Nice, clean basic suites type hotel with full kitchen in the room. pet friendly and lots of grass for walking dogs. very convenient location, near 95, McDonalds and 7Eleven next door.

property is being renovated which is a bit inconvenient, but will be even nicer so overall it’s a good thing. last month whenI stayed the lobby was being torn out/redone, now beautiful. This time when I stayed the pantry/shop was being torn out/redone.

Love that they accept pets, but should be a refundable pet fee if there is no damage from the pet. Rooms are clean and spacious.

Parts of parking lot and lobby need to be cleaned up. Parking lot had a lot of construction looking stuff that could be better contained. Also car eating pot hole needs to be fixed ASAP

Even though the motel is right in front of a train track and numerous trains passing by we never heard a sound. Great nights rest!!!

They had a nice area to cook. Friendly staff. I would consider staying there again.

I liked the kitchenette and good size bathroom. The bed was comfortable.

The toilet seat was loose. The handle on the bathroom door didn't work right.

I like the location. It is very close to 95 and there are stores close by. The bed is listed as a "QUEEN" but feels like a full. Most of the staff members are truly awesome. Miss Anjanette and Miss Dorothy are amazing!! Mr. P.K was so nice and helpful. There are others that didn't seem as excited to help like the 3 I just mentioned. The free laundry facility is a huge bonus!!!

Our room was not very clean when I arrived. This was not the case with my first visit. There was long brown hair all over the bathroom and in the bed. I requested new bedding and P.K (male) was so nice and very apologetic about the condition of the room. The floor had black rubber bands all over it as well as skittles and crumbs. Otherwise everything was nice.

Everything was very nice and comfortable.... Candlewoods Suites Colonial Heights has been my favorite Hotel since 1999.

Being on the 3rd floor. I requested the first floor at checkin, but was told no availability.... didn't seen like the first was unavailable.....

Location was very convenient to my business dealings. The only real down-side was the occasional train rumbling by and very close to the hotel. Otherwise, I'd stay at this place more often.

I liked the friendly welcome and the protective measures in place. It was great having a fill sized refrigerator that made ice on my room.

I didn't like hearing the train go by every 30mins to an hour all night long. My room was on the side of the building by the rail tracks. It would have been good if there were ear plugs in the room.

Room was sufficient.

Pet area too small and too far from hotel rooms. No breakfast, should at least serve on weekends. Location next to railroad tracks, not a good idea. Ice maker did not work.00
