The fire pit was not working and the ice ice machine did not work

Fantastic room, right on the ocean, very comfortable bed! Staff was super helpful, they came and fixed the gas fireplace within minutes of us notifying them it wasn't working.

Parking could have been a little more convenient.

We loved the cozy beds, jetted bath tubs, and ocean view. We also appreciated how hard the housekeepers worked to make our room immaculate before we arrived. Staff went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable during our stay and I appreciated that they knew which places were open during the holidays for us to grab dinner.

The check-in process was a little confusing, we were not aware of where to check in once we arrived. I called the phone # from google for Prom at the Inn to try and figure out where we needed to go and saw the caller ID show the Gilbert Inn across the street and that's when we realized the check in was in a different property across the street at Gilbert Inn.

The location is extremely convenient and worked perfect for us to enjoy both Seaside and Cannon beach. The room was also cozy and comfortable even though it was on the smaller size. The bathroom and tub/shower was very nice, bring your own step stool for little ones to reach the sink.

The room had little privacy and there were ants in the kitchenette that we had to deal with. There is no AC only a separate tower fan to use so it would be uncomfortable in warmer weather, luckily we were there in the early fall but it was still often too warm or stuffy. The foldout mattress was dirty.

Location and views were perfect! Loved watching the sunset every night.

We were locked out of our room several times during our stay which was horrible. We were even stuck outside once for about 45mins later in the evening while it was pouring rain. Apparently they had changed the locks at some point earlier that day and not let us know we needed to come get new keys. It made an otherwise great experience into a bad one. We wouldn’t stay here again because of the lack of communication.

I liked that it was ocean view and we had a private patio. The tub was amazing and I appreciated that they offered shampoo, conditioner and body wash in large dispensers as opposed to the small bottles most hotels offer.

There were no dressers. The spa tub was in the bathroom and not where we could see the ocean from it. I also feel the room was ovepriced for what we paid despite it being off season. The staff was mildly disconnected at check in, like we disturbed their facebooking!

I liked how close it was to the main street, to restaurants and to the beach. We walked to the aquarium and all over the beachfront. It was a convenient location to be able to return back to the room when our little kids needed breaks.

I didn't realize that I would be charged for parking at this hotel. Either I misread the information or it wasn't stated. But once I got the bill I saw that I was charged for parking.

Our room had an ocean view with a deck (which we didn't get to take advantage of because it rained most of the time haha), but the view of the beach/water was great. The jetted tub was awesome. There was a gas fireplace which was super cozy. The room was quite large and the kitchenette was well stocked.

The walls were a bit thin, we could hear our neighbours quite easily.

The cozy, apartment style room was so cute and clean! The location allowed us to park and walk the rest of our stay.

Parking was a little bit confusing, our truck wouldn't fit in the tiny lot and we parked in, what we thought was still the hotel parking on the other side of our room, then as we were leaving, I saw the tiny sign that said more parking over on the opposite side from where we had parked. Good thing we didn't get towed or something.

The location is amazing! We had a deluxe ocean-view room on the lower floor. To be able to simply sit out on the porch and watch the sunset over the ocean as people walk by on the boardwalk was amazing in and of itself, but to be a short walk (straight out the gate of the room's porch railing) to the restaurants and shops meant that there were no dull moments and, regardless of the weather, made it feel like all of Seaside was at our fingertips at all times...so much so that we didn't even move our car once after checking in. P.S. a soak in the luxurious jetted tub is an incredible way to end an evening before slipping under the covers of the very comfortable king-size bed!

The room gets really stuffy on hot days! There's no AC, but the Inn provides a very effective verticle fan that circulates the air. AC used to not be needed on the coast, but the weather over recent years has gotten hotter for longer. Also, the room is quite small. With that said, it has everything you need to be comfortable+.
