Proximity to Sight & Sound and other venues. Beautiful scenic farm country. Front office staff - Meagan - is an awesome! She remembered me and her recommendations for local sightseeing were spot on!

Towels were old and tired. For the price we paid other hotels offer luxurious towels. Quality of soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc is also in need of upgrade for the price being paid by guests. Rather than bathtubs there should be showers. Bathtub was very slippery and I almost fell twice. Each tub should have some anti-slippery strips.

Food great staff great rooms great

Farmhouse was great BUT I understand that the lighting outside is for safety purposes and security however we stayed in room 590 and the lights are so bright it’s like the sun is almost shining in the room. For someone who likes to sleep with the room very dark this was quite disappointing. I ended up hanging my clothes around the windows so I could at least black out about a fourth of the light by my head. I suggest that you put some room filtering or room darkening shades in those rooms. I would love to come back and stay in those exact rooms but I will not do that because it’s hard to sleep when it’s so bright I actually have a picture if you’d like to see it how bright it was even with my window covered.

Our stay at Hershey Farm Inn was absolutely amazing. The front desk staff was so incredibly friendly, our room was spacious and cozy, and we absolutely loved feeding the farm animals in the morning. Hershey Farm Inn is located right next to Sight and Sound Theater, in fact, you can walk over! Saving ourselves the trouble of waiting in the massive parade of cars to leave was such a blessing. Also, the breakfast is out of this world!! The buffet is amazing, and I highly recommend the made-to-order omelets and the creme brulee French toast for no extra charge! It was so delicious. I look forward to staying here again sometime in the future. Once the renovations and construction due to the tragic fire is finished, the atmosphere will be even nicer and more charming!

Breakfast was delicious, scenery was beautiful despite construction, great nice and friendly staff, loved seeing the farm animals!

Bathtub was clogged, bottom of the shower curtain was dirty, door to bathroom got stuck multiple times. I loved seeing the goals though the staff who takes care of them should notice there are 2 goats in each house that bully their partner they stay with. I think the staff should separate them because the bullied goat was scared to walk past him to get food we were trying to feed them

We loved the room and the balcony, as well as the bathroom. The property was gorgeous and we loved all it had to offer. The staff was amazingly nice, and the cooks who made breakfast put a smile on our faces every day. The animals out back also are so cute and love people!

I wish it would not have been over 200 for a night considering the construction, which we didn't mind very much, but it still takes away a bit from the normal experience with the restaurant and shops being rebuilt. I would hope in the future the price would be lowered a bit considering the noise from construction. Despite this, they still made it an excellent experience and the breakfast they offered was top notch and great country cooking. I would highly recommend this stay!

From the front desk with Megan and Amanda to the cleaning staff to the complementary breakfast with Angel, Keith, Abbie (? on her name…sorry)! All the staff were wonderful, kind, professional, and very accommodating!! I hope I got their names right and I wish I got the cleaning staff, because everyone went above and beyond!! I will be back in June or August of this year or both!! The pool was obviously closed as it was too cold, but they have food you can purchase for a dollar bag which was well worth it for the animals down by the barn, and also all the ducks and geese behind the facility near the pond!! They have a walking path and a driving path straight to Sight & Sound Theater right behind them…just awesome placement and looking forward to the gift shop and restaurant reopening in 2024 after the fire last year. 🙏🏻

There was only one issue which I told the front desk about. The trash pick up for the dumpster on the backside of the hotel took place at 5:57 AM and that is way too early for a hotel with folks being on vacation and wanting to sleep in. He backed up to pick it up and backed up five minutes later to drop a new dumpster off while beeping for 3 to 5 minutes each time. It successfully woke everyone up in the room. But that’s the only complaint and hopefully they’ll be able to work out a different schedule for that pick up in the future.

The free breakfast was a delicious smorgasbord. The landscape was breathtaking and the farm animals were a joy.

The room, itself, was small and looked plain and non-luxurious. The price (well over $200 per night) was expensive.

Their big restaurant had burned down in Jan so they are improvising very nicely providing a full breakfast, made to order omlettes, creme boule French toast and much more (free for guests with reservation) Waitstaff is very hospitable, friendly and loyal to the Hershey Farm Inn. The reception staff is very friendly and make fresh fruit smoothies and ice cream sundaes 24 hours/day. Outdoor pool was refreshing and lounge chairs, pergola/umbrellas provided comfort and areas for sun or shade. Walking trail to Sight and Sound theater, pond, gardens were very nice.

Elevator would be nice. We were told they are beginning an expansion June 2023 that will rebuild the restaurant, install an elevator and have an indoor pool and small fitness center along with an addition of 60 more rooms.

The staff when you checked in and out were exceptional. The breakfast was GREAT and the waitresses were spectacular.

Bed not comfortable. I realize that over the years and the many people that have stayed there, the bed would not be comfortable, so suggestion to check them. AND our total turn off was the stains on the comforter, that was my total TURN OFF. I wrote I note explaining my complaint. Other than that it was a great stay. Kudos to all of the owners/ staff for what they are doing because of the fire that happened to their restaurant.

Spacious and clean room with a nice view. Location to the restaurant and Sight 'n Sound was great. I enjoyed walking around the property on the trail and feeding the animals. Bed was comfortable, shower excellent. Appreciated getting a discount on my dinner at the restaurant. I love the black "makeup" towel...what a great idea! I loved the hair dryer - going to look for one of those to own myself!

I didn't realize when I booked that I was booking 2 rooms in different buildings. Booking.com could do a better job of explaining that - if it was noted, I totally missed it. Appreciate the staff helping me to change rooms so that we'd be in the same building. Seems like the staff wasn't totally equipped to handle this change, but the manager was able to fix everything in the end. You might consider upgrading your rooms to have Smart TVs with Netflix or another streaming service available. Guests can use their own log-ins for those and have better TV/movie selections. Firmer pillows is the only other thing I'd suggest. That kind, now matter how many I stack on top of each other, my head always sinks through.
