conditioner (Dove) available in the room. I always have to take my own due to junk stuff most hotels offer..

It was a little confusing to get to the hotel, but definitely worth it. Finding the room light switches was different.

This hotel was the best on our cross country trip! Breakfast was great. The cinnamon rolls were delicious. It was clean with a large tv and comfortable bed. Dove products is a plus for me because I have eczema. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Wish all hotels were this awesome!!

have been traveling for weeks and have stayed in 5 hotels. Finally, a great breakfast! many options and food looked and smelled appealing! Like the Keurig inside the room. Shower was great! Best hotel We have stayed at in a long time.

The pool was VERY dirty. Day of check in water was murky with a cigarette but in the pool. Upon checkout, pumps were off so water was brown from swimmers dirt!

Facilities very clean. Location was great. Plenty of restaurants in area. Breakfast was delicious and had a lot of diversity.

There wasn't anything we were dissatisfied with.

Staff was pleasant. This was our second time staying here and we chose it because we knew we enjoyed ourselves last time. We are locals and we LOVE to take "staycations". Even with the painters there, there was very little noise. A very quiet hotel. There's also very little noise Ensuite. we were right by the elevators and hardly heard them. Look for my previous review to get more details about this hotel.

*It was a little rough going in and out the main entrance with the painters there. *We asked for a king bed, we got two queen beds. *Short breakfast hours- When we stay a whole weekend, it would be nice to be able to sleep in and get breakfast a little later.

When we first got there, check in was busy but very easy. The staff at the desk was very friendly. We got to our room and it was sparkling clean. I'm very particular about the room I stay in, and the first thing I check is the A/C. Filters and vents were CLEAN! The bathroom was stocked with ample towels, washcloths and toiletries for a weekend stay. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are in dispensers are on the wall in the shower and it looks like Watkins brand. For a weekend, it was rather quiet in the room although there was a lot of foot traffic and the hotel was rather full. Rooms seem to be adequately sound proof. You do however hear people walking above you if you're not on the top floor and they are directly above you. It wasn't too bad however. Each room also has a vinyl chain pull down blackout panel instead of curtains which is a very sanitary and economical choice! It kept the room nice and dark even in full sun. This hotel also has an upgraded Keurig coffee station ensuite which is a huge plus to me! Usually I bring my own, and was pleasantly surprised to see one. The main area has a very large TV which we didn't use. There was a large workspace and comfy office chair which I did use for a meeting. Dinner: I highly recommend Logan's right next door to the property. Great food, service and a full bar. There are other choices right up the street if you prefer. Breakfast: Lots of hot/cold choices and is American/ buffet style. Pancakes you make fresh, turkey sausage and pork bacon, biscuits and gravy, cheese omelets and egg white omelets for those concerned about cholesterol. Be aware, their breakfast service is only a matter of a few hours. On the weekends, it is from 7am until 9am. I'm not sure what the time is on weekdays. Pool was open when I stayed but I didn't use it.
