I've stayed here many times pre-covid. I enjoy the location, it's quiet but close to everything. Rooms are spacious.

Disappointed this stay with a few things. 1st time being on 4th floor and the Bed was harder than I'd expected. They were out of everything at breakfast except bagels and cereal. Only big towels were by the shower, rest were outside of the bathroom, just an inconvenience when your already wet and looking for a washcloth. Was hard to understand the man checking me in.

I loved the room- modern and comfortable. Breakfast was good as well, but crowded! They almost need to have a larger space. Food choices were good. I liked the pool and the close proximity to stores, restaurants, and Sesame Place.

The cabinet that holds the fridge and microwave had a broken door, maintenance did come and pop the hinges back into place but that wasn’t a permanent fix for sure. Maybe the next guest will get it resolved. Everything else was good!

Pool opened @ 8! Great hot breakfast. Comfortable beds. Clean room. Only about a mile from Sesame Place.

The $100 hold they put on your card for incidentals. You get it back after you check out but it takes 5-7 days to go back on your card, even a debit card. I've been traveling consistently over the past 6 years and have never had this done before. Thats why hotels require a card to pay for your room so if there is incidentals they have a card on file.

Clean, nice pool

Toilet tank was leaking,wasting water, and the toilet seat was VERY loose creating a safety hazard. Someone could have easily slipped off, breaking the thin plastive seat and cracking their tail bone. I reported both items before our breakfast on the first full day . The desk staff indicated they would report it to and that it would be addressed shortly. We got back from Sesame Place at 6PM and neither item was fixed. It wasn't until the next day after reporting it a second day that the toilet seat was fixed. The toilet tank was still leaking when we left. The toilet seat was a five minute job if I had a wrench.

After some issues with the room (more specifically the people before us who had the room) we were able to get in. We reserved the suite. It sounded like this was the only suite in the hotel, so there was no other accommodations available had the situation not been rectified. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast was good, the pancake machine was cool! There's coffee available for anytime of day in the lobby. We went to Sesame Place, so the location was perfect and 2 minutes away.

That our room was the only suite and the people before us caused issues, creating over an hour delay with a screaming 2 year old in the car.

We had a wonderful experience at Holiday Inn Express Philadelphia. The room was clean and comfortable, offering a pleasant and relaxing stay. The added advantage of being close to Sesame Place made it even more enjoyable.

No drinking water in the room and disappointing breakfast experience.

Great location north of phila just off of rout 1 and 95 oops 295. Why they change a Rd that has been around for decades no idea. Great staff. Good breakfast. Area has changed since last visit and growing up in area 10 years ago. 2 things of constructive criticism. Need more pillows. The coffee you serve is really horrible. Needs to be more mild. It can kill weeds it's that bad. I will definitely stay here again.

The room was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable. The staff were friendly, nothing seemed out of place. Was a comfortable room for the family.

There was a fire alarm one morning of our stay at 7:30. Not exactly a fault of the hotel, though. Thankfully just a false alarm.

Breakfast was great, many options for kids as well.

Alarm went off a few times when people exited a side door. With a baby and an alarm going off very unsatisfied. We thought it was an alarm until we had to ask someone what was going on.

The room was great except the bed was moved closer to the entrance instead of facing the TV set. I liked the new furniture style it makes the room a lot bigger and comfortable unlike the heavy pieces that take up the little space in it. The refrigerator had to be cleaned from the ice formation due to not closing properly. The toilet seat was a little off it was moving side ways each time we use the toilet. All issues were fixed within the same day of complaint. Kuddos to your staff. Hotel staff superb excellent customer skills. I'll stay there again and will let friends know as well to stay there or whenever Holiday Express is located. Breakfast was ok long lines though but staff again great smile and a lots of patience handling the many different requests. Front desk very friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable. Overall a pleasant stay.
