The room was very spacious and had just the view we were looking for. We were allowed early check-in and really appreciated the late check out time of noon. Clean and comfortable. Room included a mini fridge which we took advantage of. Appreciated the friendly and prompt room service but wouldn’t eat there again. Dinner was not enjoyable and breakfast wasn’t good either. How can you mess up poached eggs? We will definitely return but we’ll arrange for food outside the hotel.

The food! While the menu looked interesting, the food we ordered was not good.

Excellent location close to the main attractions and great night life. Superb gym. Good food and drink at the bar. All staff super friendly and helpful. The aircon in my room was not working and they sent the engineer to help. After troubleshooting and not able to resolve the issue they moved me up to a new room.

The pool was too cold and needs updating. Having to change rooms due to an air conditioning issue was a pain, but I was moved from 6th floor to 9th floor so I profited from a better view and they compted me a drink at the bar so that was nice compensation for the hassle of moving.

The location is in the heart of the historic national park district making it extremely walkable to so many sites and museums. The lobby has many choices of cosy areas to sit with friends along with bar and eating areas. The handicap accessible room was fabulous! Perfect for me to get around even in my wheelchair. The most impressive was the customer care. The hostess Kelly and “doorman” Shine were over the top with their warm, helpful personalities. I will stay here every time I come to the city from now on.

Location was superb, room was very spacious, with a king size bed, coffee machine, and other niceties. Though it said no free Wi-Fi, it is free for Marriott members (membership is free, you do need to register and give them your details).

Breakfast was very modest ('À la carte') and included a choice of juice or coffee, not both, and a choice of a sweet pastry or a bagel (with no spreads), again just one of them, and a fresh fruit bowl.

Location! Front desk staff! Concierge!

Restaurant was convenient but TERRIBLE service! I myself & also others (watched) - no one greets you or says you upon entry until you can get the attention of a server after several tries. A hostess might be a good addition. If that’s not in the budget, then train the servers to “notice” new patrons as they enter the restaurant.

Breakfast was great.

Dining staff was very nice which is half the battle but very forgetful and seemed to lack training. It was a little annoying when they would forget the same things 3 days in a row. like a spoon, toast, butter, meat on the side and when you reminded them they forgot again.

You couldn’t ask for a better location to stay while visiting Philly. Right down the street from some of our nations most important monuments (Independence Hall, Liberty Bell) and Philly’s best restaurants and bars. The hotel staff and valet were also incredibly friendly and hard working. The front desk upon arrival and checkout were so sweet and friendly, it seemed like they genuinely loved their jobs. We also travelled with two dogs and they made us feel welcome with our pets.

Our room was a little dark, the view outside our window didn’t let in any light and there were not enough light fixtures for adequate lighting. On the second day the handle came off the shower in the bathroom and although we were able to get it back on the hardware didn’t seem installed securely. The walls were also really thin which allowed us to hear our neighbors pretty clearly, although sometimes to be expected in larger hotels.

Easy to locate and very clean. Staff was great and very pleasant. I’m an Eagles fan from Connecticut. I stay last weekend 3 days and I will be back this weekend for 2 days

Only thing is I had to ask for a blanket. I wish with it being winter that the blanket was on the bed or in the room.

The location was impeccable! The staff were so so friendly and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and our view of the historic area was great. The gym was great.

The pool was very small and not kept up well. Some elements of the room could use some updating/fixing.

Great location to visit historical sites. Can just about walk to everything or access mass transit. Clean and had everything you needed. Bed was comfortable. Staff were helpful for dinner options. We were pretty busy, so didn't have a chance to use any of the facilities on site.

Bathroom lights were on the dim side.
