We absolutely love the location of this hotel. This is our 3rd stay here and we're never disappointed. The breakfasts are great and the staff is super. The Mast General Store is right down the street and we always find beautiful items and fun retro candy. Well Hung is great for a flight or just a great bottle of wine. And, of course, you can't miss the Roanoke Pinball Museum. So walkable.

Parking is a little awkward but it's a downtown venue so the price you pay for convenience. It would be great if the parking fee were waived but, again, worth the walkability. We're still happy with this hotel and would absolutely recommend it.

The woman who checked me in was incredibly helpful, very friendly, and professional. Parking was super convenient in the deck next door and only $8 for overnight parking. The location is very walkable to all that downtown Roanoke has to offer: excellent bars, restaurants, and charming shops. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and quiet. I very much enjoyed my stay and would recommend this property to anyone visiting Roanoke.

This is the second time staying at Hampton Inn & Suites in downtown Roanoke VA. We chose Hampton because of the first stay, which was excellent and within two blocks of our event. The King bed room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast had a verity of offerings, with the western omelette and fried potatoes more than filling. The only improvement would keep the coffee hot and fresh.

The coffee was luke warm.

a little on the pricier side for the area, but you can’t beat the location! the only complaint I have is that when we arrived, the gate to the garage was broken so we had to park a bit further in another garage but it was still validated by the hotel so it worked out in the end!

A unique take on a downtown hotel - perched atop a parking deck with great views of this really beautiful and cool city. The views of downtown and the mountains at sunrise was unique and awesome! The interior was clean and up to date. The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious and the attendant said "Good Morning"! Must be the southern charm. LOVED the place.

The breakfast had a very good variety of hot and cold items. It was clean and well stocked. Staff at front desk were pleasant and friendly. Room was spotless and bed comfortable.

Paying extra for parking garage. There was no where else to park. Wish there was a list of available tv stations.

The view overlooking the city from the 7th floor corner balcony was everything I hoped for. The room was immaculate. The bed was heaven on earth. The staff was sincerely kind and helpful. I don't think I could have wished for a better stay.

I couldn't stay longer. The only thing that would've made it better I think was if they had a pool. It was still great without it.

I liked everything about the place and the staff. Very clean. Excellent staff. Great amenities. Very safe. Great parking. I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Close proximity and within walking distance to lots of places. Absolutely recommend this hotel if you are ever in Roanoke.

Location was great and finding parking in the garage is nice and easy. The view from the room was nice.

The only thing I would say I didn’t care for was that there was no access to hotel from parking garage so you had to walk out to the street then into the hotel lobby.

location great, breakfast tasty and lots of choices, loved coffee - tea - hot water- available all day long, secure, parking convenient and affordable, clean, comfortable, balcony room awesome views and enjoyable stay

price for stay could have been lower; unfortunately cleaning not available daily (but we were told this upon arrival); wish there was a pool :)
