It is centered in downtown St Paul. Parking is really convenient. Close to several restaurants and fast food. The hotel is even connected to a restaurant which is a plus! The room was very clean and smelled nice. I really love the creaky floors and country look. The bed was very comfortable and there were extra blankets and pillows if needed. We have stayed her twice now and each time is perfect!

We had more than two people in our room (total of 5). Breakfast is free for just two people so when we asked for 5 total, we ended up having to pay for 3 extra breakfast items. I really wouldn’t consider it “breakfast” but it was a nice gesture. It consists of a juice, fruit (like an apple) and a prepackaged muffin. I just wish it was more accommodating for the number of people and not just two.

We loved the balcony/walk out from our room. It had a large table and benchs and was steps from the parking lot. The game room was nice, it had a dart board and pool table. Our 10 year old loved the fire pit outside for smores and the bunk beds!

The double door that went out to the parking lot/patio in our room wasn't super secure. I feel like someone definitely could have gotten in it if they had wanted to. Also, for the price I would expect some kind of breakfast, more than what they give. You do get a muffin or yogurt, a juice, and a fruit, but waffle bar, sausage, eggs, basic stuff that most hotels provide would be nice. One more minor thing is there is no ceiling lighting at all, only lamps, which doesn't provide a ton of light. All of these are fairly minor things and would not keep me from staying there again!

It had unique charm in a cozy location of the town. Reminds me of a Hallmark movie honestly haha. The staff was really nice. The room was huge and had plenty of space. Very clean. The king bed fit myself, my husband and our 2 year old with room to spare. The room was air conditioned!

Breakfast options were extremely limited, had to ask staff what breakfast places were nearby. They offered yogurt and granola or a muffin with juice and a small prepackaged fruit cup. But we wanted something more filling.

Wonderful experience with a homey, cozy atmosphere! The staff were welcoming and made us feel valued as guests. The room itself was spacious and clean. Plenty of space for our family of 4. The 2 fire pit areas and open outdoor area were great touches! I would certainly stay here again!

There is nothing negative that I can think of. It is an older building with hardwoods, so you can hear movement around you, but it didn't bother us at all.

Loved the charm and decor, the staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable and the room bigger than I expected. Very clean. Couldn’t beat the price and it was convenient for us on the way home from Bristol.

The door was locked for the front lobby when we got there around 2am which caused me to slightly panic but once I called the front desk they came in and helped me immediately.

The room was beautiful! The little sitting room in the front was darling. The bedroom was so comfortable we extended one night and spent the entire day just sleeping and lounging. The little bucket to order and receive breakfast was such a cool idea. The muffins, apples, orange juice, granola and yogurt were yummy. Also, the coffee service in the lobby was incredible with all kinds of syrup flavors.

There wasn't much to not like. The bed was just a bit hard on my back, but many beds are. I brought my shower chair (I'm 67 and have Fibromyalgia) and the water pressure and the way the shower was set up was a bit odd, but we figured it all out.

The room was comfortable and recently renovated so it had a fresh and clean feel to it. I was amused by the breakfast pail but the contents equated to a mundane continental breakfast. The patio in the back looked very relaxing although I arrived too late to enjoy it.

The chair in the room was included more for decor than function. I would have preferred something comfortable to sit on. Also it's pretty remote.

The bed was very comfortable. The sofa bed in the living room was quite comfortable for sitting (didn't open it or use it for sleeping). Rooms were well appointed. Good linens. Towels were fluffy and soft. Bathroom was pretty and well stocked. Great old building very well renovated. I left a paperback book behind and they called me and offered to mail it! Very thoughtful.

What a great place! Decor throughout the hotel is so interesting and fun. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very spacious with lots of room for everyone. ATVs for rent on site were a blast! Couldn’t ask for a better weekend and will definitely return.

Nothing to dislike.

It is beautifully appointed and very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All of our needs were taken care of quickly and with ease! We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast options are limited. I would appreciate more choices and would be willing to pay for the additional cost.
