Location is great and clean place after a long flight
Check in can be stressful after an international flight especially at night. I called for the airport and they said will send a code to unlock the door but theyvdid not. The kiosk does not operate smoothly. It refused to scan my ID. Luckily I called again and someone answered and I was able to check in. It took time standing outside in the cold. Imagin if the client is international with 0 USA experience, this could be really nerve cracking. Plus, whoever answers the phone is pushy and sometimes dismissive. It is a hotel, so what if the guest calls after hours. That is super strange to say " it I'd after hours" for anything. It is a HOTEL..

The communication one I booked was not accurate. It told me that I would receive an email two days before the reservation for my check in pin number. I left messages via chat and on an answering machine with the phone number that was provided and no one called me back. It ended up that the pin is provided when you use the kiosk There was no email ever sent prior to arriving. It was just confusing. Or stay there was nice but the communications being outdated gave me some anxiety that we wouldn't be able to check in.

Clean, well maintained and excellently located for bars, restaurants, sightseeing and shopping. Bike ride away on biketrails along canal/river from National Mall. Comfy bed, fresh linens, great pillows. AC worked well. Self checkin at an ATM-like thing hidden behind a door next to the front door, no keys, all managed by codes. Little communal kitchen with free Keurig-type coffee. Had lockers in communal kitchen to hold luggage post checkout. Even a golf umbrella to use during your stay. We'd definitely stay again.
WiFi was unreliable. Not totally soundproofed from other rooms.

The location on the canal was awesome and a great place to walk. The room I was in had lots of stairs, but it was clean and comfortable. There was a desk in front of the window, so I could see the canal while I was working, which was cool. Location was great, very walkable to restaurants and shopping. They even had an umbrella in the room that I could use-and I was grateful for it, because it rained every day of my stay. Staff was really friendly and accommodating.
Distance from the airport--there isn't a great way to get to the Georgetown area because buses are kind of limited, and there's no nearby Metro station. To Uber from the Dulles to the hotel was pretty expensive. This isn't the hotel's fault, just something that you might want to plan for. I did not have a car on this trip, so I had planned to do a lot of walking, but FYI the hotel doesn't have parking available.

I liked how the kitchen was set up. It was available for use including a full fridge, toaster, and water boiler/coffee maker. If I wanted to make myself a breakfast or save money by eating in, I could have! I liked that the fridge had a box for each room.
The kiosk outside for checking in needs better lighting. I checked in after dark and it was really hard to see the spot to put my card and passport.

Lovely historic property in a great location in Georgetown.
Self check in needs some improvement. We had just arrived from Europe and our phones weren't picking up local networks. Our surname had been incorrectly entered on their system so we needed to access our booking code. It would help to make WiFi available to guests when checking in. It took us nearly an hour to sort out and the phone number supplied was not operational.

I loved the location! Not only was it super cute, right along the canal, but it was right off the main drag of Georgetown. We could walk many places and utilized the city trail (Rocky Park Trail) to get down to the monuments right along the Potomac!
Its a B&B or Inn style, so don't expect the amenities of a hotel, but it was all clean, super cozy and had everything we needed!

I like best the cleanliness of the 2 rooms I stayed in for a total of 4 nights. Praise to Maria ! I would also like to commend Alexis the manager for her assistance with my move from the 1st room for the 1st 2 nights to my 2nd room for the next 2 nights. I had 2 room types for my 3rd and 4th nights and that would have involved a lot of movement of my large luggages from room to room. Alexis’ assistance afforded me a seamless move. The location was very convenient for my visit to DC
None. Given that it is a historic property in prime location, the number and sizes of rooms makes sense. In fact, I think it is amazing that each room has its own ensuite bath/shower toilet!

Location was excellent, within walking distance of everything and good places to eat on the same street. There was no breakfast but a well equipped kitchen to use. We emailed to ask about check out got a swift reply. Deposit was returned the next day.
We were hapoy with everything thank you. Self check in was good. Room was clean plenty of towels.

The location is great, the spot has no parking do not rent a car. Overall at night it was quiet but by early am the honking of the cars. Not a problem for us but might be for some. It is ahistorical house so it creeks and it is old. The area is secure, plenty of light inside the AC was amazing
The layout is confusing, there was no explanation of where things were located or what you could do. The wifi was spotty even if you connected to the three different ones it would drop. Work wifi not suitable.
