Very friendly and accommodating welcome. The property has obviously been renovated since the mixed reviews of a few years ago and the lobby/room/breakfast is far better than these earlier reviews stated. The room is spacious, clean and very well appointed. The flooring in particular is well designed with entry as well as bathroom in porcelain tile and carpet tiles (non pile) for the remainder. Corner room with lots of light from windows and availability of black out blinds. Well equipped kitchen facilities are excellent especially if extended stay. Breakfast options (hot and cold) to fit most taste... ( except for the coffee)

While the room features all appear relatively new, the pillows are "lumpy"...ie, the polyester fibre has clumped, making them uncomfortable and sheets are a bit thin and too much polyester.

The location was amazing. Short walk (like 2 minutes) to the Riverwalk, and short walk to the Alamo (like 6 minutes). A great breakfast spot right across the street, an AMAZING donut shop a few doors down. Room was huge, staff was friendly. Valet parking was very appreciated.

The first room had ants, but they moved us to an ant-free room.

There were a lot of homeless people all around the hotel. It was very sad and uncomfortable for a single lady traveling by herself. I was very leery going out at night by myself.

Slow elevators, we wsited 15 minutes to get on the elevator and it was crowded with a cleaning person and her cart? t.v. not working . Seems the cable was cut outside the building. Rubberized food at breakfast, small selections of food no on site parking. Water in pool was green, I'm used to clear pools and that's what I expect shouldn't we? We parked a block away. It would be nice to inform the hotel guests before they book. Windiws on the street level needed to be cleaned. Very dingy.

If on given date of stay, there are many empty rooms, the guest should be asked if they want a room with a view or not. I had a room with a building wall 10 feet away. it appeared there were limited guests. I would have rated my stay as excellent if I'd been offered a room with a view.

no view in room. the noise level in the morning in the lobby with the maintenance person wheeling around a trash bin on casters over ceramic tiled floors. it was exceptionally loud and distracting. limited breakfast items, but it was still decent. the toaster was not working that day.

The room was good.

The breakfast was not good. We did not like knowing about the parking situation until arrival. The valet parking was disappointing. Someone went through the car and left everything a mess. Luckily we did not have anything of value left in the car.

The location was perfect. We literally walked to most of the spots we wanted to see, and the river walk was just right there. Loved the accesibility!

The bathroom wasn't as clean as I would like. we found a few loose hairs. Also one of the reason we choose this play was because it said there was a coffee maker in the room but when we got there it uses some weird pads instead of ground coffee and we couldn't use it.

the view from the 14th floor especially at night was SO BEAUTIFUL! the staff downstairs were super polite professional and extremely helpful, security was attentive and on point making sure everybody inside was safe and was supposed to be there, the lobby was SO BIG so clean organized and nice, the rooms were super spacious, tall ceilings nice bathroom i loved the mini kitchens and how cozy it was. everything was a 10/10 I would definitely recommend to other people and i definitely plan on returning again soon

Room was very spacious, beds were comfortable, and the walk for food was quick and easy.

Not the cleanest, but it's definitely not horrible. There were fuzzys in the sink, the light switches were dirty with visible black dirtyness, and the sheets had an iron burn mark. Also, there was a lack of breakfast options catered to those with allergies (gluten, dairy). Since i expected this, I figured I would just get a fruit for breakfast, but all they had was green oranges.
