Clean, modern, great location with a restaurant. No coffee/tea maker in room but is provided in the lobby in the morning. There is a free social hour of wine and cheese from 5-6pm. Front desk were friendly and helpful. Since there is no business center, I needed help printing an e-mail. I forwarded my e-mail to Jennifer, Front Office Manager, who printed it for me. Appreciated the great customer service. Allows dogs. Orvis flagship store within easy walking distance. Hildene, the Lincoln Family Home is a short drive from the hotel..

I liked absolutely everything. Rooms are nice sizes, bathrooms beautiful shower with high-end toiletries. Beds very comfortable. Halls are quiet ... slept very well. The staff is excellent and helpful. On-site restaurant is also good (perhaps a little bit pricey, but reasonable given the excellence of the food). Also, to their credit, the hotel does not try to push you there ... the staff will happily discuss the many other great options in town. (Two or three of those are an easy walk). The hotel provides free coffee in the lobby in the morning.

I'm having a hard time thinking of something to write here. It's not the cheapest place in town, but not ridiculous, either ... very fair prices for what you get.

Location and hotel common facilities good, Breakfast was awful and expensive. Not the quality you would expect of such a hotel. Fast food restaurants are better. Dinner was also poor and very overpriced.

The room has average decor. Not what you would expect for the price. No coffee maker. Fan in bathroom did not work. Dog friendly but our dog was not offered any of the advertised dog services and no water.

I’m certain the staff and hotel amenities made my dog feel like a princess. It’s a beautiful hotel inside and out, the restaurant was delicious (breakfast and dinner), and every single staff member was friendly and helpful.

I loved everything about the property! I would only advise people to check when nearby attractions are open - for example, Hildene and the Norman Rockwell Museum are closed on Wednesdays.

I booked this for my parents for their 40th Anniversary. They were beyond happy with their stay and plan on going back soon. She stated that the staff was exceptional, the rooms were the cleanest she'd every seen and the hotel was beautiful. They also ate at the Copper Grouse and were content with their service and meals.

Breakfast exceptional, dog friendly porch dining was comfortable and welcoming. Dinner was also delicious. If I wasn’t on a time constraint I would love to have stayed an additional day or two.

Beautifully decorated, the grounds are great for stretching out after traveling or to enjoy the outdoors. Happy hour offered free drinks, which was a nice surprise!

We liked everything.

The property was right at the center of the town. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We loved the complimentary social hour. The restaurant was booked but looked like it would be good. The fire pits outside were a nice touch. You can walk to other restaurants and bars. Free parking is always a plus. Rooms were spacious and clean!

They style of the room was a bit outdated.

The property was well situated to walk into town and shops. The restaurant was extremely good and the wide porch was the perfect place to dine outside. There were private nooks both inside and out that allowed for relaxing. The fire pit near the bar was a plus as well. The staff were courteous and helpful in all instances. I would visit again and recommend this property to friends.
