You can’t beat the view. It’s easily one of the prettiest views in Washington state. I fell in love with the view at the gorge amphitheater next door and have been wanting to stay at SageCliffe for awhile now! Overall it was a relaxing and wonderful experience. We stayed in a cliff house. The bathtub was huge and it was so nice to have our own little private place for the night. The restaurant was great, and we also loved the whiskey bar! My husband and I don’t treat ourself to higher end experiences very often so I was surprised that when I ordered a mimosa they literally freshly squeezed the oranges. It was the best mimosa I ever had (as silly as that may seem) I paid for a spa treatment and it was also wonderful. We wish we stayed more than one night, lots of things to do on the property that we didn’t get to! We can’t wait to come back.
Not much negative to say. My only thoughts is its VERY expensive and I wish it would have come with a few more things in the room like robes, or wine glasses without having to ask. Not a huge inconvenience however, we will definitely be back.

We stayed in one of the cliff house suites, and our accommodations were very nice and comfortable, with an incredible view. The weather was perfect and it was great to sit out on our private patio under the just beginning-to-bud grape vines and enjoy a glass of wine. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious, and the people serving us, both at the restaurant and in the bar were friendly and welcoming. The view was spectacular!
Beautiful place, but very pricey. Signage could be improved once you turn on to the property. It was tricky finding the main building for check-in. We were disappointed on Saturday morning that the only breakfast option was in the form of a brunch, and was rather expensive at $30 per person. This was not mentioned on the website and a smaller breakfast from the posted menu would've been so nice.

I loved that it was close to the concert event. I liked that they dropped you off at the gate for free for your event. The ride we had was like a ride at the fair. FAST AND FURIOUS! We had a blast just going to the gate. The views are breathtaking!
The only thing I did not appreciate is that the parking and sitting areas out side the yurts are not gravel. Instead it is dirt with all these prickly plants. The little round prickly things get stuck in your shoes. You track them into your yurt. I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and had several round prickly things get stuck in both my feet. I made my way immediately back to the bed which I fell into trying to get relief. Once I picked them all off I was ok. Maybe add a broom and dustpan to each yurt or gravel your parking and sitting areas around the yurts.

The entire ambiance of the hotel. The layout of the accommodations on the property and the comfort of the room, the scenery, the pool, the winery.
We felt the restaurant was limited in their menu selections, especially for people with food allergies. Also, the chef did not inform the waitress that they were out of a certain ingredient in my meal selection. It was served without telling us and substituted with another ingredient abundantly more than I would’ve liked. However, waitress Daisy was one of the nicest and friendliest we’ve met in a lot of our travels. More restaurants need servers like her.

The location was breathtaking. The yurts were cute and comfy. The beds were particularly comfortable.
The service at the restaurants was sorely lacking. Everyone was friendly, but not much attention to detail was paid. And everything moved at a snails pace. Also at the whiskey bar we were constantly overlooked, never asked how we were on our drinks/if we liked it or needed refills. The kitchen at tendrils was excruciatingly slow. Our food took over 30 minutes to come out. The bart tenders at tendrils were very good and friendly, though.

We stayed in a cave room. The sliding door opened up to a nice sitting area/lawn and awesome views of the Columbia River. The bed was quite comfortable--not too soft or too hard. The walk-in shower was a plus. Coffee maker in the room was nice.
While the room was fantastic, I can't say the same for our experience in the restaurant. We had a reservation and were seated right away. After water was served, the waiter disappeared for 45 minutes! There seemed to be plenty of staff, but we were told they were understaffed. There were only about 4-5 tables to serve. The celery and carrots on my husband's hummus plate looked like they'd been sitting around for days. Sent it back. Then he ordered a hamburger. It was served RAW. Sent it back. They offered anything on the menu. We passed. Never, ever have we had a worse dining experience. However, they did comp the entire meal/wine.

Wow, what a spectacular resort with an astonishing view of the Columbia River valley. We loved it! I don't think a yurt would be super fun, but the higher level houses are terrific. Ours had very comfortable beds, modern style, fireplace, Bose speaker. Wonderful views. For what you get, it's a great value compared to similar wine country resorts in Napa, France etc. The view truly is spectacular, almost on par with the Grand Canyon, really amazing. They have a hiking trail into the area, even a small walk on that takes you to a ledge where you could watch for hours.
The pool wasn't as heated as we'd like it to be. Plus surprisingly no outdoor hot tub next to the pool, they definitely could use that instead of the fish pond. Also, the restaurant food was so expensive that we didn't even eat there, but it certainly is lovely. We instead had their pizza, which was ok enough.

Beautiful views, wine tasting room, hiking trails. 2/24/23 enjoyed the pizza outside, employees were very helpful to clear off all the snow and made a great fire for us to enjoy the sunshine and pizza on a cool day. Even though it had snowed a lot a few days prior to are arrival the employees did a great job clearing the walkways and drive to allow for safe walking. I just had hip replacement 30 days prior, so it was helpful to have the area free of snow and ice. The restaurant was expensive, but the food was amazing. We ate at the restaurant for dinner two nights. The rooms were comfortable but would recommend a few improvements. The resort soap and lotion were fabulous, nice to have both a soaking tub and shower. Will return for sure, but in the summer when more to do and enjoy all the outdoor activities they have to offer.
Stayed in unit 27, and on Friday, 2/24 employees were pumping out water over the hillside with a strong sulfur smell for several hours close to deck. It was not clear water, so asked if sewage and they replied no. Rooms: Toilet Paper very hard, no extra blankets for the winter. Would recommend removing the desk and add a table. Would also recommend adding drawers and more hangers, so you don't have to live out of a suitcase, challenging for a 4 day stay.

It’s beautiful with great hiking and a pool plus vineyard and winery near.
Our caravan was mostly lovely but they resealed the patio the day we arrived so we couldn’t sit out on Adirondack chairs which seemed wrong since we paid $500 to stay that night. Also our room was missing its coffee maker but had all the other coffee making items there - just no machine.

This property really goes the extra mile. They were redoing the floors in their main building, and they had a delay with the finishing of those floors. They had called to cancel our reservation BUT we live about 3-4 hrs. from the property and left before they called with that message. (It was on our answering machine when we got home. ) BUT, even with that, we were welcomed, the delay with the floors explained, and they did a great "work around". they had their Chef make us a delicious dinner, delivered to our room and sent a complimentary Bottle of Wine. Their Staff was very polite and respectful. Everyone just handled this with calm, polite attitudes. Lovely Setting, Very nice Property.
They could have called us earlier and we would have changed our reservation. But, again, they did a great job of making our stay comfortable.
