I thought the advertisement about the water park was misleading, because in the photos it looked like the park was in front of the hotel and in the end I only saw the father in the photos I stayed at the accommodation for 3 days and didn't even go to the water park, I paid for something that didn't used. From what I saw, the park was at the back of the hotel in a hidden place. that part left something to be desired.

Front desk staff were not friendly or approachable. They need customer service training. At the end of the day, did they help get us checked in? yes. But it almost seemed forced and as if we were a bother. Anytime we walked through the lobby they either had a hoody over their heads or head was down. I’m not asking for overly friendly, but a nice or simple hello to guests would be nice.

Friendly staff. Beautiful view of the ocean. Clean rooms. Easy access to everything!

The indoor pool area was very filthy. Bugs and dust bunnies covered the floors, cockroaches and spiders in the floor creases, the fans that help ventilate the area are rusted and has not been dusted in looks like almost 5 years. The inner edge of the pool/hot tub has caked up scum. I see one person vacuuming the outdoor pool in the mornings but fail to notice the dark brown scum caked in there as well. It’s bad enough when people start writing things on it. Oh and those hard beds really have to go. Waking up every morning with back pain was unreal. I will have to start bringing my own blow up mattress next go around. Oh, and the constant smell of marijuana. 🤢

First of all do not pay any attention to the bad reviews. Our stay was wonderful. The staff upon arrival were very friendly and helpful. They have a map of the property at check in just ask for it. Yes they are under construction only in one small area and trust me it's no big deal. The pool was very clean and pool area was well kept. Yes the water park was closed the week we were there because of staffing but was open Friday thru Sundays which I feel staffing will get better and it will be open 7 days a week when school is out with more high school kids to staff it. Our room was very clean, bathroom and shower was very clean. Stocked with toliet paper with extra rolls, soap, shampoo and conditioner. With clean towels and use you did have to take them to the staff for replacements no big deal and the were nice enough to give you extra if you ask for them. No you do not have room service during your stay but again due to staffing. They will give you a broom for you to tidy up the floor due to sand, again no big deal we swept the floor often took us all of 5 minutes and it was clean and sand free. They view was spectacular. Our stay was great. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay everything we wanted. We will be back next year. Again please don't go on the reviews Yes I read them and was nervous to but when we arrived I was put to ease.

The beds could have been a little better, but not bad. Beds were very clean and linens were fresh and clean.

Loved that my family had things for everyone to do something even our 1 year old. The staff was super nice and handled problems amazingly. There was mold on the shower curtain we had in the room and the lady at the front desk gave me a brand new one since my one year love curtains. Super amazing and will be staying here from now on.

Two things I didn't like was you can hear evwry sound from your neighbors even if they are kinda quite, and some of the railings were broken and could be a health issue if some one or a child would get hurt.

Loved the new lobby. The pool, arcade, and putt putt.

A lot of it seemed to be under construction. The elevators were so slow. They were a 2/10. needed to be taken care of the lights didn’t work to show what floor you were on. The Wi-Fi didn’t work almost the entire time we were there. The kids water park shown in pictures is not at this hotel it’s at the neighboring/ “sister” hotel. which no one even tells about unless you call and ask. They have very little parking. If you have to park In the parking deck there is no elevator so you are walking a good distance back. The hot tub was so full of chemicals it burned your eyes and skin. We couldn’t even enjoy it. Had to get out.

The pool and water park was great. The only thing it’s missing and really needs is outdoor jacuzzi. The pool by the water park is great as is the little kiddie pool. Also, the access to the beach is awesome. AMini golf was nice too.

Way too many weed smokers and one person who played their boom box way too loud and when asked to lower it his response was “hell no”. After that no one bothered him. He partied by the pool until he was done. Also, beds aren’t comfortable for that price tag.

That it was close to the beach. That had a lot of things to do with the kudos.

The air conditioning was not working and the toilet had some issues. They fixed it but they came really late at night to get it fix while I wanted to sleep. Next day they said that they updated my room due to the issues but no one ever reached out to me only reason why the front desk said something was because again I mentioned the toilet was not flushing correctly. never got an update room or a call to see how was everything going or an apology. The maintenance guy did apologize for the time.

I loved being so close to the ocean, and the restaurants next door were super convenient and delicious! The hot tubs and indoor pool felt wonderful! My boys also had a lot of fun at the water park! Kudos! The indoor mini golf was SUPER cool!! I have never seen anything like that before!

I was unaware that the property was going through some construction and our hotels indoor pool was closed. I am definitely thankful that North Shores is part of the sand dunes resorts! Without all of the other pools, restaurants, arcade, etc…. my kids would have been super upset!

The location and view was the best part, and the parking was good. House keeping was fantastic! Very friendly and nice. The girl that checked us in was nice. We liked all the amenities splash park, mini golf, pool and arcade.

The part I didn't like was there was a creepy pool guy on staff. He had very thick lens glasses, Medium height. Never friendly and always smoking right in front of pool. There was also big cockroaches outside on our balcony at night, so we had to avoid our balcony.
