Location is great, nice and quiet, not far from Strasburg and Lincoln Highway - about 4 miles from Tangers Outlets. Katies Kitchen just down the road towards Lincoln Highway is worth a visit excellent food. Since the rebuild I notice that the Amish folk do not seem to be there now (early December) and the food prices have gone up quite a lot an Adult Breakfast is now $19.99, Adult Weekday Lunch $24.99, Weekday Dinner $31.99 unlimited beverages $3.99, Saturday Lunch $32.99, Saturday Dinner $39.99, we were having the breakfast as it was included in our room and we ate out the rest of the day - but for what we ate no way was it worth $19.99.

Cute place. All the staff are above friendly & just plain nice people! The rooms are small & quaint. Always very clean & have everything needed for a comfortable stay. The all day/ night coffee in the lobby was used & appreciated. They are under construction after a fire in the restaurant but they still had a nice breakfast in the main hotel. I would recommend this hotel. The area is very beautiful.

I wish there was an outdoor area to sit. We were in the carriage house & there were some benches but not for each room so if they were in use others were out of luck. Once the weather is warmer i guess the pool area would be avail.

Staff was most generous and helpful. Check in and out was easy. Good heating in room but not in bathroom. Very clean room/bath, plus 50–55-inch mounted TV. Complimentary breakfast was good; they had buffet style but on smaller scale. I had wished the restaurant was opening but the grill was open for fresh omelets. Variety of breads including biscuits, grits, ham (very low sodium), sausage but (no bacon), scrambled eggs, creamed chipped beef, sticky buns, and a variety of flavored pancakes. Waffle maker available. Very relaxing ambience overlooking a pond and nice staff. I would like to state for the record, Hershey Farm Resort breakfast, lunch, and dinner (when the restaurant is open) is AWESOME! First time staying but been here many times for their buffets. Overall, this is a beautiful place to stay and the only reason I gave the stay an "8" was due to some small inconvenience's due to the weather.

No heat in bathroom and thereby, making the floors very cold. Vending machine was outside and around the corner from our room. I think ice machine was in Main Lobby and that was way far and cold to come out at night. I wish they had complimentary water in the rooms.

Location, breakfast and dinner was excellent. Good value. Staff was excellent, no trouble when requested moving to a different room.

Rooms need some improvements. Blackout shades would be a good start. Started out in the carriage house the first night but then asked to move to main building for the rest of our stay because lights on the porch were so bright seemed like lights were on in the room all night. Facility is fantastic but rooms are old and dated.

We loved the new building especially the restaurant which was really a great place to set an eat your meal. The only bad point here was the lack of fruit choices because my wife and I like fruit for breakfast. Some of the food was cold or luke warm. The waitresses were really nice and very pleasant. As for the room it was pleasant to stay but rather small and I think were a little on expensive side. This was our seventh time staying here and it is because we can walk to the Sight and Sound Plays from here which is an added attraction to the Resort.

The size of the room and col or luke warm breakfast food, plus the lack of fruit.

Proximity to Sight & Sound and other venues. Beautiful scenic farm country. Front office staff - Meagan - is an awesome! She remembered me and her recommendations for local sightseeing were spot on!

Towels were old and tired. For the price we paid other hotels offer luxurious towels. Quality of soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc is also in need of upgrade for the price being paid by guests. Rather than bathtubs there should be showers. Bathtub was very slippery and I almost fell twice. Each tub should have some anti-slippery strips.

Location was fantastic. The resort was very good. We stayed in the main building. Our room was nice. Balcony/patio was beautiful, as was our view. The shower was awesome. The grounds were beautiful. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The buffet and Cafe had great food.

Bed was just Ok. The bathroom had a small toilet area that was difficult to use. The soap was awful... never felt fully rinsed off. The walls are paper thin, enabling you to hear everything going on in next-door rooms and the hallway. That was a major negative for us. There also was no kleenex in the room.

Farmhouse was great BUT I understand that the lighting outside is for safety purposes and security however we stayed in room 590 and the lights are so bright it’s like the sun is almost shining in the room. For someone who likes to sleep with the room very dark this was quite disappointing. I ended up hanging my clothes around the windows so I could at least black out about a fourth of the light by my head. I suggest that you put some room filtering or room darkening shades in those rooms. I would love to come back and stay in those exact rooms but I will not do that because it’s hard to sleep when it’s so bright I actually have a picture if you’d like to see it how bright it was even with my window covered.

Staff was helpful. Rooms were clean. Walking distance to Sight and Sound Theater. Breakfast buffet provided as well as made to order omelets, French toast and Belgian waffles, coffee and juice with friendly servers . We were moved to a different room with a view of the lake and pool when problems were communicated to staff.

There is major construction happening and travelers should be aware. The first room we were given did not match up with the Booking.com description. The room had a fence view and there was an excavator actively working 4 feet from our door.

Our stay at Hershey Farm Inn was absolutely amazing. The front desk staff was so incredibly friendly, our room was spacious and cozy, and we absolutely loved feeding the farm animals in the morning. Hershey Farm Inn is located right next to Sight and Sound Theater, in fact, you can walk over! Saving ourselves the trouble of waiting in the massive parade of cars to leave was such a blessing. Also, the breakfast is out of this world!! The buffet is amazing, and I highly recommend the made-to-order omelets and the creme brulee French toast for no extra charge! It was so delicious. I look forward to staying here again sometime in the future. Once the renovations and construction due to the tragic fire is finished, the atmosphere will be even nicer and more charming!
