It was adorable! We came in late at night but it felt pretty safe. The check-in post hours wasn’t too complicated and the parking was great! I liked that I could park right in front of my door. I traveled with my sister and my mom. My mom has pretty sensitive skin so she hates staying at hotels and inns because they’re usually never clean enough and causes her to break into rashes. This was not the case here. It was so clean that she had no problems at all! Breakfast was a short walk away, continental style. Boiled eggs, these chocolate chip cake things, yogurt, coffee, decaf, orange juice (I think), oatmeal, and cereal were on the spread. They had this cute patio/deck eating area attached to the lobby/breakfast area. The staff was super nice! My sister forgot something after we checked out and they caught that pretty much as soon as we left. Cleaning service was prompt and they called to make sure we got her items! Lovely!

Just how far it was from I-5. But honestly, it was worth the extra time driving.

We loved the amount of green grass and shade, very dog friendly :). Nice to even get a "doggie basket" at check in The breakfast was an awesome way to start our day! And the general manager was especially friendly and had a great smile! Super comfy bed and pillows! And, awesome shower (hot and excellent pressure!)

We appreciated the almond milk, but maybe another vegan/lactose free alternative at breakfast? (yogurt? muffin?) Pretty expensive dog fees when we are paying nightly rather than for "entire stay"

The location felt safe and it was sooo easy to walk to the town of Jacksonville. An espresso cafe and brewery were within a couple short blocks toward town. We also loved the inn's private, separate outdoor sitting area with Adirondack chairs and a fence of grape vines with grapes to munch on.

Lack of bread goods...perhaps include choices of bagels, croissants, and perhaps toast.

This will be our new favorite getaway for a quiet and peaceful retreat, not far from where we live. We love going to the coast but decided to try this place out instead and were so glad we did. Yes, the ocean is wonderful, but we can pay the same price we did for this amazing place and only get half the quality and service we got here. The hosts were friendly and well dressed, which we felt was a showcase for the property. Everything was to our liking, it was clean and the room we had was spacious and modern. There were seating areas in the garden throughout the property. which was very nice and it was within walking distance of the picturesque township. We enjoyed breakfast out on the deck. They have organic snacks and wine for sale at the front desk. We have stayed at many places and this one is right up the top of our list.

We didn't have a microwave in our room but found out after our stay that if we request one when booking, they will make sure to have one put into our room. We also had a problem with the TV which was taken care of immediately, it turned out to be a faulty remote. Great job.

Grounds well maintained, great location, liked the continental breakfast

Linens only changed every 4 days (we were there 5 nights and our linens were never changed). Also asked for a microwave and it seemed like a big deal for them to bring us one (even though when booking it says microwaves available upon request)

The room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed and reading chair. It was pretty close to the main street in Jacksonville, about a 10 minute walk away. I enjoyed the outdoor seating areas, as they provided options for where to spend time when at the hotel.

The room was a bit on dark, it may have been because of the direction the room faced, but either way the lighting could use an adjustment. Breakfast was complimentary, but didn't provide many options so we chose to dine out both mornings.

It was a very clean, spacious room, and property was nice. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The coffee and breakfast were nice to get us going in the morning.

It felt like everything was so loud. The shower was loud, the fan was loud, the AC was loud (even on low), the mini fridge was loud, the (infrequent) traffic was loud. The shower pressure was so intense- my companion said it “could have knocked my grandmother over- maybe not suitable for elderly people” and “it was exfoliating”. I’ve never complained about too much pressure before but…

Front Desk Staff person (Friday afternoon) was a delightful woman. Very helpful and very kind. We loved all the outdoor seating around the property, there were 4-top tables, aidirondack chairs, and benches near hotel rooms to simply sit outside and enjoy the morning air. It is a pretty little property, nicely upgraded.

The room was immaculate. Room was recently updated, no carpet which I love. Large room, had 2 queen beds had a room at back of property, very quiet. Though all streets are pretty quiet at night in Jacksonville, it is a small town. The employees were all very friendly and competent. Let us know right off if we had any problems to let them know with 24 hour number. Breakfast was typical fruit, muffins, yogurt, cereal with locally roasted and excellent coffee. Grocery store and great breakfast place in short walking distance.

I can't think of anything and I am pretty picky.

The hotel and grounds were well kept and had a few places to sit outside. I would recommend it if you are able to make the long-ish walk to town.

Room was very light while trying to sleep. There may have been an overhead outdoor light right above our window. The price was lower than most hotels in the area but there are options that are much closer to town if you want to pay a more. I also thought the pillows were uncomfortably puffy. So take a sleep mask and bring your own pillow!
