The courtesy breakfast is one of the best ever in any hotel. The room was up to date, everything was brand new, the tv, the walls, the bathroom and the multiple usb plugs to charge cellphones was a big plus. The elevators are one the biggest and fastest ones ever and the unlimited 24 hours coffee bar was amazing.

The staff was not that great. The ladies in the front desk were kind of rude in the check in and chekout. They didn't smile or greet us with any kind of enthusiasm. We didn't feel welcome in this hotel and that's really disappointing. Everything else was perfect. Great remodeling 👏

The room was very nice ,comfortable and modern.. the bathroom was great, as well as the mini kitchen area. The outdoor pool area was very nice. I enjoyed the breakfast time, too. The location area was fabulous and very convenient to walk to the River walk and many other wonderful venues on the street level. Pricy but a very good hotel.

I just didn't like that they add an extra 230 dollar incidental deposit to.your room charge and not tell you ahead of time. They do refund to your account after a few business days but a heads up before hand would be nice. 230 usd can be used for flights ✈️ 😏

A/C went out on 2nd night stay ...noticed around 7am wasn't able to sleep. Reported to front desk clerk Aaron (only this one clerk trying to help all guest at the time) at about 9:30am,never received follow-up from front desk. Reported again around 11am. Did not get new A/C 😐 till 12:45pm. Room temperature 🌡 78°, also alot of noise from above front desk clerk advised we were below the gym he believed but wasn't sure. Discount was given $25 however believe could of been more due to circumstances.

Breakfast was very good with a nice selection, but very crowded and everyone was waiting for the waffle machines. Very clean and updated. Room was a very good size, with a desk and sofa, nice bathroom area

We got stuck in a room with a view of the rooftop of a vacant building next door with graffiti on the walls, no view of the riverwalk at all. The passageway to the Riverwalk was under construction and it felt like you were going down a wrong alley. Not on the main area of the Riverwalk which was nice for being quiet, and a short walk to everything the Riverwalk has to offer. The hotel has old vacant buildings on both sides, and it attracts some of the homeless looking for things and also sleeping nearby on the street. Parking is $45 a night and we did not ever have to use the vehicle while we stayed there.

Front desk and overall staff was very courteous. The room was clean, close to the pool and workout area. The breakfast offered a variety of options which was great. We used the valet parking offered by hotel and it was pricey, but convenient since there was construction.The hotel was close to the Riverwalk and within walking distance to many other attractions.

There was construction the day after we arrived which made traffic a pain. Also, many homeless people hanging around, especially in the evenings.

This Hotel was very clean and staff friendly. Loved the pool the most and breakfast. Great location on the river walk, and valet was awesome. Definitely going to stay here again!! :)

I wish the Elevators worked to go up and down to the river walk, taking all those stairs up and down was a lot. Also, not sure how the breakfast thing worked. My reservation came with breakfast but when booking there are other rooms that don’t include breakfast. How does the staff keep track if you paid or not? Valet is kinda pricey!

I liked that the hotel was clean and safe. This area of San Antonio is a distance from the mall and convention center - but it was still close enough for convenience (no need to use the car).

Sadly, and out of the hands of the hotel, to walk to and from the main downtown area, there are many homeless and disgruntled people. The area is undergoing many renovations, but still there are many old abandoned buildings causing many homeless to loiter in the area. As you walk to the hotel, you can get yelled at (we were by unstable homeless), and I even saw a man defecting in front of the hotel. It's a sad situation.

The staff at this hotel was exceptional! Everybody was so friendly and helpful. From the staff at the front desk to the staff outside the front door. Always had a smile on their face and always greeted you. The breakfast in the morning was good.

The only problem I had was the hotel floor in our room was still dirty. The maids had mopped it, but all they did was mop around somebody else’s hair that was on the floor. I used a tissue to try to pick the hair up and the tissue came up gray in color because the floor was still so dirty. Hotels need to do a much better job of deep cleaning the rooms after each guest. The bathroom could’ve used a better cleaning also.

We loved the hotel and the location.

You need to warn people about parking. A lot of those hotels don't have parking especially larger vehicles.

Breakfast options were good, especially having two sides to the dining/food area. Mostly the same items available in both, though one side had a regular toaster and the other used a conveyor belt toaster. Good location right on the Riverwalk and within walking distance to stores.

The only complaint is with the one bedroom suite. There was no door on the bedroom. The entryway was open so that light from the bathroom (night light) and living room area bled into the bedroom. We have different sleep/wake cycles, so we tend to get separate bedroom accommodations to let one of us sleep while the other is awake earlier.
