Husband and I traveling through the area for fall foliage and selected this property based on the great reviews, value and location. Quiet and clean with very friendly staff in the morning (shoutout to Skyler!) Enjoyed the breakfast waffles and good coffee as well along with the awesome view. New owners doing an amazing job.

The outside of the property could use some care, but new owners are working to make updates and improvements. Would have liked a curtain on the bathroom window.

We have been on the road about a month, visited about 20 states already and must have slept in at least 20 hotels … if you ever find yourself in Vermont you must try to stay here ….of all the hotels we stayed in this was the only one that made you feel like family and not a guest . They were the only ones that made home made muffins and if you are there when Erin makes her chocolate chip banana bread that is an extra treat. I heard her tell a guest when she was out of hard boiled eggs that she could scramble him one ( this was 5 minutes before breakfast was ending)who does that… the common room that was opened to all the guests made you feel like you were at a cousin’s house … the atmosphere was welcoming

The breakfast was very good. The location was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view was beautiful. I liked the lounge area. My stay was very peaceful. I like the list of rules.

The bathroom door didn’t shut. The room door was very hard to open. The humidity in the room was difficult to control. The mattress was too high.

Remote location Wonderful big communal area with Pool table, balcony, TV, Games, drinks and ice machine. Really nice to be able to eat our own food we had brought here. (It's miles from a restaurant so do come supplied or eat before you arrive). The decor in our room was tasteful. The breakfast was good. Lots of helpful leaflets and maps around.

The double bed was a bit too soft and saggy. There wasn't anyone to meet us when we checked in, but our keys were left out for us (very trusting!).

It is the third year we visit! Love the location and the coziness of the inn. Very good breakfast and staff is excellent too.

Not the most comfortable beds, not great heat regulation in the rooms and guests can be very loud and act like the own the place which takes away from the coziness.

It had a nice view of the mountains. It’s technically a bed and breakfast, so it was very homey. The room we had was decorated very nicely.

It was a bit secluded, didn’t realize that when making the reservation. It was really a bed and breakfast which I don’t think was clear in the information. The front entrance can be challenging with luggage. We found it easier to take the items we needed rather than taking the luggage into the property.

The breakfast was excellent with fresh batter mixed that morning. The dining room has an excellent view of the surrounding area and is very pleasant. We had booked the room for three and were surprised to find the room with one double bed and bunk beds. The room was small, but clean, the beds were comfortable. We would stay again.

Cool old school vibe. Rooms very comfy, clean and attractive with knotty pine floors and ceilings. Loved the gas decorative heat with glass pane. Wonderful lounge with leather furniture, central gas decorative stove, pool table and wide screen tv. Quaint inn with all you need. Hot tub on the deck too and excellent breakfasts.

The breakfast was great! It would have been nice if there were more protein options according to my brother. Loved the banana bread and cinnamon rolls. Our room was very nice too. It was well decorated and loved the leather chairs and Vermont flannel blankets. Very tasteful

The hot tub under the deck was annoying because of the drop of waters.

There was black mold on the tub , not good. All it needed was bleach and water to get rid of it. I'm not sure if we will be back. The breakfast was ok but no eggs and bacon. , if I had to give you some ideas. Clean off the deck for room 17 , and clean the tub.this would only take 15 minutes. The help there was a 10 very nice people.
