The room did not include breakfast, but you could purchase breakfast in the on site restaurant. We purchased breakfast the first morning. It was tasty. Limited menu, but everything was good. Vegetarian options were available. Free coffee was available in the Medio Cafe each morning. Very tasty. Nice staff. The bedrooms, baths, common room and kitchen were nicely laid out. We had plenty of space. We made use of the kitchen for breakfasts, making lunches to take on our daily bike rides and for relaxing in the evenings before heading out for dinner. Full-sized fridge was great to have. Nice staff. Very helpful. Provided space for us to store our bikes and to charge our eBike. Provided luggage storage for us.

Wish the hot tub had been open. It was a tease to see the steam coming off the water and see the sign saying the pool was closed until further notice. There was a glitch between Booking.com and the property that caused our reservation to not show up in the property's system. It was a little bit of a nail-biter when the staff was trying to make sure our room was available. We had separate reservations for 3 contiguous nights plus 1 night two days later. Not sure what happened, and the staff worked everything out for us, but it was a little stressful while it was being resolved - especially the first night when we arrived late after travelling literally all day to get to the islands.

Great atmosphere, nice lobby, lovely cafe and we received free beverage vouchers for the cafe which was a thoughtful touch. Spacious room, clean, comfortable beds.

While the building and lobby were very modern, the room itself was quite dated, particularly in the bathroom and decor. We got a discounted price through booking.com so it was great for us, but not sure I would have been happy to pay the full price for this dated of a room had I not gotten the discount.

The double queen room was very spacious, basically 2 rooms with a kitchenette. Loved having a hot water kettle but no tea was available. Keurig coffee was plentiful but you do have to walk to the lobby. The hallway was interesting; the doors to rooms are perpendicular so there is an optical effect. Staff was very friendly and helpful with tips, including renting a car from the agency across the street. It was our first time in San Juan so we were mostly out and did not check out the cafe, hot tub, or picnic area. We just walked from the ferry, it's not too far but it is uphill...

Tea would have been lovely in addition to coffee. No half and half, just powdered creamer in packets. No dish washing detergent in the kitchen, I guess they don't expect guests to wash dishes on vacation!

The amenities made this a great stay. There are lots of small/cozy (and large) gathering spaces - comfy chairs by the fireplace, sitting area by glass artwork display, indoor game room, puzzle room, movie theatre room, large coffee/sandwich shop with lots of windows, outdoor children’s play area, outdoor game area, lots of patios, hot tub, and more. Also, the bathroom had two small shelves for toiletries.

The room decor is dated. However, it was very clean.

I received a text from Friday Harbor Suites on the morning of check-in inquiring of our arrival time. When we arrived, EARLY, our double bedroom suite was ready. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly and serviceable.

Our suite was not renovated. Decor and furniture reflective of early '90s. But the internet posting shows some suites that have been updated and some suites that have not. So I was not mislead. If you are looking for a very modern suite, then this may not be the place for you. Otherwise, very pleased with stay.

We liked the onsite coffee shop, bakery items, access to refill water bottles. The balcony was a plus!!

complimentary shampoo and conditioner bottles were very small and hard to squeeze contents out. Bed mattress was uncomfortable, had a sink hole, could use replacement. Crazy hallway! Did not know about the shuttle services until leaving, check-in staff could have told more of amenities of hotel.

It was a perfect place to stay to allow for a nice morning jog or walk to the ferry or shops which were about a 1/2 mile away. We are in our 50's and this was very easy. We utilized ebikes from Mikes Meat Cycle and it was the perfect getaway. The cafe had excellent breakfast and staff were very friendly.

I'm from Texas and use to ceiling fans but the weather is not hot it's just a personal preference.

Location. The hotel is close to all of the attractions of Friday Harbor. Knowledgeable staff. Recommended a Saturday Farmer's Market just down the street. Suggested a decent seafood restaurant with popular menu items. Familiar with other activities we were interested in. We enjoyed the cafe and the breakfast pastries. The Cafe takes pride in the coffee drinks and the quality pastry offerings. Our family suite was spacious!

I had a really good experience at this hotel. We had a full bedroom separated from the living area (which includes a separate bed) and a kitchenette. We also had a patio looking out to a very quiet, serene yard. It was very clean. Only drawback we could hear people waling upstairs. It doesn't bother me very much but if you are bothered by it, just request an upstairs room

Even though it's only 10 minutes walk from the main downtown area were all the stores, restaurants and ferry are, you are in a very quite, serene setting. The hotel also has a shuttle to downtown.

Positives; The location was great! The quiet was nice! We loved having a suite, so nice. Parking was close to our room.

We didn't ever see the onsite café open. We didn't ever have any housekeeping services come to our room. We tried to cancel our last nights stay because of ferry reservation problems, and ended up just losing the money and left the night before.
