Breakfast was very basic - cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea, hot chocolate. That was fine for me. We had room 103 which was in a building right next to the water. Area where we could sit outside our room. Kayaks to use, swimming pool, bar/restaurant right there. Great hiking trails nearby.

Nothing the staff could do but the weather was not good so we could not make full use of the facilities. Ended up having to go to Middlebury to visit a couple of museums.

The lakefront room was beautiful, large, clean & comfortable. The heater in the spacious bathroom was a fantastic addition. The food at the taproom was fantastic and I highly recommend it. The bed & pillows were soft and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and courteous

Reception didn't work in the room (not the property's fault at all) but since I was in town for surgery on my dog, not having my cell phone work at a moment's notice was a bit of a hiccup. The location of power outlets in the room is sporadic

Great for families or for couples with many lake activities: kayaking, paddle boarding, slips for your boat, to trampoline floating dock. There is also a pool on the property. Continental breakfast is in the welcome building. Restaurant -Tap Room is a right on the property as well. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Can’t beat the location!

We could hear the room above us walk around (wasn’t sound proof). We had a corner room by the stairs and bags of hotel laundry was left by the stairs.

I just needed a place to crash for a night and this place worked out great. The price was great and everything about it was so great that I wished that I could have stayed longer to enjoy it more.

maybe the coffee (?)...it is Vermont afterall...so coffee standards are pretty high

I liked the room, it has been updated comfortably enough. It has a nice view across to the lake and nice trees behind for a walk in the woods. The staff was friendly enough and helpful with directions and the orientation of the room was pleasant.

I didn't realize that it was one apartment-like unit amongst many and that the old building would mean quite a lot of creaking. I don't mind that at all, I just imagined because of the price that it was going to be a bit more private from other rooms.

The room type with lake view (this is an absolute must) --- the rooms were recently updated and were very comfortable and nicely appointed (no desk but this was not a business trip). Staff were great and attending to all our needs (e.g. they went the extra mile to bring us a wine bottle opener). Lots of options for watching the beautiful sunset (e.g. by the fire pit or there are lounge chairs on the nearby dock to relax on)

It's a shared balcony with the other rooms on the floor --- not a major issue but something to be aware of.

Bomoseen is a beautiful place in Vermont. We usually stay in the apartment style rooms, but this time we were in a tiny room near the lake; the “200” series. If you have more than 2 people, stay in the 100 numbered rooms or the apartment style rooms. After one night we had to get an additional room to be comfortable getting ready. But, the small room was beautiful!

Everything was very likable.

Great location especially if you own a boat. The main reason we come back every year is the convenience of leaving your boat in the water during your stay. It’s worth the extra money to do that and it is nice not to have to stay a full week like most Air B &B’s require.

The dock space is paid for by the guests. However they are giving you a sign for your boat instead of your dock space so when you leave other guests or people coming to the restaurant or to a party at the property take your space and then you come back and have no where to dock. This has created a lot of arguments. There should be designated dock spaces for people who reserved them with their rooms. Your name should be on the space not your boat. They should have separate dock space for people coming in just for the restaurant or a party.

I splurged on a lake view room and the view was spectacular. You can swim whenever you want and they have a platform for kids to jump off of. My room was spotless and had recently been thoughtfully renovated. The staff was pleasant.

Coffee, drinks and food were a little inconvenient. For dinner I walked to get food at the lodge which was very nicely decorated and served decent food. In the morning I woke up early and realized I had no water or decent milk/cream in my room. They offered coffee at 7:30 and it was not very good. The setting is so nice but I would have brought a decent coffee maker, milk and coffee beans had I known (which is sort of ridiculous). Also be aware that while very nice and clean it’s sort of a motel off a road with cars that go by.

The location is spectacular. We had a lovely view of the lake. The rooms were recently remodeled and I liked the décor. It was rustic in flavor, but clean and fresh feeling. They offered free use of kayaks. The continental breakfast was perfectly adequate. We ate at the Taproom both nights and had excellent meals. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Nothing really. Maybe more spacious rooms but that didn't seem possible the way the building was.
