Balcony made the stay comforting being able to relax on the porch after a long day of walking the strip

Internet never would connect and had no cell signal in the room so without wifi we were pretty much in the stone age until we left the property and had cell service again down the street

there was an on site cafe, two pools, we had a “river view”

the bed was hard and the hotel was an older hotel and the room decor doesn’t look like it’s been updated in quite some time but the biggest dis like was the walk to and from the Main Street. it would have been nice to have a shuttle or trolley than did pick ups and drop offs

The food was definitely more home style. Very simple, but decent quality food. Everything included in the facility was in working order except for one jacuzzi. Their system of transportation is really good if you have a little time on your hands and what a nice view. Very cheap and well worth the price for this stay (3 nights)

There was definitely a sense of prejudice from the locals that stayed there with us. The process of using the spa room was annoying and extra. We didn't even get to use it for that reason. It was very clean but a little unsanitary looking in some areas. The indoor pool with too slippery to walk around normal.

The location was close to everything we needed. A short walk from the downtown strip, shops and restaurants, and only a few minutes from outdoor activities in the mountains as well. The Roaring Fork Motor Nature trail was right up the road. Quiet property most of the time minus the construction starting at 730-8am behind our side of the property during the week. The poolside cafe staff were great, cooked good quality food for what was offered on the menu and were very friendly and helpful. The first room we had, tv didn't work, and when we went down to the office instead of making us wait for maintenance the following day, they immediately offered us the room next door instead. Older style hotel, but kept up really well.

The construction started early on some of the days we wanted to sleep in after a long day of hiking and late nights in downtown, the a/c unit in our room squeaked a little on some nights. A microwave in each room would be an added bonus instead of just the general use one located in the office area. Elevator was older and slow, but we just used the stairs instead.

Very friendly staff. It was very convenient that they had a restaurant at the location. We had dinner and breakfast. The reuben sandwich was very good. The eggs and cheese were also excellent. The grand kids loved the pools. We had an experience of our life when a mama bear and her 3 cubs appeared right out back of our balcony and were looking for food in the stream.

There is construction going on behind the hotel currently when you book a stream view. I didn't mind too much since we got a special deal of $60 off per night. It looks like it is about completed so I don't think it will be going on much longer. The new building looks to be off to the side of the hotel as to not obstruct the view of the hill behind the hotel.

We loved the pools; one outside, one inside (the third one we didn't utilize) rain or shine, my kids were swimming LoL. We liked the private patio along the creek... even though there was a new construction going up on the opposite side. We were glad to see that our room was clean and stocked with most everything working as it should. Every interaction with staff was pleasant. Everyone, all of them, were friendly and helpful!!!

We didn't like 2 things: The first, there was no microwave in the room. They only had 2 for the entire place, so we had to go to the office when we wanted to use it. The second, there was no freezer in our mini fridge, but the fridge itself worked fine. Other than those, the wall-USB slots didn't work, but the regular outlets did so we didn't need to use them.

The location was good, was within walking distance of everything we needed or wanted to do. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Everything was good for the most part, a little dated but that was okay
