The staff was great, loved the rooftop pool and the restaurant. Really good food all around. Also loved the record player with the vinyl, wish they had more titles though. Overall a great stay. Lovely hotel.

I didn't realize my room would face another wall. Made the room very dark. There were also alot of noises, especially from the vents. Our room wasn't cleaned the first day and someone opened the door while we were still in the room. Also didn't realize that the pool would be open to the public so had to be strategic about when to go which was a bit inconvenient. Location wasn't great. Not the hotels fault ,but it was marked as great location but it's not near much unless you are referring to the college. Thankful nothing more than a 10 min lyft but I thought it would be more central.

This is my 2nd stay at the property in the past 60 days and have another booked for next month. My primary reason is because the excellent customer care Jason Arnold has given to my party. He is professional, and runs a great bar. When we met him he was manager of the Rooftop bar and now he is manages the AC bar, too. You have found an excellent, loyal employee and I hope you realize what a gem you have. In addition, we have grown to adore Isa at the front desk. She always greets us with a warm welcome and goes the extra mile guide to excellent situations. Her smile and attention to detail should not go without proper recognition.

Make sure you pass on the kudos to these exceptional employees. We travel frequently and these two have made The Otis our favorite. Good employees are hard to find and you have two excellent ones! Jenny Hull and Larry Lenning

Rooftop pool is amazing. Great view and comfy seating. Location is close to UT and walkable to downtown.

Staff was either great or nonexistent. One woman (Amanda) seemed to be doing everything at the rooftop. Service was good during the evening. Days there was no service on the rooftop or in guest rooms. The pool deck area got quite dirty. The rooms were clean but dated. Carpet was worn. The price was high for the value.

Excellent hotel in a really good location in the University area. The rooftop pool area is exceptional and the restaurant Acre 41 was delightful. Great spacious room which was immaculate throughout our stay. The vinyl record player and record was really good as was the huge room TV.

The only grumble was the room would have benefitted from a fridge to keep drinks cool. This was only minor.

fantastic comfort for a city hotel, bed was fantastic and gave a great nights sleep every night. staff are great really friendly and warm and multiple welcomes whenever you come through the lobby. acre 41 restaurant superb for breakfast and dinner and the rooftop bar great (when it’s open)

no fridge in room this would make a massive difference for a long stay. the rooftop bar opening hours was inconsistent and didn’t match anything that was stated

The staff was great. Attended to our every need. We love all the restaurants in the hotel. We really enjoyed the pool and the food up at the restaurant also. We were in love with the record player in a room and have to check out records We loved it. I would definitely go back with my family.

LOVE the record player in the room. Comfy beds, absolutely incredible rooftop bar and acre45 has to die for old fashions. Breakfast was also yummy. Truly a great experience AND pup friendly. Not a ton of grass around for dogs but enough to make due. Location can’t be beat. Can’t recommend enough - we can’t wait to come back!

The ambiance, location and particularly the vinyl record concept with excellent record players in the room was fantastic. The player and the coffee maker needed repair while we were there. They should check things more often. The price was like nicer hotels so that was a bit disappointing. I think you are paying for a terrific location.

The Otis hotel has a wonderful vibe when you step off the elevator. The front seat team is amazing, friendly and knowledgeable of Things to do in Austin. We were there for our anniversary and found a bottle of wine, rose petals, chocolates and a handwritten note from the guest services team! The bartenders at the rooftop bar were amazing mixologists with awesome energy! We had a wonderful time thanks to all of them!

Great hotel, love the little extras like the vinyl player in the room and that you can take out extra vinyls like in a library (for free). The gym is great and it has 2 peloton bikes and the rooftop pool is very nice (especially as they only let guests use it in the day, before the rooftop bar opens at night). Also in a great location.

Nothing to say really - maybe just ensure that all the gym equipment is functional (one of the Peloton bikes wasn't set up properly so only one of us could use the pelotons), plus double check that what you offer on booking.com is what you actually want to offer to guests booking through here (we had breakfast booked through here but then the hotel wasn't aware we had this - they did sort this out quickly and we got our free breakfast).
