The location was great as a stopover on a road trip. 2 minutes from the interstate and lots of dining option nearby. The outdoor pool was great for cooling off and burning some energy after spending most of the day in the car. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They went above and behind to make sure I was happy with everything. They had a few hot options for breakfast which was convenient. They selection was not huge but the fresh waffle maker was a hit for my family.

The room had a slight stale smell like someone had been smoking and an effort had been made to get rid of the smell. I’m sure the staff would have moved me to another room if I had asked, but it didn’t bother me enough to go through the trouble of moving rooms.

The cleaness, the space an the location was great ,an it was quite an it was a nice place to come an relax an get things done without driving for miles very Happy ...

I really didn't like the lady who was serving the food she was like a baby sitter she kept putting food in the trays an it wasn't empty didn't have a chance to look an see what kind of food was there it was very disturbing an it was Like she wanted us to hurry up so she could clean up not sure what was going on ..

The room was clean and fresh, beds are comfortable even the pull out sofa was comfortable. Breakfast was hot and delicious. There were an older kitchen attendant who was very good and attentive to the needs of the patrons with respect and kindness. The manager Ben was helpful with directions and professional and polite with checking us in. The housekeeper Casey made sure our trash was emptied and we had clean towels. She was nice and friendly.

There was no elevator.

The room was spacious, the king bed was very comfortable. There seemed to be a pillowed mattress topper as well, it was definitely appreciated. The bathroom was tidy and I enjoyed having a tub to use that was a good size for soaking after long hikes. The location was conveniently located very close to the interstate and it made getting around quite easy.

The front desk customer service was fine, but no one seemed exactly “happy to be there”. My room door was located right next to a connecting corridor door, which slammed quite frequently in the mornings as people went to breakfast. I will state this up front as I believe it makes me biased, I am not a huge fan of continental breakfast and this feature was not one of the things I specifically searched for when booking, but I feel this selection left a little to be desired. I have a hard time eating dairy, and I found the options a bit bland with that restriction to my diet. Finding my room itself was a little tricky as there are a few connections corridors which made it a little confusing.

I've stayed here twice. Nice big rooms with king size bed, very comfortable, clean, and quiet. Nice staff.

My room had a connecting door to the one adjacent. Although my neighbour was quiet, I cound tell that the connecting door was not soundproof. It may be a good arrangement for a larger party to have this type of connected rooms, but as a solo traveller it's not ideal. The breakfast was OK but I wish they kept it available a little longer, it closed at 09:00 am.

Room, breakfast and bed was very comfortable.

What I didn't like was when my niece and I were in bed relaxing someone actually must have been also given our room number because the door was locked and the bar to stop anyone from coming in and someone did try to come in. I forgot my kindle in the room and had to go back to get it, went to the desk, gave the room # and the clerk asked if I was so and so and told him no, then gave my name, he finally gave me a key to get back in the room, found my kindle then returned all 3 keys. That I wasn't happy about.

Loved the location, very close to JMU and tons of eateries. They had an awesome complimentary breakfast. We enjoyed the fitness facility also. The room was very clean and the beds were super comfy.

We had some noisy neighbors above us... Their Children were running and stomping like crazy at all hours of the night which caused us to lose some sleep. The toilet seat kept slipping while we were using it.

Great breakfast with sausage, eggs, biscuit and gravy as well as waffles and cereal, etc.well presented. Friendly staff. Clean facilities and comfortable bed. Neat convenience store in lobby with drinks , microwave foods and snacks

rug in room, hairdryer cord was too short and I couldn’t take it out of the bathroom so wasn’t easy for 2 of us to get ready at the same time

Location met our needs...breakfast was good.....staff was efficient and friendly..

...bathroom air vent on ceiling quite dirty...wall shampoo and conditioner were quite hard to squeeze to get any out..had to hold button on hair dryer while I dried my hair....heater blew air up into the curtains which you had to open to avoid it doing that...which we didn't since so much lighting outside..they need to be shorter to window length...
