Room view, car parking, room quality, location. Excellent location and wonderful views. Very friendly and informative staff. Like the idea that breakfast is taken in your room or outside if desired.

Pets allowed. Dogs barking. Not happy that dogs were apparently allowed in the hotel. A dog was barking during the evening in a room somewhere adjacent to the one we stayed in. Although there was no evidence of a dog been kept in the room we used, it detracted from the enjoyment of the stay. If selected rooms are allocated to allow pets, then fine, but the worry is that pets can be allowed in any room.

Everything! Tad was so helpful in optimizing our experience with information and support. It could have been a horribly sad situation in that we (3 friends) were picking up the artfully encased remains of her 15 year old daughter, but it was a hugely supportive time for us friends. I felt that they were there to do what they could do to help us celebrate a young life without any additional worries about lodging. One friend asked that her 2 beautiful flowering plants be placed on the balcony before us other 2 girls arrived. They gave us the feeling they would do anything to make our trip better. Above and beyond.

Great staff, clean bedroom and the fire pit/sand area is awesome! Very relaxing to sit on the balcony to watch and listen to the ocean.

Pool and surrounding area could have a little more cleaning attention. Balcony could use a good scrub down as well, not extremely dirty but could be kept up a little more. Key cards don't work if they sit next to an electronic item (cell phone, tablet, etc.), which would have been nice to have been told. This seems like a lot to say bad, BUT IT IS ALL SO MINOR AND NIT-PICK because I'm being asked :-)

It was beautiful. It was my husband and I’s 6 year anniversary, I let them know this ahead of time, and for free they stocked our room with a 6-piece box of chocolates, 1 bottle of non-alcoholic rosé, a 6-piece bag of salt water taffy, 2 disposable water bottles, rose pedals shaped like a heart on the bed, 2 balloons(1 yellow happy anniversary balloon/1 white heart shaped balloon) and an anniversary card. All beautiful additions to a gorgeous room that simply made me gasp when I walked in and the room was all white and marble and clean.

Construction started very early on the hotel next to our room and woke my husband up around 8 am.

View & room were amazing, one of my favorite places to stay in Newport staff were very kind.

Was a bummer to find out that rooms are only cleaned on request. Found this out after being out of the room today & walking back in to our piles of dirty towels still on the floor. This wasn’t ever brought up to us, so we didn’t know. We’re able to get clean towels delivered after calling. But something about coming back to the room put together makes for a good vacation when you’re a mom who does it all.

We loved the view. All of the staff that I had to work with were professional & caring. They listened to my problems and tried to find a way to help. Sadly other than changing rooms, they couldn't help.

Sadly, the highth of the beds were very, very difficult for me to manage. I was expecting an ADA Room. But due to my having to have 2 beds, we could not have an ADA room. I was not expecting to need a step stool just to crawl onto the bed. I will be aware of this when I reserve my next stay.

It was lovely viewing the ocean from the room and listening to the waves all night. The room had 2 queen beds and a small couch and a fireplace so was very comfortable. The location and parking were also excellent. We liked the prepackaged breakfast to take back to our room since Covid seems to be making a return. We liked the firepits.

The beds are extremely high - we needed to use the footstools to get in the beds! I am only 5’3” but my husband is over 6 feet and even he had trouble getting into bed. Weird! These are not suites with a separate bedroom so don’t be disappointed. The bathroom was very small, requiring you to shut the door to sit on the toilet.

The room was very comfortable and we loved the salmon chowder every evening. The view was fantastic and we saw whales from the balcony. My mother loved the coffee machine and I'll be purchasing one for our home for her. Parking was off the street and very easy to use. While there is no direct access to the beach from the hotel the access is just down the street and is in very easy walking distance. With my mother having to use a transfer chair because of her age and arthritis the elevators were a necessity for us and one of the main reasons I choose this hotel. It was a fantastic choice.

Three things vexed me about our stay. 1. While the beds were very comfortable for a night they are a bit soft for over a two night stay. While we loved staying at this hotel we welcomed coming home to our firmer mattress'. 2. The Alarm clock was very dim and I was unable to change that despite there being buttons on it to do so. Also I was not able to set the clock for an alarm (I went and purchased an alarm for our stay as I need a new one at home). 3. The electrical plugs are very loose and I was unable to plug in my charger for my phone in any of the sockets. I was able to find an outlet for the alarm clock which has a charger port on it so I was able to charge my phone using that.

The room was exceptionally quiet, pleasant well maintained. Breakfast in the lobby was a nice feature and the food was decent. Cookies in the evening was a nice touch as well.

The balcony door latch did was not operating and didn't secure the door. The room was extremely dark at night, might be nice to have a dimmer switch on one of the lights. The tv casting feature was a plus as it allowed me to play some of my own steaming content, great picture too. The sofa was a bit uncomfortable.

everything about the hotel was real nice in general.. continental breakfast was good.. clam chowder on friday was great note it was Ivars clam chowder and we are from Seattle Ha Ha, .. there were 4 pillows on each bed and each pillow was a different kind of pillow, foam, feather, etc.

a little mold bathroom ceiling, bathroom light cover missing, glass railing on deck was half off along the top, the outer deck area in general was kind of dirty. Small stuff, but one of the more expensive hotels along the beach... the elevator on the north end drops to the parking lot, have to walk outdoors to get to lobby not a big deal except during storming weather
